As usual, the bus was going back and forth from the academy to the human world and back to the academy. It seemed like new students were coming into the academy every day. The boy rested his head on the window, staring out the window lazily with his dark blue eyes. He straightened up and reached into his pocket, digging out a pamphlet the academy made to give the students an idea of where they would be staying for the school years. There was a picture of the school on the cover. Luka opened it up and started to read it, reaching the point to where it said that the school was only meant for half-bloods. No humans were allowed. He chuckled and shoved the thing back in his pocket when he really just wanted to throw it out the window but that wouldn't be very smart.
A human could walk on by and see it lying on the ground. They really are stupid. Of course, it's only for half-bloods if they really are so secretive about it. You can't get more obvious than that. What did they think? Did they think one could accidentally get sent to a human? Then, the human would probably go off telling everyone where the half-bloods were hiding. Luka let out a sigh and rested his head against the window again. So, they are really going to protect us, huh? It doesn't matter... I will not let my guard down. I will keep on getting stronger no matter what. An hour went by and Luka ended up falling asleep. The bus almost went past the school, and it jerked to a stop. Luka was flung forward and awoken from his sleep. "Aye! What's the big idea!?" The boy groaned and grabbed his backpack, walking up to the front of the bus and getting off the bus. Lousy bus driver...

Liliana was flying over head, her pale white hand above her blue eyes searching. She was looking for Rosemary, as of late she seemed really gloomy and Liliana didn't want to see that. Many times, she found Rosemary greeting students at the bus stop so the dove figured she would try there. Flying down to the bus stop, her pink shoes made a tapping sound as they hit the ground. Her thick golden curly locks were pulled back into a swirly bun on the back of her hair. She had on a cute pink dress that had a lining of bows at the bottom.
Lost in her search for Rosemary, she wasn't paying attention to where she was walking and ran right into someone. Surprised, Liliana began to stumble towards the ground. She let out a cute little grunt as she hit the ground. "Ow...." Liliana rubbing her soar bun.

Honestly, they were both to blame. Luka was also not paying attention, and he turned to walk in the right direction where the two collided. "Oof!" he grunted and stumbled backwards in shock. Seriously! What was up with him getting hit by things today? First, he was flung into the seat in front of him on the bus and then he bumped into a little girl. Luka wasn't one for apologies. He always tried to blame someone else for messing up. But, he knew that he was guilty for not paying attention to where he was going. A light blush appeared on his face, and it started to fade when he looked down at the girl. Wow.. She's really cute. There was no doubt that Liliana would be breaking a bunch of hearts left and right once she was old enough to date. Luka looked around in a panic before he looked back at the girl. He laughed nervously and took a few steps toward the girl, extending out his hand so she could take it. "H-Hey, are you okay? You're not hurt, are you?"

Her bright blue gaze slow raised and gazed upon a new face. This boy she had never seen before and she was good about remember faces. Looking at his hand, she smiled sweetly. Placing her soft pale hand in his, she was lifted from the ground. She began to dust of her dress and looked at him as he asked if she was well. Looking over her shoulder, she gave her little white wings a few flaps making sure they still worked. Seeing that they were well she smiled cheerfully, "Yup! Sorry about bumping into you I was looking for my friend. Clumsy me." Liliana gave a little pat on her head and made a silly face.
"You must be new here, I'm Liliana. Some people call me Little Dove thought, call me whatever you like."

It was ready no big deal. Luka acted tough and cool on the outside but he had a good heart. He was relieved that the girl took his hand, and he pulled her up onto her feet. Her hand was so small compared to his.. and it was so soft! The little angel looked so delicate and innocent. It would break his heart if she got hurt because of him. Luka watched the little girl give her wings a few flaps. His blush came back, and it was a darker shade of pink. S-So cute! He realized that he was blushing and gasped slightly, crossing his arms and turning away from Liliana.
Oi... That was close. He almost lost it there. His blush started to fade away, and he glanced back at her a little bit. "Um... yeah." he said as if he was saying it was okay that she bumped into him. It was an accident, and he wasn't paying attention either. He took a deep breath before he turned around to face the girl. His hands fell back to his side, and he blinked at the girl. "Uh.. I'm Luka." he rolled his eyes and tried to wave it off. "No. I'm not really into the nicknames. Liliana would be just fine. I will call you that and nothing more." Little Dove was actually a very cute name, but Luka was trying to show her that he wouldn't fall for her little act of cuteness. "And, I expect the same from you as well. Call me Luka and only Luka. Got it?"

