Zachary was walking alone in the forest, any remnants of a smile uncharacteristically not on his face. Behind his neon green glasses, his eyebrows were furrowed together in a serious expression, one of worry and urgency, all rolled up into one at the same time. It was strange to see such an expression like that on his face, but while he was alone he didn't see the point in keeping up the act anymore. Why bother if nobody was around to see it, anyway? It's not like he would be around much longer anyway. Some girl named Rosemary Jackson had taken a sample of his blood. God knew why, or what for. Her excuse was a lie, that much was obvious, but whatever it was going to be used for, his secret would be found out. His time was ending soon anyway. He wasn't particularly close to anyone in the school, there wasn't anyone that would vouch for him to be kept alive. What was the point, anyway? Nothing better was waiting for him back home, anyway. Zack stopped wandering aimlessly and looked around, trying to remember how to get back to the dorms from here. Nowadays he was getting much better at mapping the terrain, but he simply didn't have the will to head back at the moment. He let a sigh escape his lips and leaned against a tree. Maybe he'd get lucky and there wouldn't be anyone outside today. How likely was that, though?

Eh, not very much. Now come on, when were half-bloods NOT in the forest? It makes up most of their natural habitat. Anyways, Aria was in the forest that day, flying around in her hawk form. She stopped to rest at a tree branch (a thick one) and turned back into a human. Aria moved the hair in her face behind her ear, and leaned against the trunk of the tree.
Before, Aria decided that she should get some excercise that day, and didn't want to go to the gym. Mostly because Adam had told her about Logan. Aria didn't really feel like getting beat up today, so she went to the forest. It was much more peaceful, than the gym. No one wants to hear the grunting of the men lifting weights! It sound like they're constipated!
Crunch. The sound of leaves and twigs breaking made Aria jerk. Someone's actually here?! She was relieved when she saw that it was just Zack. It made her happy to see an old friend. Aria pushed herself off the tree branch and said, "'Sup Zack!"

Zachary looked up and almost jumped as he realized somebody was in the tree. Soon he recognized the brown hair, though, and he sighed in relief. He pushed his glasses up and put a smile on his face that lit it up. His cheerful aura returned, effectively masking the fact that moments earlier he had been sulking. He was too used to doing this to notice how strange it was for it to be so easy for him to switch into his clueless attitude.
"Hey!" he waved back. "You scared me. I wasn't expecting to see anyone else out here. Watcha doing?"

(Lol)
"I wanted to get a little exercise, but I didn't want to go in the gym." explained Aria. She pointed at Zack in the shoulder and said, "What are you doing here?"
(now this is a pathetic post i dunno what else to say)

Zachary shrugged his shoulders, still smiling. "Wandering, wondering," he answered, pushing up his glasses yet again. He did seem to do that quite a bit...he supposed it was a habit? "At least I don't get lost so much anymore," he continued. "I used to loose my way here all the time. I don't quite remember how many times I had to ask for help at this point."
"Was that ever a problem for you at all?" he asked. "I feel like I'm probably having more problems with it than anyone else, but mice don't tend to stray too far from their burrows, maybe that's why."
