Lusaki was quiet while Marie supposedly threatened the half lion. He seemed nice. Knew some tongue Lusaki didn't. Apparently everyone here was bilingual. Lusaki didn't care about being bilingual or not, be she had always considered learning Japanese. Or maybe engineering. Suddenly a burning part of Lusa made her flip her hand, probably hitting the person in front of her. "Ooh Ooh Me! I have a question!!!" Lusaki cheered as she raised her hand. Maybe that was a little sarcastic, but seriously, Lusaki had a question in which her burning curious self would kill her if she didn't ask the question. "What are you going to do with this place and us?" Just you wait, Lusaki. You'll probably end up dead.Oh who cares? Death is something I don't fear.IDIOT.Lusaki waited for an answer. (Guys seriously, Logan MarshallRosemary JacksonBrenda AndersHere I probably tagged te wrong people, but you guys try tagging others! We need more people. Ben nodded slowly, trying to block out any feelings that might suggest fear. Wincing at Jake's injured shoulder, he turned to Marie and shivered. He's right, the half blood thought, now refusing to believe it was sapphire. I'm sure its some other half blood he ran into. So Ben sat there, as stoic as he he could be, hoping she wouldn't come to him.

( Viv, really? I think you should know before tagging my account that I am indeed participating in this thread. I am choosing not to roleplay with Rosemary in this thread because she will get overemotional and not shut up, leading to her death, and I would not like to lose my first account. I am waiting for a good moment to reply with Hannah, and I am replying with Sapphire now. I am not going to tag other people, as it is their choice whether they want to reply to this thread or not, and you cannot force someone to reply to a thread they just might not want to participate in. Please consider this, because I would not like it to happen again. )
Sapphire immediately took her katana away from Jake's neck and looked around the room, trying to find whomever had childishly shouted out. No surprise- it was Lusaki, probably one of the people she disliked the most. Slowly, she walked towards the girl she spotted.
"Well, let's see. I'd like to torture each one of you. That's just me." She knelt in front of Lusaki, rage building up. Sapphire disliked Lusaki so much it was hard to look at her without injuring her. "I don't know, what would you say, Shadow?"

(Shhh, I was asked to do it. I know Sapphire's in it I'm just thinking of your other accounts~ Now thanks for informing me.)
Lusaki stared right back at Sapphire, her face kinda just slack, nothing more than a small peasant smile, as if looking at an old friend. But then, Lusaki had always been that way. When Sapphire mentioned torturing, Lusaki made no flinching movement, no fearful action. Inside Lusaki's brain, though, her thoughts popped up constantly. I'm going to be the reason everyone's being tortured. Does anybody hate me right now? Do I deserve to be hated? Maybe I do. Will they actually torture us? There must be more to taking over AA than torturing us and watching us scream in agony.... Lusaki's eyes scanned Sapphire's features calmly as she waited for probably the last thing that would happen. But did Lusaki care? It kind of hit Lusaki that she didn't care much about dying anymore. She had nothing in life to look up to, she only had one friend, who was taking over the academy, and all there was for comfort was a tree, a bat, and a book on engineering. But then Lusaki felt that living through this could be an accomplishment, no matter how much hate she would receive. Lusaki kept her breath steady.

|Oh, gosh, just realized I had replied on the wrong account. Sorry guys| |And Yes, I told Viv that it's okay if she wanted to re-tag the people participating in this thread. I think she was thinking more of the RPer than the character, though I do understand where you're coming from. it's just a misunderstanding.|
Shadow stood stoic as Sapphire threatened a lion half-blood in the front row, murmuring something she could only vaguely hear. She's not stupid enough to tell him, is she? Internally pushing any consideration away, she lifted her chin and refocused her eyes on Lusaki. Fool! I can't protect you easily from this! "Oh, Marie, don't be so hard on this guest. It's a wonderful question, though one I will get to now," Opal stated, a warning shot though her eyes towards her young, bat apprentice. Now, addressing all the academy, a placid, controlling look on her face, she excused the other half-bloods and inhaled deeply. "You're lives will be very different from now one. You will not be permitted to enter the school itself unless invited. You're meetings with you're foolish principal will be supervised, and she will be caged. You will do as I or Marie say, and if there are any questions you will come to me. Talk with disrespect and Marie will see to dragging you to me to fit you with a punishment. "Be cautious. Death may not be better than our wrath. "Now as for Damian Wright, who I am assured you've heard has... disappeared... Don't worry. I'll release him when I see fit. He is in no immediate threat. "I will not hesitate. I will not pity. And there will be little mercy."