Liliana noticed that he had turned away, but before he did she saw his face flush pink. She gave a cute curious look, a look of confusion. Was he not feeling well? Did he have a fever? Those thoughts faded away as he turned back to her with his face normal. Liliana shook her head, many she was seeing things. Perhaps it was the way the sun hit is face it made his face seem colorful. Oh well. When he talked about only calling her by her name, she didn't mind. This name was given to her by her mother whom she loved and praised very much. No came could compare to such a beautiful name. Thought, she giggled when he was being all serious, for some reason she felt it was fake or an act. "Alright Luka, it's very nice to meet you." Look at him with her bright pure blue eyes, she smiled sweetly.

Luka looked confused but decided to go along with it. Liliana was being very nice to him. It was a little bit too strange for his liking. He sort of expected her to protest back because of the way he was talking to her. No way... Did she actually see through him? Was she suspicious of him acting that way so he would look cool or something? Calm down, Luka. She's just a little kid. There's no way she could've figured it out that easily. Oh, well. It didn't really matter if she found out. Nothing would happen. No... something would happen.
Luka tried to remain calm as memories came back to him. Memories of being called a tanuki, even though that was what he was. But, the kids his age said it in such a hurtful way. The girls thought his animal form was adorable, and he didn't like that. He hated it! He wanted to get stronger and prove them all wrong. I'm not cute! I'm not cute! I wish everyone would stop saying that. "Y-Yeah... nice to meet you too." An awkward silence went by and Luka sighed, shoving his hands in his pockets. "So, do you know where the cafeteria is? I'm hungry..."

Liliana nodded her head, "Yup, follow me!" The little girl turned and began to walk in the direction of the cafeteria. She had only been her a few days but she was really getting the hang of directions. Thought, she had her moments were she always got lost. Most likely because she wasn't paying attention to where she was going and her mind wondered to something else. At times like that she would just end up walking without having a clue where she was going. That's why Lola always held her hand and would lead the way so Liliana was free to let her mind wonder.

Luka followed after Liliana and walked up to her side with his hands shoved in his pockets. The little girl was okay as long as she didn't try to get him caught up in her cuteness act. That could be pretty annoying. It still bothered him that she wasn't a little heart broken to hear that he wasn't buying it. Maybe it wasn't an act. It could be real and that she was just naturally cute. No, there was no way! No one could be that cute so naturally. If it was an act, then she would try to get everyone to think she was cute. EVERYONE! The boy remained silent and continued to follow the girl, even though he just wanted to get ahead of her and walk the rest of the way by himself. I hope she knows where she's going.. I don't feel like walking around in circles with a little kid. It would drive him crazy especially if she was acting cute while they were stranded in the building, having no sense of direction.

Liliana smiled as she came upon the building she had been searching for. She didn't have anything else in mind so she knew where she was walking and how she was going to get there. Gazing over her shoulder, she smiled sweetly at Luka, "Here we are! Let's go in get some food!" Without a word from Luka she walked into the building and looked around. The area was rather larger and filled with the wondrous scent of food. "So what are you going to eat Luka?"

(Should we make a new thread in the cafeteria?)
Surprisingly, they arrived at the cafeteria without a problem. Wow.. We actually got here faster than I thought. That impressed him because most little kids are in their own world to remember stuff like that. Well, maybe not. If they didn't remember where the cafeteria was, they would be hungry until they got the chance to ask someone where it was. Always remember your source of food! Luka smiled back at Liliana because he felt like it was the nice thing to do, and he kind of felt like smiling a little bit. "Great. I'm starving!" he said and stretched his arms out, letting out a yawn. He was still kind of sleepy from that nap he took on the way there. Luka looked back to where Liliana was standing only to realize she wasn't there anymore. "Uh! Liliana!" He peeked into the cafeteria and noticed Liliana was already across the room. "L-Liliana! Wait for me." he called after her and walked over to her. Well, there was no doubt she had a short attention span like a kid should have. He frowned at her slightly and said, "You really shouldn't go walking off like that."
