Jack KingI feel like this couple needs some lovin' It had been countless weeks since Brenda had been able to sit in the forest at night, watching the stars wink at her and the moon float across the sky, listening to the silence and feeling the numbing cold. She normally didn't like being a squirrel in the winter due to her complete exhaustion in that form, but she was letting herself be that fuzzy creature for one night, just one night, tucked away in her little tree cabin, forcing her eyelids to stay open. Brenda wrapped her tail around her tiny body more tightly as a cold draft forced it's way into her dug-out tree fort. She was simply sitting, squirrel form, at the entrance tunnel of her little fort, simply gazing out at the sky and the at the river where she and Jack first kissed off in the distance, as the Academy recovered and rebuilt itself.

(LOL HOW IS HE GONNA FIND HER or maybe she finds him...?)
Jack didn't know why he was back in the forest again. He had absolutely no idea what the status of the viscious assassin Shadow was currently. She could still be at large, killing everyone mercilessly. Shadow could also be on hiatus. But the last time Jack was in the forest, was when she was just in the beginning of her vengeance on the academy. And...for the first time in years...Jack had lost a battle.
The tall young man had found himself deep into the forest, and an unfamiliar feeling of uneasiness settled in the pit of his stomach. Today could be the last day of his life and he wouldn't even know it. Jack furrowed his eyebrows, and sat down on a boulder underneath a tree. He started to bury his face into his arms, the cold air turning his breath into steam. Without meaning to, Jack transformed into a panther, his animal half, and curled up like a normal feline, and almost found himself on the bridge of slumber.
(can this not be a making out thread, instead how about a fluffy love thread)

|Sorry took a while, I have a ton of homework to finish| |That's what I was thinking anyway >.<|
She had almost found herself asleep. Brenda sat up abruptly, bumping her head on the tree tunnel entrance which caused her squeal. Rubbing her head with one little squirrel paw, she cursed herself for not being more careful. Movement below her caused Brenda to become instantly alert. She scurried out onto the branch, peering over the edge with amazing balance, her claws dug into the wood. Jack. Her heart started thumping wildly with excitement. Right away she started descending, making cute little chattering noises to announce herself. Then, when she was about level with the black panther, she attempted to jump town onto his back, flicking her tail in greeting.

Just as Jack felt himself drift off to sleep, he suddenly felt something fluffy brushing along his back. Out of nervousness, which was abnormal for Jack, he transformed back into a human and sat up on the boulder. Jack looked beside him, and saw a small squirrel, but not just a normal squirrel. The small rodent had a cheery disposition to it, one that normal animals would probably not feel while around humans.
Then he had an inkling on who this could actually be.
Jack's eyes twinkled as a smile spread on his face. Desperate to see her again, Jack softly murmured, "Come on, you're not going to stay a squirrel forever, are you?"

It took quite a bit of willpower to stay latched onto Jack's body back shoulder without falling off, but once his shift was complete, which hadrly took much time at all, it was cake; or acorns, who knows. Brenda laughed, which probably sounded more like a menacing chatter to a human's ears. Bounding up on top of Jack's head, she brushed her long tail around his face, teasing him, then curled up in his dark hair.

(sorry for late response!!)
Jack let out a friendly chuckle as Brenda giggled, still in squirrel form. He started to perk up, as the squirrel started to climb up his body and soon conquered him as she reached the top, his messy, black hair. "Well, it looks like you've conquered me!" giggled Jack.
However, Jack was surprised to see a bushy squirrel tail in his face, making him wrinkle his nose, and soon sneezed. "Choo!" the tall boy sneezed. Jack's large smile soon faded into a small and soft smile, as Brenda had yet to change into her human form. "C'mooon Brenda," whined an impatient Jack, "I'm cold and I need hugs!"
(wow jack is a child)

|What is my cat doing...........?|
Again, Brenda rolled her eyes, which was pretty terrifying if you know what a squirrel rolling it's eyes looks like; it's just not natural. With a mighty sigh, the girl jumped off her boyfriend (!?) and shifted into a human, standing there in her warm jeans and puffy green winter coat. "Hey!" Brenda said, attempting to sit in Jack's lap and give him a quick kiss and a warm hug, just as he had asked for.

(i dunno whats it doing)
Jack smiled warmly as Brenda had turned back into a human. "Hey!" As Brenda started to sit on his lap, gave him a quick kiss, and hugged him warmly, Jack started to feel his cheeks grow hot. He wrapped his arms around Brenda, bringing her closer to him. "Hey," Jack replied back.
okay lets see how i can make this romantic and fluffy without getting out of control
Jack felt like he belonged with Brenda, if that doesn't sound creepy, but it just felt...right. The warmth of their hug warmed him, and soon, the icy and snowy air had nothing on him.

Cuddled up next to Jack, things felt as they were supposed to. Yes, the academy was safe again, but there was still the lingering traces of fear and pain that would never be erased from the lives of the students that endured the Reign of the Assassins (ha came up with a name). So somehow, being against someone she loved made Brenda completely at ease.
Hope it's cool that this happens
A snowflake twirled around and settled in Jack's black hair. It was funny seeing it there, the impecible brightness of the whitest white in the history of white don't ask idk against something completely matte. The color black used to frighten Brenda, but something about seeing the pureness of snow settled in something that most would consider the opposite made the girl giggle slightly and attempt to pluck the frozen rain out of his hair and watch it melt against her fingers. Brenda rested her head against Jack's chest, her small frame curled up perfectly in his lap. "I've missed you," she said calmly, her deep hazelnut eyes twinkling against the stars. "I haven't seen you in so long I was worried something might have happened to you. I couldn't possible bare that reality..."