"Give no respect, expect no respect." Sapphire walked away from Lusaki and towards the center of the aisleway.
She didn't exactly agree with all Opal said, though she did agree with most of it. She expected to be a part of making punishments for half-bloods, especially since she was an assassin too. Sure, maybe Opal had a little more skill. But Sapphire was an assassin too, and she still had skill. Plus they had almost equally hard pasts to motivate them to torture and kill and reign.
Anyways, on the other hand, Sapphire had something to add. She was mentally debating during Opal's short-ish speech whether or not she should announce that she would pity only one person. That person was Ben. She didn't want to tell Opal in private, because she wanted Ben himself to know as well. She was confused, trying to decide on which decision, even when Opal's short-ish speech had ended, so she said nothing at all.

(wait so who here isn't replying? We should ask them to reply...)
Jake exhaled quickly, then gave a pained look at Ben, trying to ask him what he thought would happen in the future. Shadow and Marie ruling over... What would happen? Perhaps the students would be tortured. Jake looked at Marie, studying her after she had left Lusaki. That little girl better not blow it.... Sapphire- MARIE MARIE MARIE why'd Jake imagine the name as Sapphire? Jake put his head down, still thinking madly about this. No, it couldn't be Sapphire. And if it was her, why did Sapphire seem so cruel to Jake and then all soft to Ben? It seemed strange. Jake's bleeding shoulder made Jake used his hand to cover it, still staring at Marie in a somewhat sad expression.

[[ Stop being insensitive and deal with the fact that some people are unable to respond as much as you would like them to. They don't always have a choice in the matter. ]]
Cody froze a bit as the assassin's eyes landed on him, trying to shrink back into his seat. He didn't like being noticed and he didn't like the feeling of her looking at him. The boy had never been so happy to have attention taken off him as the next person asked their question.
Damian? Hadn't he been one of Alec's friends...?
This room was too stuffy. Cody was becoming claustrophobic, he had get out of the crowded area. Anyone looking might have noticed the way he was shuffling in his seat, he was fidgeting a lot. He needed to leave but he couldn't with the assassins so close-- could he sneak out? Not unless there was a distraction...a white ferret tended to stick out against the darker floors.

After a sharp smile, Opal stepped slowly down the stairs, still viewing the half-bloods, her prisoners. And she stopped, at the heap on the floor that was Claire. Snagging a chair from one of the isles, positioned it in front of the microphone, and beckoned Sapphire on stage. "You all probably think that your Principal can swipe this position away from us again, right? I have a counter for that too. Marie here will show you." Another knowing smile, and Opal carefully picked her way to the door, where she stood, guarding. "If you have a personal issue that must be resolved, please, do come and inform me."

Sapphire, a bit cautious, walked to the stage. She didn't know why, but she pitied the principal just a tiny bit. The principal didn't even know what was going on. But why was that getting to Sapphire? The principal was a half-blood! A half-blood! She despised any and all half-bloods. They had everything perfect. They could transform into animals, while the humans were stuck with being themselves. She envied this greatly. But not only was it that reason why she despised half-bloods, it was also because she wanted to have others feel the pain she had went through.
I was starved and beaten by my own father. I was locked in my room for days at a time and I couldn't see my friends. Hunger, dehydration, and the feeling of being alone were my constant companions. And did my mother ever come back? No! She divorced my dad and I still haven't seen her!
Anger boiled inside of her- the anger she needed to get through the concert. She climbed the steps of the stage and twiddled her katana, just waiting for the okay from Opal. First she would walk to Claire, then act like Claire was a little girl, saying "Wakey, wakey!", then she would make her realize just what pain could feel like... Suddenly, her thoughts started to overwhelm her.
Hunger. Dehydration. The feeling of being alone. My constant companions.
Let's show the stupid principal what pain really is.

