The moon was high in the night sky and a little girl wondered the empty school grounds. Liliana's long golden hair was pulled back into a ponytail which was held by a beautiful white ribbon. She drew the soft locks of hair to the side and gently began to brush it. Her bright blue eyes looked up to the sky as a gentle midnight breeze ruffled her white nightgown. It was very unladylike to be walking on school grounds in her sleeping clothes, but she was in a daze. She had a nightmare, the day her world shattered. The knife and the endless stream of crimson blood. Stopping in the middle of the courtyard, Liliana's stopped walking and reached her soft pale hand to her cheek. She felt a warm tear drop slip from her eyes. Once one fell, the other followed. It was so hard to smile. The memories seemed so strong. The scream and cry of her mother echoed in her head as if was happening right in front of her once more. Dropping down the ground, she covered her gaze and began to sob. She promised to smile, but it was growing to be more and more of a challenge. Liliana's mask was starting to break.

The boy turned around the corner and caught himself before he could be seen by the mysterious girl in the white nightgown. He pulled himself back around the corner and peeked out from behind it, blinking his dark blue eyes at the girl. "Uh?!" he gasped slightly and a cold shiver crawled up his spine like a spider on the run. Who the heck was she? Heck, she looked like one of those ghost girls from a horror movie with her white nightgown on. The moonlight hit the girl's face just right, and she was quite... enchanting to the boy. Her long golden hair, bright blue eyes, a flowing white nightgown, and little white wings. Wait a minute... A blonde girl appearing to be younger than Luka with blue eyes and white bird wings that looked like the wings of an angel.
It was Liliana! But, what was Liliana doing up in the middle of the night in her pajamas while standing in the courtyard? Luka came out from hiding and started towards the girl. He froze in his tracks after he felt like there was something wrong. Liliana looked like she was crying. That didn't seem right. The bubbly girl was always happy when Luka saw her. Well, he only saw her once but she gave off that vibe where she is always happy like any other little kid. Luka had a hard time deciding if he should talk to her or not. Maybe I should leave.. I don't want to be nosy, and she could be sleepwalking... with her eyes open maybe? His gaze softened, and he started to walk towards her again. "U-Um... Liliana?" he said as he walked up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Why are you.. crying?"

Liliana let out a gasp as she felt someone's hand upon her shoulder. Quickly turning to Luka, she let out a scream of terror. Swinging her hand out, she tried to push Luka away from her. White wings gave a powerful flap and caused a gust of wind. The delicate ribbon that held her soft golden locks came upon and glided on the wind. Liliana's long hair began to blow in front of her terrorized face. The small fragile body of Liliana was trembling with fear.
The faced of the human men kept on flashing in her mind. Their evil grins, the angry words, and the cried of joy as her mother fell to the ground bleeding. Liliana was petrified.

"Wha- Ahh!" Luka stumbled backwards from the powerful push Liliana gave him. He stumbled back and tried to get evenly balanced. Unfortunately, the gust of wind hit him in the chest and knocked the air out of him, leaving him with a shocked expression on his face. The boy lost balance and his feet slipped out from underneath him, causing him to fall down on his bum hard. I knew I shouldn't have messed with her while she was sleepwalking! Ugh, that really hurt! Half-bloods were ten times stronger than humans. Luka could endure it but it was still quite the push.
What was happening!? Did he do something to make her upset? No... it had to be something else. Luka shifted into his raccoon dog form since he weighed more in his animal form than his human form. Surely, he could hold his ground in his animal form. The raccoon dog held on for his life and tried to push through the gust of wind. He looked up at the bird half-blood with innocent brown eyes, hoping to calm her down soon before she could even get the idea of going on a wild rampage. "C-Come on, Liliana. Calm down and we can talk about whatever is bothering you."

Liliana placed her hands on her face, covered her closed eyes. The strong grip of her sister that held her wrist and the force she used to drag Liliana through the forest. The sight of her mother's bleeding body growing smaller and smaller as the forest devoured the two little girls. The shouts and cries of the perusing men echoing in her head. Liliana's heart began to race as she recalled the pounding sound of human footsteps. Liliana covered her ears with her hand and fiercely shook her head.
Then the sounds began to fade and a warmth developed around her. It was the arms of Lola, that's right. Her sister held her tight as the two cried alone in the forest. Then, the memory of her sister began to fade as she recalled that her sister was also dead.
Liliana's raging wings began to settle and fold. Liliana's slowly opened to have a blurry vision. Her knees began to give out from under her. Slowly, she began to tumble to the ground unconscious.
