Curiosity killed the... (P)

Oh, wow. Picking on the small half-bloods! Very mature of him. Of course, the innocent ferret was just taking a little walk around and exploring the area. It made her curious enough to cross into predator territory. That was Ada, anyway. Ditzy Ada that would let curiosity get the best of her any day. It would kill her inside if she didn't answer her calling. The grasslands were calling out to her. Ada... Ada... Explore and have fun. The ferret loved adventure, no matter how dangerous it could be.

However, the tall grass made her feel safe, but she forgot that there were some bigger half-bloods that were familiar with the grasslands or a biome close to be called a grassland. Anyway, the tall grass would hide the predators, but it would also make noise if the predators weren't careful. Ada rose up when she felt eyes locked on her, and she listened to her surroundings. The ferret remained calm, and she knew that someone was watching her so she waited a little bit before she darted through the tall grass. Hopefully, she could stay in the tall grass and lose whatever or whoever was chasing her. The chase was on!

The white ferret squeaked in surprise as she was grabbed by a human. What the heck was going on!? Was it the animal that was chasing after her? A half-blood! He had to understand that she was a half-blood, too. She squirmed around and tried to bite the boy, although, the bite probably wouldn't hurt as bad as a snake bite. That was the thing that sucked about being a ferret. The poor girl couldn't defend herself from the bigger animals or half-bloods. Ada tried to sound vicious like she had rabies, but it was kind of hard to do that when she knew she was just a tiny, itty bitty, puny ferret.

That wasn't the right move. Who the heck was this person!? Logan seemed like a nicer person than Christopher. Ada was thrown up into the air, and she was worried for her life! She had heard about this. It was somewhat animal cruelty. It could get worse, and Ada didn't want to find out what would happen next. Of course, Christopher played around with the ferret and threw her up in the air. Ada felt like she was going to get sick from it. I-Is he going to kill me? She closed her eyes shut and waited for the torture to be over.

It could've been worse, but it was still scary! The ferret was being dangled by her tail, and she decided that enough was enough. Maybe if she turned into her human form, the boy would stop... Or, he would figure out a way to keep teasing her. The ferret turned into a girl with snow white hair and ice blue eyes. Ada fell down on her butt and tears began to well up in her eyes as she looked up at the boy. She looked to the side and her cheeks grew hot with embarrassment. I am so weak...

Ada was shocked as well. She snapped out of it when she felt the boy's hand on her cheeks, and she quickly smacked his hand away from her. "D-Don't touch me!" Who the heck did he think he was!? He played with her like that and then he wanted to wipe her tears away for her. No, that wasn't going to happen. He was not going to just slip out from the mistake he made so easily. A chill went up her spine, and she tried to back away from him while she was sitting on the ground.

It was kind of hard for Christopher to look the girl in her eyes if she didn't even want to look at him. She managed to glance at him a few times and he finally caught her attention by trying to look into her eyes. That meant that he needed to say something important to her. Yeah, it was an apology. Her blue eyes softened as she watched the boy turn into a coyote and walk away. "U-Um.. I'm Ada! What's your... name?" Ada wasn't sure if the coyote heard her call after him. She felt bad for smacking his hand away like that, even though he was just trying to make her feel better after what he did to her.

The guy was a mystery, which made Ada want to learn more about him. The girl rose up to her feet and brushed off her clothes with her hands. They were a little dirty from her fall. Oi.... That wasn't fun. A sparkle of hope twinkled in her blue eyes when Christopher turned into his human form. Hopefully, they could become friends. It was all sort of a misunderstanding. Even if she wasn't a half-blood, he shouldn't have done that. Even if she was a girl, he should've apologized to her whether she was a girl or a boy. A small but sweet smile appeared on her face.

"Christopher..."

But, her smile faded when Christopher added more to his name. The tough guy nobody sees, the kid that gets anger issues from his dad and just had his heart broken because his crush was dating someone else already. That was a lot... Why was he talking about himself like that? It wasn't right, even if all of those things were true. "H-Hey, wait up!" she called after him and ran up to his side, trying not to trip and fall down on her face like the clumsy person she was. Ada slowed her pace and came up to his side, looking at him with a bright smile on her face.

"Do you like it here? I mean, here and the academy. I'm kind of new around here."

The girl frowned and tried to look at Christopher's face. Why wouldn't he look at her or something? He could at least watch where he was walking just in case. Aha! He called her pretty. That must be why he was hiding his face from her. She bet that he would hide himself from her if he could. "Hehehe~" she giggled to herself and continued to walk forward. Hm... Christopher called her very pretty. That made her blush hard with a dark shade of red across her face. "Ha ha. You're sweet, Christopher. I hope that we can be friends." Ada looked forward and let out a yawn, stretching out her arms. "Although, I didn't enjoy being tossed up into the air. I'm sorry that I bit you. It probably didn't do much anyway. I was just... trying to defend myself, but I guess I can't in that form. So small and weak..."

The boy's chuckle made the girl blush and look away. Did she say something funny? Ada shrugged when Christopher commented that bits didn't do anything to him. If it actually helped getting her out of the situation she was in, she would bite him. It was worth a shot. Christopher scared her to death! "You knew I was a half-blood when I was in my ferret form. What stopped you from teasing me more?" It's not like she wanted him to throw her up in the air again. He couldn't anyway. She was in her human form, which weighed more than her ferret form. She just wanted to know what made him stop and apologize if he already knew she was a half-blood.
