Dark moon (p)

It only felt like the couple was drifting apart. Maybe they were. It had been too long since the last time Diablo and Angelica saw each other. Things had become quite hectic since then. The couple arranged plans to meet with each other again after so long, but it was bad luck that they missed each other every time. School kept the two busy, and it was mostly Diablo's fault. He felt like Angelica needed some space after what happened to Kevin. He knew that Angelica's friends would be able to help her through it more than he could. Diablo was only a distraction for Angelica at the moment. A distraction to keep her mind off of things. The wild cat had been worried about her the whole time and yet he refused to see her. She probably hated him and found someone else.

Maybe that would be a good thing. Diablo opened the door and stepped into the greenhouse, closing the door behind him carefully. It was sad that the boy couldn't even remember the face of his first love. He regretted distancing himself from Angelica for so long. He took his sweet time walking through the garden and looking around the inside. There was a girl that appeared ahead of him. His only silver-grayish eye widened, and he hesitated as he stared at the girl. Long, snowy white hair and those deep green eyes.... Diablo walked towards the girl step by step with a shocked expression on his face. No way.... He reached out for her and attempted to wrap his arms around her, pulling her close to him.

"Ang-Angelica! It's really you.."

Diablo was smiling and tears of joy rolled down his cheeks. The boy had become very scrawny over the past few months. Angelica got him bad. That was all he could think about, and it didn't help his appetite that much. He was a wreck, but he still didn't do anything about it. Angelica pulled away, although, Diablo didn't want to let go of her. He was afraid he would lose her again. He let go of her because he didn't want to appear to be too clingy. His smile faded, and he looked down at the ground, scoffing at it with his shoes. "I've missed you but no... I didn't know you would be here. I'm..." he sighed and looked up into Angelica's eyes. "I'm sorry for what I did to you."

Diablo opened his mouth to say something, but he was at a lost for the right words to turn everything back around. Even so, there was most likely nothing he could say to make Angelica forgive him. It was okay. She had the right to be furious with him. "You're right. I hid like a coward. I've never been good with showing much feelings of sympathy for anyone. But, I did make a promise and I broke it. I have no excuse for this..." Diablo was sure that I'm sorry meant nothing to Angelica anymore especially coming from his mouth. They were just words without much meaning.

He blamed himself for ever letting her close to him because he knew he would hurt her in the end anyway. He had to admit that he sort of saw it coming. The day they would see each other again, and Diablo would be pointed out for what he did. He bit his lower lip and growled underneath his breath in disgust of himself. "I warned you since the beginning of us. I can't share my feelings for someone else like this. I've never been taught to love someone properly. I still have feelings, though.... And with the closest human feelings I have, I'm deeply sorry for everything. This is just who I am." Diablo scoffed at the ground one more time before he turned and walked off.
