Feliciano loved gardens. He loved anything pretty, anything brightly colored, because it reminded him of home. The streams running through the garden reminded him of the canals in Venice, the bright flowers of the colorful plants and houses. Where better to get inspiration to draw than from the place that reminded him of home?
He had brought his sketchpad with him, since the cat half-blood had been hoping to draw a bit. The paints were in the art room...he couldn't exactly get to them since he didn't have Art Class today. He found a small bench to sit on and sat down, admiring the sounds of the greenhouse. With a tap of a pencil to paper, he drew.
Nothing too fancy, just sketches of bridges, canals, narrow boats, pictures of Venice. Of home. He missed it. It was safer for him in America...but he longed for the day he could go back home.
"Ve...Feli you got to make some friends!" he commented to himself. "No use in crying over Italy when I can have fun here too!"

Rosemary tapped the boy's left shoulder twice. "How about me? I'm Rosemary, and I'm a cat half-blood. How about you?"
She was just roaming the garden for fun when she heard the boy talking and approached him.

"Oh!!! Another cat!" Feliciano smiled brightly, turning around so he could face the girl. "I am too! Well, I don't have cat ears or a tail, but I'm still a cat!" Feliciano set his sketchpad down beside him, practically forgetting it since he was usually that forgetful.
"My name is Feliciano Vargas!" he chirped.

"Pish, posh! The only thing about me is that I have crazy red hair and cat ears!" Rosemary wore a grin that stretched from ear to ear (not literally). "It's amazing, though, that you're a cat. I don't know anyone else at the Academy that is a cat. I'm glad to know one of my own species."

"I haven't met any other cats either!" Feli hopped slightly. "I mean, I have a brother, but he's a..." He had come very close to saying "human". It was true, though. Lovino was a human...and being here put him in danger. Feliciano's bright smile slipped off his face for just a moment before he shook his head and regained his charm.
"You are very pretty, bella~" he complimented cheerfully. "Are you liking the academy so far? I just got here a little while ago."

Rosemary noticed Feliciano's smile drift off. "He's a half-blood? He's a human?" Rosemary guessed words to complete his sentence. "I know a ton of half-bloods! I also know a human! She's really nice so I don't get concerned about her." She smiled a soft, tiny, shy smile.
But when he complimented her, her smile rose. "Why thank you! I love the academy! Everyone is so nice, generally. I have generally kind friends and a great boyfriend. My life is like, perfect here! And I just love new students, so maybe I could show you around sometime!"

Feli shook his head, hoping to shake off the whole topic. "No, he's just really grumpy and rude sometimes," he said innocently. "Well...a lot of the time. And he's not a cat, so you're the first one I've met!"
"Ve~ That would be nice! I'm still not to good at getting around," he replied. "I'm glad you're having fun here!"

"How 'bout a tour tomorrow? I don't think I have any events to attend, and I love nature, so I'd love another take around the school." She offered to Feliciano. |

"That'd be really nice!" Feli replied happily. "And I've only been in the forest once...it wasn't the most fun, I made a new friend but he's a little...eh..." Feliciano frowned a bit as he tried to come up with a word that didn't sound too mean. "...I'm not sure how to describe him very well."
"Maybe you've met him?" he asked. "I think his name was...Logan? Yeah! Logan, that's his name. Though I don't think he's made a good impression on a lot of the people here, I really think he's trying to change."

I have bad memories of him; he's one scary guy I definitely didn't expect to come back." A frown arose on her face, remembering the pain she felt. Feli sighed. "Yeah, I thought I might get that reaction a lot...the problem is I think I'm the only one he's really opened up to and that hasn't been afraid of him yet," he explained. "And I can't just leave him now! He wouldn't trust anyone else after that..." Feliciano visibly frowned, then his eyes widened as he realized what Rosemary might think was going on.
"N-no! Don't worry! He didn't hurt me or anything, see?" he spun around a bit as if it would help prove his case. Then he stuck out a thumbs up and smiled. "Io sono totalmente bene! I'm just trying to help him..."

"Well maybe I can hope!" Feli shot back, getting a bit angry at Rosemary. "It's not all his fault anyway! He's done bad things but if we try to help him I think we can do him a lot of good!" He huffed angrily before grabbing his sketchpad off the bench and storming away.
"Goodbye, Rosemary," he called over his shoulder, trying to keep his voice kind though he was struggling. "I hope you have a nice day!"