(ACK!!! SUPER SORRY FOR THE LATE REPLY)
Jack felt a blush form on his cheeks as Brenda snuggled up closer to him. He wrapped an arm around Brenda's shoulder, attempting to bring her even closer. "I've missed you," Jack turned his head in the direction of his girlfriend, and smiled, his dark eyes twinkling. "I've missed you too," He replied with the up most honesty.
"I haven't seen you in so long I was worried something might have happened to you. I couldn't possible bare that reality..."
"Don't worry, sweetheart, I've just been hiding out in my dorm. Nothing bad can happen to me in there." replied Jack.

|LOL| Brenda's eyes started to close as she listened to Jack's strong heartbeat, and she knew how alive he was. "Don't worry, sweetheart, I've just been hiding out in my dorm. Nothing bad can happen to me in there." "Perhaps... But I could never be as sure as when I'm in your arms," Brenda responded quietly. She continued to sit quietly, as though she had all the time in the world to spend with the man she loved.

"Perhaps... But I could never be as sure as when I'm in your arms,"
Jack smiled warmly, and attempted to softly kiss Brenda's dark hair. Even though I had said this before as the narrator, the older boy had never felt so sure with someone in his life. It makes sense though, he was raised in a bad neighborhood, surrounded by bad influences, and soon even became a bad influence himself. Hell, when he even came to the academy, he was still the bad self he was raised to be.
But then the only person who encouraged this behavior became worse.
Jack suddenly felt discouraged of his own and past behavior, and soon decided to change. Not only for the safety of others, but for himself and those close to him. And Jack couldn't be happier with how his life is turning out.

Brenda thought of Logan. He was a bad man, whom she had started to fall for despite his behavior. She thought she could make him change and be a better man until she caught the boy with another girl, Rayne, and fled to sulk in the trees. Jack had followed her, concerned, and after a quick discussion about their feelings, they made out kissed under the moonlight, knowing it was true love. A rush of happiness flooded through Brenda at Jack's kiss, and after attempting a quick return peck on his cheek, she shifted into a squirrel again. Playfully, she attempted to run up and down his shoulders, begging him to chase her, then darted up a tree, challenging him to a race.

Just as Jack came back to reality, he noticed Brenda had kissed him on the cheek, and ran up a nearby tree, asking for a race. The boy smirked, and argued playfully, "Aw, but you're gonna win easily..."
Despite whining, Jack transformed into a panther and started to climb up the tree as fast as he could, knowing already that Brenda was way more swift and tiny than Jack's animal: a large panther.

Flicking her tail in encouragement and an edge of mockery, the little squirrel waited for Jack to transform. "To the river!" she announced, bending her legs in anticipation for the leap. "I'll give you a head start, 'k?" Brenda flicked her tail to tell him he could go.

Once Jack had reached the branch Brenda was on, he prepared himself to leap off the branch on her command. "To the river!" The large panther nodded its head, and was about to jump, when suddenly...
"I'll give you a head start, 'k?"
The moment Brenda flicked her tail, Jack leapt from the branch, and ran as fast as he could to the river, probably to comemmorate their first affair.

One nut, two nut, three nut... For as many days as they had been together. By the time Brenda had finished counting, she could barely see the dark black panther slinking through the woods in against the shadows the moon cast on the trees. Her legs bounded off the tree effortlessly as she began skimming the branches, practically flying through them, only faltering once when she had to scurry further up to reach the closest tree. Ahead of her, almst close enough to touch, Brenda could barely make out Jack's form, and the sound of the river washed over her, announcing the nearby finish-line.

(SORRY FOR LATE REPLY)
Jack could hear the sound of rushing water, and knew he was nearing his destination. Once he had reached the river, he silently celebrated his victory, and quickly changed back into a human. Jack swiftly took off his shirt and hoodie, and hopped into the river, wincing slightly when his skin met with the freezing water. It was then that he realized that it was winter, and that he had just jumped in water.
"Ack!" exclaimed Jack as he scurried towards the edge of the river to escape his chance of hypothermia. Trying before anyone could see, he quickly put his shirt and black hoodie back on.

Brenda had narrowly proclaimed her loss. "You only won because of the head start and you know it!" Brenda teased, though she was out of breath so it came in puffs. Perching on a branch hanging over the river, the squirrel watched Jack clamber into the river - and then back out. "Ha!" Brenda exclaimed, laughing her head off, which made her a bit faint after that extreme run, especially on a creature of such small size. "Nice going, Jack!" Her eyes wild with laughter, Brenda shifted into her human form then jumped effortlessly from tree limb to tree limb until she was on the ground once more. "Are you trying to visit the hospital with hypothermia?" Brenda pressed, skipping over to him and attempting to wrap her arms around his neck, a wide grin on her face.

"You only won because of the head start and you know it!"
Jack violently shivered in the midst of the bitter cold, but smirked nonetheless. "Thanks, but I'm afraid that I'm just too fast for this race." arrogantly joked Jack. He knew for a fact that Brenda would've beaten him in the race without the headstart fair and square, but being the person Jack is, he couldn't resist to joke about his victory.
"Are you trying to visit the hospital with hypothermia?"
"N-No! I j-just f-forg-got s-s-somehow..." Jack's teeth started to chatter mercilessesly, and seemed to never slow down. "B-but I s-seriously reg-gret it-t." The panther halfblood closed into himself, and sadly remembered that he didn't have any animal attributes to use to his advantage.

Laughing at his own arrogance and forgetfulness, Brenda leaned into Adam, pressing herself against him to keep him warm. "Then I'll warm you up," She said, closing her eyes against his chest. After a vew seconds, the his coldness made her want to recoil, but she scolded herself for the thought and just tried to hug him tighter. Brenda hardly noticed that she was squeezing awfully hard.
