Opal nodded slightly to acknowledge Lusaki's attack stance, but then reacted by knocking her stick of aim and used the other end to aim another strike to Lusaki's bicep. "If you're going to attack, don't hold back. It's a rhyme. The human brain remembers patterns." Opal was so involved in her ingenious thinking she forgot the stay vigilant.

Lusaki laughed, dodging any attacks. "But I'm not a human!" she grinned. Lusaki then decided to counter and aimed a small, gentle, tap at Opal's side. She didn't really want to hurt her mentor. That part was drilled in her brain.

Lusaki's attempt was a fly, and Opal's response was a giant pesticide. "You're more human than any other half-blood I've met," Opal countered. The mentor/asassan slapped the attack away with the back of her own bo staff, made a 360 as she spun to the ground, and aimed a side-kick, to knock Lusaki off balance.
