In this version of Earth, there are several people who are more powerful than you or me. They have special abilities that we will never have.
All of us have a spirit, an aura. But none of us thought that it would get this far.
Now there are humans who have somehow accessed parts of their auras we never could before, and were granted with powers none of us ever thought possible.
Most people call them "The Evolved" but some call them "The Tainted."
So far we have maintained mostly peace, under the requirement that none of the Evolved would use their supernatural abilities. However, the rebellions are becoming stronger and humans are starting to protest against them. Trying to keep the peace is becoming harder, and if we do nothing, any chances of regaining unity with the Evolved will collapse. Some suggested a new tactic.
A training Academy. Where the Evolved could learn to control their powers to keep others safe, as opposed to putting them at risk. A hidden Academy to protect the new generation of people with strange abilities while they trained. Humans know about it, but for the safety of the students, the location has been kept secret by the Government and by all others who know about it.
Their hope is that one day the Evolved and the Norm will be able to once again live together in peace.