A deep, haunting smile overtook Opal's face as Marie's twisted with what she translated as hunger. Maybe just slightly. With a quick glance to the audience again, the assassin stepped back, turning her hand right-side up and slowly drawing it across the stage in a universal signal for "it's you're show now."

Darkness, shading Claire's consciousness. It ate her, clawed at her, mocked her in it's mysterious, cruel ways. Slivers of hope danced in front of the young Principal, like flakes of gold at the other side of a canyon, the wind slipping it into it's grasp. It was locked away, the hope, and though it shimmered brightly, it was not hers. It was theirs. Claire sat up straight, gasping for air. She coughed up blood, a result of a sharp kick that the black-clothed assassin had gifted her when Opal had first confronted her. She could see only out of one eye, as the other was swollen shut, purple and blued. Everything was fuzzy, like a dream, and she felt too warm, suffocated, dizzy. Claire could hear a voice, loud and proud, and then a muffled silence. The first speaker stepped back... it was Shadow. It had to be. And as the pain shrouded her body but left her eyes - er, eye - sharper and a bit more focused, she could only hope that the pain wouldn't be more.

Sapphire whipped around and saw the principal, gasping for air and coughing up blood. It startled her for a second, the sudden gasp for air that had probably escaped her long before her "appearance" on the stage.
"Wakey wakey!" Sapphire grinned, tapping Claire's forehead with her index finger as if it was a door, keeping her voice just a tiny bit below normal voice level so the audience might only be able to hear some of what she was saying. "Are you done hibernating, half-blood?"

Marie's finger was a woodpecker on her scull. Claire cringed under it, then mustered the courage to spit a blood-saliva mixture into the girl's face. "Sticking with- the classics- are we?" Claire mocked, glaring at the woman with pure rage. Though she tried to put on a tough face, to show her students that they had a slim chance, but a chance nonetheless, she was rigid with fear just under the skin. Claire had been broken already, and it wouldn't take much to coax away her rusted hope. And though it would pain her deeper than any physical wound, she would do as she had been forced to promise to do, despite her drive to refuse anyway.

(Imma just post here even though I don't have much to post...) Lusaki was finding herself in the front row, a look of mistrust but also deep curiosity planted on her pale face. The girl found this like the single action movie (little girl from village= crappy internet) she had watched, the moments where the hero was scared but still showed courage. Lusaki grinned at the thought, hoping Claire was like the hero. SHe then immediately removed the grin from her face, hoping Claire didn't see it and think Lusaki was supporting the fact that she was being poked by a mass murderer. Lusaki looked on, her knees bent slightly in case she needed to bolt.

Sapphire grinned evilly and looked at Opal. Since she didn't have a microphone, she spoke loudly to the crowd. "You've got one feisty principal here, you stupid half-bloods!" She grinned evilly to Claire, trying to taunt her with her looks, daring Claire to move or speak for her pathetic students.
Then her mouth overtook her mind and her heart, and she spoke out to the crowd of hopefully scared students. "I bet that not even one of you has the guts to stand up for your pathetic principal!" Sapphire pointed her katana out at the students, daring them with an evil glare on her face. If even one of them stood up, she would invite them up to the stage, and most likely torture them along with Claire.
"And Claire," Sapphire grinned evilly again, focusing her attention back to the principal. She knelt down in front of Claire with a smug, evil smile planted on her face.
Her voice was a mere whisper, probably only loud enough for Claire to hear. "You haven't the slightest clue of what I've been through. My life had been starvation, dehydration, and separation for ten years. I came to the academy to torture and kill half-bloods to make them feel what I've been through. And if you dare speak or move a mere inch, I will continue my rampage... starting with you."
It was only Sapphire's hope that her words would chill Claire to the bone, making her obey her orders.

