@wolfboy)
As soon as Maddie caught sight of the forest she broke out into a full run towards it. Forgetting that Elias was with her she shifted in mid-run and disappeared into the forest.
Heart pounding in her ears and excitement boiling through her veins the light ginger an white Siberian Husky dodged and weaved through the trees at top speed.
Maddie loved being in her animal form. It was more comfortable then being human. Panting heavily the husky jumped up onto a rock on a hilltop and gave a long howl.

Elias was humming happily to himself while walking next to the girl. Winchester wanted to go to a place where she could turn into her animal shift. He didn't expect her to run off on her own. "H-Hey! ...Wait for me!" he called after her. Winchester was ignoring him or she wasn't paying attention. Either way it was kind of the same. He gulped and started to run after her. She's not listening to me... The boy turned into his animal shift. It was a greyish black wolf with a brown eye and a blue eye. He lost sight of the girl so he didn't know what animal he was looking for. The wolf panted and took a look around. Where did she go? he asked himself. His ears perked forward and he went running towards the howl coming from the hilltop. Elias slowed his pace when he arrived at the hilltop. "Hey, Winchester? Don't go running off like that. You could get lost out here."

She turned her head and two sapphire eyes stared right back at him. "Animal instincts." Was her only reply as she returned to look at the sky. She lied down and rate. Her head on her paws. But her eyes took on a shadowed and sorrow filled gleam

Yeah. Their "animal instincts" were blamed for whenever they got mad, sad, or even hunger for students that are prey animals. It was always easier to just blame something you can't control then to blame it on your own actions. So, her animal shift was a husky. One of the wolf's closest related ancestor. "Well, you acted like a wolf owning the forest but you are a husky.. The husky is one of the closest ancestors to wolves." Elias walked up and sat down next to Winchester, and he reminded himself to give her the personal space she needed. He would feel awkward if someone got in his personal space. "Do you feel better now?"

She closed her eyes. "Slightly yes...and the reason I act as I do..I was raised by a wolf pack since I was little." She replied with a sigh. Her ears flattening on her head.
"They where slaughtered by Hunters." She shivered at the memory. A pitiful whine leaving her throat.
You could see between her animal an human form the differences. As her human form had a barrier to protect herself, Maddie's animal form was more submissive thanks to her time in a pack which had branded into her being like second nature to obey.

The wolf sat there and watched over the area while sitting on the hilltop. It felt nice having something to watch over. Elias liked it whenever it was peaceful and quiet. It meant that everything was okay at the moment. He nodded as Winchester told him that she was raised by a wolf pack. His tail flicked and he looked over at the pretty husky. "Please... You didn't have to tell me that." He didn't mean to pressure her with anything personal. Elias let out a sigh and stared at her. His eyes softened with worry and care for Winchester. "I'm sorry.."

She shook her head slightly. "It's fine. I seem to be more talkative in this form." She mumbled with a soft huff. "I've always been told it's better to let it out. I've been keeping it in for a few years." She turned her head over to look at him with big innocent yet pain filled eyes.

I wonder if this is true. Maybe Winchester is telling me this because her animal form holds her true self. Is this the real Winchester? Elias nodded, agreeing that it was best to let it out. If you hold it all in, eventually you will explode. "U-Um... Yeah." The wolf was flustered at the look Winchester gave him. His fur grew hot and he glanced away from her, trying to hide it even though Winchester wouldn't be able to tell since he was blushing underneath his fur. "Well, that's good that you decided to let it out. I'm always a person you can talk to about things like that. I may not actually know what it's like but.. I'm a good listener."

She gave a soft hum of agreement before falling silent. Her eyes gazing across the land. "I miss them. My pack, they where fierce protectors and stern. But they had a kinder side that only the members of the pack could see." She chuckled slightly. "I befriended one of the pups of the Alpha's and we got really close. To the point that I became a member of the Alpha's family. Regardless of my lack of wolf blood they treated me like their own." She sighed.
"If I had a choice I'd stay as this form forever." She stated with a wishful tone.

Honestly, Elias was a good listener because he wouldn't know what to say. He would also listen out of respect for the person talking. His ears perked up and he moved his head, looking back to the husky. The way she talked about her pack... He could tell that she must've loved them dearly. That made him think about his little pack. Stan, Mabel, and Grant... They meant everything to him. It was true that they were not his real family, but they were there for him and made him feel like family. He actually believed they would cry if he passed away, which wouldn't surprise him if he dropped dead at any minute, considering his health history. It wasn't looking too good. A frown appeared on the wolf's face and he shook it away.
That was Maddie's choice. Elias liked being both a human and a wolf. But, if it came down to it, which one would he pick? The life of a human or a wolf... That wouldn't happen but if it did, Elias would choose the wolf. For some reason, he felt more in touch with his human side but his wolf side always called out to him. He wanted to explore it and see what he really thought about it. It didn't matter much to him anyway. Elias was just thankful for life. "You know, you could stay in that form forever. Just stay the way you are. It's not like anyone forced you to shift into your human form. You could live out here where you feel at home. Or, is that not allowed?"

She chuckled. "I would. But I'm not sure I'm allowed." She turned to look at him with curiosity. "Which do you think is more dominant in a Halfblood? Human or animal?" She asked.
