The heavy slam of the door behind her reminded Dee why she was in the music room. To sing. She threw her eyes around the room, wondering how the acoustics would be. Setting a CD into a tape nearby and setting it to one of the tracks, she stepped back, and waited for the song to near, the instrumental edition the only thing she heard until her time to start came. Who You Are, by Jessie J. A song that just felt... Right for the time. She put her heart into it, matching every note, every slur, every part of the note close to perfectly, ignorant to the people that she might draw in.
|Idk I feel like this song seems perfect for Diana|

| Lol I think I've just ruined this thread by bringing in this gurl | A curious Sapphire peaked into the music room. She had heard of the new music room and had wanted to check it out- as a different person. She wasn't Marie, with her jumpsuit, mask and katana, she was Sapphire, and she wasn't that scared to admit it anymore. Marie is the assassin, Sapphire is the in-school happy girl, and that was the way she wanted it at the time. She, just in time, held back a laugh, because she found she wasn't the only person in the room. A teenage girl with long white hair was singing to a song Sapphire hadn't heard. Should I go in? She pondered as she stared at the girl from the doorway. Yes. I should. She knocked on the open door to announce her presence. "Sorry to interrupt, but I just couldn't resist coming in!" She smiled. "You have a beautiful voice. It's something you should be very proud of."

Lucky enough, Diana had just finished the song. She clicked the radio off, then turned to face the girl with a smile. "Thanks. I am," Dee gratefully responded. "Do you?.. Want the music room? I can leave, if you want... I mean I only just got here, but.. heh.. yeah. We all need our own time with everything that's going on, huh?"

Sapphire smiled and rolled her eyes playfully. "My voice sounds like a choking cat. I don't need the music room, thanks."
To her, it felt good, having a nice conversation. A real conversation, not one where you're talking about weapons or who's going to kill who. It gave her a piece of reality, a reality where not everyone is murder-crazy. No offense, Opal. She thought, and just barely resisted rolling her eyes again.
"So, what's your name? I'm Sapphire."

A grin spread across Diana's face, and she pulled a chair nearby for Sapphire to sit down in. "I'm Diana. You might here a few people calling me Dee, but that's only occasionally. Anyway, are you knew? I thought I would have seen you, 'cause no offense, and no bragging intended, but people are always coming to meet me. I don't know what's so great about singing but... yeah, anyway, are you new?"

Sapphire sat down in the chair. "Well... I guess I'm kind of new. I've been here a few weeks maybe? I haven't seen you before, so are you new too?" She smiled a simple smile and crossed one leg over the other as she kept eye contact with the girl.

Diana shrugged, sat down beside Sapphire, played with the hem of her sea-shell print knee-length dress. "I've been here a week or so, I suppose," She responded, curling huge white wings around her shoulders to ease off the sudden chill in the room. It's not that cold in here.. So why does it feel... odd..? Dee banished the stupid feeling, ruffled the messed-up feathers of one wing-tip. "So, what half-blood shift are you?" She questioned, smiling.

"Oh, uh... Clownfish." She lied, and glanced down as a fake embarrassment gesture. "It's not a shift I'm very proud of." She looked back up at Diana, and noticed white wings wrapped around her shoulders. "I see your wings there- I'm assuming your a flying animal of a sort?" She grinned.

Dee smiled, trying not to let the odd shift get to her. "I think it's a cool one!" She lied, but she didn't think it was the worst. Clownfish are pretty cool! "NO I'm a SEAL," Diana joked at Sapphires question. She laughed a little, then explained she was half snowy owl. "I hear there's another one at the academy, but I have yet to meet him. He's probably that guy... Eh, Damian, that got pretty ripped up by Shadow."

Sapphire laughed at Diana's joke. It was completely irrational for a seal to have wings. She enjoyed having a normal conversation with a normal person. It was nice to be not considered an assassin. But then again, they didn't know the truth.
"Damian?" The word rung in her head. It sounded familiar, but she knew she hadn't met him before, so she dropped it.
"If he got that ripped up, he's probably still in the hospital. If you really want to meet him, you should try going there." She shrugged. It was her thoughts spoken out loud. If Opal injured this Damian boy really bad, he would probably be in the hospital. It also depended on the day he was injured, and how long it takes him to recover, for how long he will be in the hospital for. It would be interesting if I visited him. Just to see what injuries he got.

"I probably will," Dee agreed, smiling. Time to change the subject. I came her to get the assassins off my head, not on it. "So, what have you been doing around here lately to keep your mind of things? For fun, rather?"

Sapphire thought. What had she been doing to keep her mind off of things? She had injured some people. Eaten in the cafeteria. Slept in her dorm. Gone to the forest. That was pretty much it. "To be honest, not much. I find the forest as my remedy."

The white-haired girl smiled brighter, understanding. "Like me and my singing," She thought aloud, absently smoothing the skirt of her dress down still, bored. |Sorry, I honestly don't know what else to say |

| That's alright. End thread soon? |
Sapphire smiled. "I guess so." She stood up and turned to Diana. "Well, I better get going. I promised my friend I'd meet her out in the forest." Sapphire lied. The conversation had turned dull, and it was probably about time she left anyway. She had just peaked into the room anyways, and wasn't planning for a long-time stay.
"Bye!" She said as she started walking towards the door.

"Yeah, I have to put up some flyers anyway. See you around!" She responded, smiling and waving. She seemed nice.
|Yeah, I don't even know how to make this longer
