The raven haired teen made her way into the gymnasium. Taking off her black trench coat leaving her in black jeans, combat boots and tank top. She rolled her shoulders stretching them and relaxing. Swiftly pulling her long hair into a pony tail. She slipped off her boots and went into a corner with room before testing out her strength. She used to be a gymnast when she was younger but she hasn't done stuff like that in ages.
But this whole thing with Logan was really starting to tick her off. She was human granted and unable to withstand full force of a half blood in animal form. But she'd go down with a fight. She guessed by now that some people were suspicious about her. Like Logan and @livelovedie. But she couldn't help it. Sooner of later her secret would be out and god knows what would happen. So she needed to be ready if she was ever attacked again.
Moving swiftly she ran towards the wall and kicked off of it. Doing a backflip but landed wobbly. Grunting at the impact she clenched her hands and shook it off. She tried again with the same results. If she was going to protect herself she needed to step up her game. First step was to test her strength. And see how flexible she could be at different angles to dodge whatever flew at her.
She was so into her 'training' she didn't hear someone coming up.

Luke strolled through the academy, his black hoodie covering his head. His grey trainers made no noise as he whisked past the Cafeteria, then the corridors, then the stairs leading up to the dorms. Blinking, he turned on his sharp hearing and heard some noise coming from a back door. Luke turned around, pushed it open slightly and peeked in.
It was a Gym. He should've known. Every academy should have a gym, right? Luke almost slipped out again until he realised who the person was. "Hey, Serenity! Nice flip!" The hawk halfblood called, taking a hand out of his pocket and waving slightly. "How've you been?" |

Not knowing anyone was here and hearing a voice of out the blue surprised her making her fall on her butt with a surprised and painful sound. She looked over towards the doors and spotted the bird half blood. She hesitantly returned the wave. Don't get her wrong. She may understand the kid somewhat with his duo persona. But it doesn't mean she isn't still wary of him. She didn't want to trigger him and trying to hurt her like last time.
Serenity rose to her feet and stretched her sore muscles. "Hi Luke. Everything's ok....well as ok as it can be I suppose." She replied walking to her stuff and grabbed a water bottle and took a gulp. "W-what are you doing here?" She asked him cautiously.

Luke shrugged. "I was wandering around the academy and peeked into this place." He said, gesturing to the gym. "Have you seen Logan around?" |

She growled at the name. "No I haven't! And I don't want to!" She stated crossing her arms and looking away. Rubbing her shoulder absentmindedly. "Why aren't you with Logan anyways?" She mumbled

"If they've done something to hurt me, or my friends." Luke said, pulling his jean leg back down. "So, I don't hate them. Because they haven't done anything to me - my mother killed herself, and my father disappeared. I don't have any siblings, so I have no reason to hate humans. Unlike some of the other people out there." He sat down in a chair, and threw his hoodie down. "Why'd you ask?" |

Bad." She laughed half heartedly. "Firstly my sister didn't come to say hi when I arrived. Then cody and I got attacked by Logan and I got stabbed a few times. An almost again with you and Logan. Then this whole deal with deaths and all that." She scratched her cheek "so bad,very bad." She stated

Luke laughed, and brushed bangs out of his face. "It's not as boring as mine, at least." He smirked, bringing out the gold disk and twirled it in his hand. |

Luke's eyes shimmered dangerously, but they faded and instead filled with humour. "I don't have a girl! And I don't have many friends!" He protested, raising an eyebrow. He pocketed the disk, crossing his arms, staring at Serenity. |

I'm human." She muttered. "And you should hate me! Half bloods are supposed to hate humans apparently." She glanced up at him as he stood up. 'Probably to leave.' She mused with an internal ironic smile. "Anyways. Bye." She waved at him and rose. Turning back to her training. She felt kinda bad for being cautious around half bloods. I mean her sister was one and look didn't seem to bad. But people like Logan made her weary and she didn't know who to trust anymore.
Shaking her head she focused on what she was doing. Grabbing one of her knives she began slashing at a dummy nearby. She wasnt used to handling knives but she had to start learning

Luke froze for a moment, before shaking his head in amazement. "Well then, you're one pretty cool human." He said, watching her leave and attack a dummy. His eyes glimmered with amusement. Walking over, he placed a cold hand on her shoulder. "Here," He said gently. "Let me show you." Luke took the disk out, spun it expertly on his hand, clicked a button, and watched it reform into a black knife with a gold sheath. He looked at the dummy, then turned to the one beside it. "You first start off by looking for points of weakness in the enemy." |

She stopped with a start at his comment. He...he didn't hate her?! She blinked owlishly straight ahead of her a moment processing what he just said. Her mind unfroze when she felt his hand on her shoulder. She turned her head around to look at him and watched curiously as he brought out his weapon. She smiled slightly and turned to look back at her dummy. "Kinda hard too when your fighting a dummy." She commented but shook her head and repositioned her knife in her hand for the ready. Glancing over at Luke as if waiting for further instructions.

Luke nodded. "Then you grip it like this, and slash at the weak points that you found earlier." He demonstrated, slicing a clean wound in the side of his dummy's chest. "And retreat. Then keep on coming, until your enemy is weakend. Then, you either kill him, or let him go." |
