(@taytay, that title was to be expected. Often my titles are part of songs that I have listened to, sometimes themes to shows, even. xD)
Damian stuck his hands in his pockets, looking around the courtyard again to see if Cecelia had arrived yet. They had agreed to meet here to sort out what was going to happen. To his knowledge Cecelia still hadn't broken up with Kevin, but he didn't mind. She could do it when she was ready...when he was ready. Breaking news like that to your boyfriend must be hard. But this was something that Cecelia would have to do on her own. Damian would get in the way, or make things worse.
The owl half-blood looked around the area once again, slipping his hands out of his pockets without noticing and brushing his fingers against the shell bracelet Cecelia had given him. He had taken it off at night but had put it back on in the morning. It felt...right to have it there. Maybe he was just being the geek he was, though. But he liked it. Other people could say what they wanted, it was special to him and that was all that mattered. He cared about Cecelia, and that was what mattered.
So he waited.

Things were pretty crazy and dramatic, but that's really no surprise. Drama is the number one thing in the teenager life. It was just something you had to learn to get past without losing yourself along the way to looking forward to a brighter future. Cecelia was going through a lot of mixed emotions. That was how it was going to be for her. One emotional roller coaster ride. It felt weird sneaking around with Damian. Well, they kind of were and they kind of weren't sneaking around. They were because they would meet at certain places and talk about it. Then, they weren't sneaking around because it would sound like they were dating behind Kevin's back. They both agreed to wait until things had calmed down and if Cecelia would ever break up with Kevin. Just saying that word made her shiver. Cecelia walked out to the middle of the courtyard and smiled at Damian, holding her arms out to give him a gentle hug. Yes, she made sure to be very gentle with the hug since last time she nearly made Damian's face turn blue. "Hi, Dami.." Things were starting to get better for Cecelia, but she was still dreading on it a little bit. "Hey... How are you?" she whispered softly and nuzzled her face into Damian's chest.

Damian gave a small wave with his right hand before accepting the hug. "I'm not the one you should be asking," Damian replied. "You're the one who probably has the most on your mind. All I have to worry about is hoping Kevin doesn't get too mad. Are you..okay? With everything that's happening?" Damian's voice was edged with worry, despite the small smile on his face.
"I can't exactly go with you and help, so I want to know if you'll be okay on your own," he continued. "If you aren't comfortable with doing this I'll try everything I can do to help."
(It's a bit short, but I'll get better xD)

Damian was right. If anything, he should be asking how she was. There was a lot on her mind, and she wasn't sure what to do. She knew that she had to break up with Kevin eventually, but there was never a right time. And, she was scared about what would happen between her and Kevin. Would they still be friends? They were all amazing guys. They shouldn't have wasted their time on her, because she would break under the pressure. They would ruin her by making her decide who to pick. She even felt like picking none of them and just being friends with them all. Then, they wouldn't have to fight each other over it. "I guess I'm okay... I just don't know how I should tell him. I still want to be friends with him when it's over."

"Yeah, I guess there's not much I can do there," Damian responded, looking a little guilty. "If he decides that because you two can't be 'together' that you can't be friends I can't really stop him. You know, you really don't have to do this for me. You don't have to choose either one of us. You shouldn't have to choose anyway, it's unfair of us to make you."
"What I'm saying is, if you don't want to be in a relationship with anyone yet, I don't want to make you. I'll be waiting whenever you decide that you're ready," Damian managed to sum up everything he had been trying to say before making a complete idiot of himself. "Don't push yourself to being dedicated till a relationship until you're ready. And I want you to know that you can take as long as you need with Kevin, alright? I don't mind."