Well, this night has switch startlingly, Zal thought grimly. First it had been sunshine and rainbows, then blood and blades. The empathy he was feeling was almost overwhelming, and combined with the disappointment and complete fear, it really wasn't the best of combinations. I thought she was going to change. So when Marie had called out, daring anyone to step forward, he stood tall and raised his hand. "The only thing we've done to you is fear you," Zal said with a knowing look in his eye, the one that only Sapphire - yes, Sapphire, not Marie - could interpret. The one that shows pride in a promise but caution in careful words. "And that was your choice. If you want to hurt an innocent, you're changing nothing but making yourself a demon. So where do you really lie, Marie? With the good or the bad? With us - the good -" he turned a hand to everyone around him, then pointed at Shadow. "Or the her."

Lusaki was almost grinning, though she tried hard not to. This is like a movie! she thought. It even had either a hero or an extremely dumb idiot trying to get the "bad guy" on the "good side." If the next minutes would be like a movie, then Lusaki had no need to be scared. Well actually, she did, because Lusaki was now in the pit, getting really close to Marie and Claire, and still staring curiously at Claire's beat up appearance. Lusaki was actually scared, though her stupidity and sugar high-ness blocked all that, and so Lusaki just stood there on tippy toes, staring with orange-amber-ish eyes.

She turned to face the crowd and saw who had spoke up- Zalman.
Sapphire felt a little dizzy and the need to sit down came to her, but she didn't. Zalman had promised to help her with a better personality, but she hadn't told him that it would be her alter personality. Yes, she still wanted to be an assassin, but she also wanted to experience love, and a somewhat feeling of kindness.
She thought deeply about Zalman's words. She found them extremely taunting, and now what decision was she to make? She had to speak for herself or run away, and she had to be careful with either decision because Opal could hurt her as well. This was almost her nightmare, being faced with a dilemma that could have consequences either way. But Sapphire had to stay true to herself no matter what decision, and that was final.
"You see, Zalman," She spoke, mainly to him, trying to keep eye contact with Zalman without tears welling in her eyes. "I am not hurting innocents. Half-bloods are pathetic abnormal people with an advantage of morphing into another animal. Because of difficult pasts, I have felt that I want others to feel my pain. Take my past and make it their present. I felt I could finally start my wrath here. But something was holding me back. I didn't want to be all evil. I wanted to experience love and kindness that I had been missing for ten years of my life. I wanted to have friends, because in my past, I wasn't allowed to go to school or visit my friends, so I eventually lost them."
"So what does this all mean?" Sapphire kept eye contact with Zalman and gave him- as well as the crowd- her final answer.
"I lie with both."

Even more disappoiuted, knowing the stubborn Sapphire, Zalman didn't press further. He knew it would only hurt him and Jess. He looked over at his girlfriend, swallowed, and then turned back to Marie. He wanted to yell and pester and put his own life on the line, but.... he couldn't risk it backfiring. There will be a chance. Just hang in there, Claire... "There is no in between," he muttered simply in response. "There is only the pain you're causing yourself by being divided. You don't have to listen to this... this... monster. Just.... please."

The dizziness started to take over. Claire's head bobbed back in her attempt to gain Marie's attention back. "Just hurry up and finish your stupid question so I can refuse," she snarled, her head swimming and her bruises throbbing.

"Shut up." Lusaki muttered under her breath. Claire should be modest. Like, stay quiet so she wouldn't get herself stabbed in the eye. Besides, movie cliches never worked well in real life, anyways. Lusaki was scared, when she thought a bit. What could Opal and Marie do? It hurt Lusaki. So she stopped thinking. Lusaki just looked up at Marie with wide eyes, waiting for something from her, maybe a slap in the face to Claire.
