Howls of loneliness and sorrow echoed through the forest. The black wolf traveled up the hill, ignoring the annoying underbrush and briars that snagged at his fur. His tail drooped low but he kept it up enough so it wouldn't get caught on anything. Elias made it to the top and walked over to the edge, taking a seat and looking over the forest. The sun was blocked and the sky was a mucky gray color.
The weather didn't make it any better for Elias. It was putting him in a bad mood as well as the torturing going on. Angelica had just passed away and the others were tortured for being half-bloods - for being themselves. Elias wished that he could do more to help. There he was watching from the sidelines like always...

|I'm assuming you want Opal to be in regular outfitting and fake attitude|
What was happening to her? The once power-hungry, vengeance-driven young woman felt like she was wading in oil, and the problems around her were the oil serpents, darting in, pouncing, taunting, greedy to be in control. She was weakening, and she hated it. She wanted to finish what she started, to kill the half-bloods, then rule them into fear and submission. Opal would kill the half-bloods outside the academy, then come back and kill the students, one at a time, saving Logan until sh couldn't bear him anymore - which she only hoped wouldn't happen. She loved him, it was true, but he was rarely around, rarely seen, rarely helping. She felt more alone than ever with allies. Sapphire and Logan seemed to be gone all the time, leaving her to trudge through the slime of regret and the driving through desperate torture on her own. Opal was bored of being normal. She was ready to kill, to show the half-bloods there would be no hope for them. She was to be their queen. And it was, in her mind, the last day she would be seen as an innocent - or at least have to act normal with them - because she wouldn't be spending a lot of time with them once she was in power. A familiar figure, though different in an animalistic way (assuming he's in animal form) was near. Opal approached, black boots, a dark blue dress on (like in profile pic, I suppose), makeup black besides pinkish lip gloss. "Hi," She greeted, not entirely sure why the figure seemed recognizable to her, though keeping her act as a fox half-blood in, appearing as though she recognized his scent.

The wolf looked over his shoulder and rose up to his paws, turning around to face her. The voice was hard to identify as familiar since it was a voice he had rarely heard in a while. A voice he heard once when he met the girl that was approaching him. Hm... he thought and tilted his head. What was her name again..? Elias shifted into his human form and looked to Opal, smiling faintly at her.
"Hey..." It was hard to smile during times like that especially when there was nothing to smile about. He scoffed at the ground with his converse shoes and let out a sigh. His right hand raised up and ran through his black hair. "So, all of this must be a bummer, huh? You hope to escape from it all and it all comes back to ya."

As soon as the filthy half-blood - all half-bloods were to be despised in Opal's eyes - had shifted, she recognized him. She smiled falsely, titling her head to show she really did recognize him. "All of.." It only took a few moments for her intellect to remind her what the boy was referring to. "The whole Shadow thing? Yeah." She shrugged, but inside she was skipping with glee. So they still do fear me? Even if it's just a little, I can work with it... I'll give them a reason to cower at my name.

"Your name is Opal, right?" Elias didn't realize it but he got her name right. It must have been the impression she gave him when they first met. Opal was someone he had to remember, apparently. It was strange. He chuckled deeply to himself and shoved his hands in his pockets. "You seem to be taking it rather well." Maybe Opal wasn't one to get overly dramatic about the situation which was good.
Oh, well. Elias wasn't one to judge if someone was taking the problem well or getting dramatic over it. People thought he wasn't taking it like they were. "I guess I didn't have much contact with humans before coming here. I wonder if Shadow is a human. That might not matter either way. I don't think I will have a burning passion of hate for humans like the others. All of this is still wrong..."

Good. I don't have to enrage over stupidity of mispronouncing my name. "I don't want to say yes, but I don't want to say no. Why would she be working with Logan if she was human?" It was, in fact her thinking allowed slightly. "What would that get her? Just a broken alliance.."
