@damianwright
Jasper through the forest and soon into the mountains. It wasn't as cold as he thought it was up there. He pulled out his journal and wrote more on the snowy owl that he was studying. He had been seeing a snowy owl around the forest, recently, and thought that it might of wondered too far, due to predators or something. He wrote:
"The snowy owl is a very majestic creature, and it is naturally wonderful. They are very amazing as to how they can flap their wings to fly and not make a sound, and that not even a mouse could hear them. They are also very beautifully colored. They have beautiful white feathers and wings, with colorful spots on the back."

[[ Chase, I think you've already gotten the memo, but you can't just make another character and make it the sibling to another without all the other family members explicit permission. I do not think you got Cece's or Rosemary's, so until you do I will be roleplaying under the assumption that Jasper is in fact not their sibling. Please ask next time, and if the other Leerits do not approve, than do not force it and just change the character so that he isn't related to them. ]]
It was true that this snowy owl was particularly good at keeping quiet. In fact, he was quiet enough to sneak up on Jasper and lean over him and watch what he wrote without making a sound. Damian got to read a little bit of it before he smiled and made his presence known.
"So...you like snowy owls, huh?" he teased playfully, stepping in front of Jasper and stretching out one of his white wings. "Then I think you've just met one. Damian Wright, at your service."

Jasper closed his journal quickly and his face flushed with embarrassment. He hated it when people read his journal. "S-So you read that?" He asked. He shook his head and eyed Damian's wings. "Those are magnificent." He said. "You can actually fly with those?" He kept looking at the wings and was tempted to touch them.
"Well, let me introduce myself. Jasper Mako, human, it's good to meet you." He said, giving a playful bow.
(I changed his last name. Also, Jasper doesn't know that half-bloods and humans don't get along.)

"I did read it," he smirked playfully. "It was easy with my eyesight."
"Of course I can fly with them, they'd be kind of pointless and in the way if they didn't work," Damian replied, flapping it slightly to show it could move perfectly fine, but only one so he didn't start flying by accident. It was pretty tiring to fly in human form, anyway. "Thanks."
He saw the way that Jasper was looking at them and folded it back into his back, however. It was a sort of awed look, which Damian hadn't exactly expected. The feathers were sensitive, and before only his parents had been the only ones that touched them...and that was to help with preening when he had been younger. But they weren't around anymore, so...
"A human?" Damian perked up at the comment, it had startled him a bit. "You're a...human?"

Jasper gave a small smile. "I'm usually very... private about my work. You see, after I was in the war, I had to leave Afghanistan because I was shot in the stomach, but that was a year ago, when I was 20." (Jasp is 21). He explained. "I wanted to help anything that could be helped. Animals, other humans, you half-bloods now that I've met you. I write about animals in my free-time, but have a deal with the government, so that they'll grant me more land for any species I want to protect." He began looking at Damian with a puzzled look, and wondered why he looked so startled at the mention that he was human.
"Yes, I'm human. Why does that seem to bother you? Do half-bloods not like humans?" He asked, puzzled.

"Not particularly, no," Damian murmured, stepping a bit away from Jasper and pressing his lips together in a thin line. "And I don't think that you are helping anyone by shooting at them in a war." The thin line turned into a visible frown, Jasper seemed like somebody with good intentions, however Damian was not liking the way he went about it. Unconsciously, his wings folded themselves in tightly, pressing themselves into his back.
"Going to war is not how I would describe my idea of helping anyone," Damian mentioned, trying to keep his voice calm. "If you are a human you should not be here. I have no quarrel with you but if others find out, they won't be so forgiving."

Jasper let out a frown. "Yes, well I was younger, when I went to war. To me, life was a game, and all I thought about was being in the war, and coming back, everybody calling me a hero. But being shot actually opened up my eyes. I began to see that life was important, something for everyone to enjoy, and that you should cherish every last moment of it, because in the blink of an eye, it could be gone," He said. "Well, Damian. You seem like a good person, so I don't think you'd hurt me. I trust you not to tell anyone my secret."

Damian stuffed his hands in his pockets, keeping distance from Jasper, using alert eyesight to see if he had a gun or weapon on him. You couldn't be careful. Cecelia had earned his trust from the beginning, but somebody who had went to war and even killed people was going to take a little more adjusting to.
"I won't, unless you show me you are a risk to anyone here," Damian said. "Others are not so forgiving, you might want to keep the fact that you are human under wraps."
"What's so important to bring you here, anyway?"

"Dude, I'm not a risk." He said. His eyes lit up. "Oh yeah, what brought me here. Well I was looking for my younger sister, Cecelia Leerit." Then he remembered. "Oh yeah. The last name Mako, is a code name."

"You would say that," Damian said. "But I'm not inclined to believe you for any rea-"
It was then the words clicked in his head. Cecelia had a brother...? The last name Mako being a 'codename' was rather convenient as well.
"You're not a risk yet you don't seem to trust me with basic stuff life your real last name, huh?" Damian countered. "Who told you about the Academy?"

"Yeah, well I don't trust anyone with my last name. People are out to get me." He said, quietly. He shook his head and put his hands in hos jeans' pockets. "Well, I heard about the academy from Cecelia, she talked to me on Skype. I sometimes got connections in Afghanistan." But then he remembered something. "Wait a minute, Damian Wright? Cece always talked about you. She said how you're so nice, and funny, and happy, all the time."
