The sky was dark. A inky midnight color with sparkling and twinkling stars. A full moon was casting a eerie glow across the forest. All the animals were asleep and cozy and warm in their dens and nests. All except the night creatures. Through the darkness flashed a pair of glowing green eyes illuminated by the feeble light. A white ghostly figure ran along through the trees. Paw steps crunching in the fallen leaves of autumn. The cold breeze ruffling bee soft and eerily glowing white fur as her ears perking up to listen to any sounds. She could hear a pair of soft footsteps that could only belong to the graceful creature called the deer. Quickly the white shewolf stalked her lone pray. She could sense and smell that this wasnt a student of the academy so she was alright to hunt it. Quickly she darted forward and launched herself at the doe. Jaws snapping tightly onto its neck and used her body weight to yank the frightened deer down to the ground. It's neck snapping with a harsh snap. The white shewolf said a quick prayer for the deer's life before dragging the deer to a more open place. Over looking a ledge and seeing the lake view Angelica. In her wolf form settled down to eat her prey. @wolfboy Grant Bixby

"Nice catch, miss An-gel-i-ca." a voice teased the white wolf's name in a playful tone. The greyish black wolf stepped out into the open-spaced area where the she-wolf had decided to dine on her beautiful catch. Mmm~ Deer. It was a favorite amongst most wolves. Hey, they make jerky out of it and humans love it, too. Elias was just messing with Angelica like always. It started when they first met on his first day at Animalia. He liked picking on her because she would get back at him for it. That nickname, though. It didn't sound right to him at first and he grew to really like that name, although, he would nag at Angelica for calling him that.
The wolf trotted over to Angelica and sat down, watching her feast on the deer. "You better be glad you ran into me. I'm a nice wolf unlike some of the savage beasts out here. They would take you down and steal that precious deer of yours." he said and looked at the deer. "Is it strange that sometimes I can't even eat meat? I love it so much... but it comes from such an innocent and beautiful animal." Elias blessed the deer for giving up its life so Angelica wouldn't starve. "It's only fair that we respect our prey for giving up its life so we don't starve. But, maybe that's just me..."

Her ears perked up at the voice and her head shot up. Green eyes pinned on the lone figure as he came up. She growled at him. "Oh hush Pup!" She huffed licking the blood that stained her muzzle as she watched him. "I'm well aware of the dangers of wild life. It's not my first rodeo." She looked down at the deer. "I understand you don't like killing innocent creatures like deer. But it's for survival. Circle of life. You eat what you can get." She stated firmly.
Angel wondered how a wolf like Elias doesn't like killing. He was a wolf right? It was part of life. "What are you doing here anyways? I thought you'd be sleeping like everyone else." She commented returning to her meal.
