Being Me [o]

Elsa almost screamed and almost jumped out of her seat as the knock came on the door. She sighed, putting her head on the desk, waiting for her heartbeat to go back to normal. When her breathing became easier, she stood up and opened the door, smiling as she recognized Angelica. "Hi, Angelica. You want to come in?" She asked, opening the door wider and motioning Angel into the room.

Elsa tilted her head, closing the door behind Angelica. "What's the news?" She asked, sitting back down on the swivel chair and swinging around to face Angel. "You know you can sit on the bed. Or wherever you want." She said, smiling.

Elsa's eyes widened, and she laughed. It felt good; she hadn't laughed in days. "Serenity? Are you kidding?" She shook her head, flexing fingers. "No. I don't think I have met Diablo." Shrugging, the arctic fox half-blood pulled her legs up to her chest and rocked on the chair. "What's he like?"

Elsa nodded, grinning. "Oh, ok." She said, then shut up to listen to what Angelica said. Walking over, she placed a hand on Angel's shoulder. "Hey, you don't have to feel guilty. Just... let it go, and people will get over it."

{OMG. I ACTUALLY DIDN'T MEAN TO SAY 'let it go', BUT I DID. WOW. xD}

Elsa nodded quietly, thinking. "That's good. It means that you don't desert friends, even when you have one main friend. And that's a quality that everyone should have." She murmured, brushing a strand of hair out of her blue eye shyly. "But don't feel guilty. It's the worst thing."

"It's alright. I feel good helping people. Honestly, you should feel lucky that someone likes, or better, loves you." Elsa said, smiling and tilting her head. Standing up she walked back over to the desk and tapped her pencil against the table. "So what've you been doing? Apart from getting Diablo, I mean."

"What?! Seren, and Cody?!" Elsa whirled around on her chair and stared at Angelica in horror. Her blue eyes were glazed over with horrible thoughts. "Are they.. are they ok?" She said, gulping.

Elsa sighed with relief, falling back down into her chair and sinking into the plush fabric. "Helping people, huh? I guess it runs in the family." She smiled warmly, slightly, then turned her head away to look out the window at the forest. The tundra was white in the distance, making a nice contrast. "Don't you think that the animals in the forest have been acting up lately? I mean - Kevin..." She trailed off, glancing at Angelica but quickly looking away. Why the hell did I bring that up? She thought, gulping softly.

"Wasn't he... wasn't he your ex-boyfriend?" Elsa asked softly, turning around and walking over back to Angelica. Her plait pressed against Angel's back, and she sighed. "Things like this happen all the time for us halfbloods. It's just... just life."

"Well... it seems that it's the site plot it is happening." Elsa whispered, lying down on her back and staring up at the ceiling. "I just can't believe that that guy attack Cody and Seren..." Her voice trailed off, leaving only the sound of water trickling from a fountain in the corner of her room. "I love the sound of water. It just seems so peaceful." She spoke after a while.

"Me neither." Elsa said softly, sitting up and tracing patterns on her legs.

Elsa smiled, blue eyes glistening with surprise. "I'd love that. You're right -- it is pretty boring up here sometimes." She said, wrapping her hair around a finger.

Elsa nodded, walking over to the bedside table and taking out a brush. She quickly brushed her platinum-blonde hair, tying a french plaited bun. "I think that I'll be fine with this hairdo..." She said, glancing in the mirror. "Does it look ok?"

Elsa nodded with satisfaction, stood up, and took a denim coat off the hook and put it on. "Ok. Let's go." She said, wrapping her tail around her and quickly making it into a makeshift, sort of fluffy white belt. Shrugging, she smiled and tilted her head.
