Okay, so Damian asked Cecelia if they could go back to the human world. That was a shock, but she didn't deny his request. She agreed to it, and they were on their way to the human world, sitting in the yellow bus like before. It would probably be the first time Cece was ever alone or with somebody else since she started dating Kevin. Of course, she had that time she was alone in her dorm when she had to go to sleep. That was because boys weren't allowed in the girl dorms and it would also be very awkward. Cece was sitting on the inside of the seat and looking out the window. She thought Damian would either prefer to sit on the outside or in the seat across from her so he could spread his wings before they got to the human world. Well, he didn't have anything to use against her at the moment. She was spending time with him instead of Kevin, so he couldn't say that the couple didn't do things separately. "Hm... Maybe we could find a girl for you while we're there so you won't be so grumpy about me and Kevin~" Cece tried to make it sound as nice as possible, but you could tell she was upset with Damian. "So, we're going back to the human world... Is there a particular reason why you wanted to go back?"

Damian had sat across from Cecelia, deciding that she probably wasn't exactly pleased with him. He had acted like a jerk on the last trip to the human world and he knew it. He hadn't even meant to either. But this trip was partly about trying to make up. Partly. He just wanted to be able to talk to Cecelia without Kevin, or even Adam breathing down his neck. He hadn't thought she would have agreed, especially behind Kevin's back, which he did feel a pang of guilt about doing, but she said yes.
They were coming out kind of late. It was already four, which meant not incredibly long before the sun went down. A look of guilt and even a bit of sadness was planted on his face as they got closer to their destination, the pier. He looked up as Cecelia spoke. He was aware of the slightly angered tone she used. She had probably tried to keep that comment sounding upbeat. Damian winced at it. He didn't want to think that he was the one who forced the cheery attitude she usually had away.
"I need to talk to you," he admitted. "In private. I didn't think I would be able to back at Animalia Academy, not with Kevin being next to you 70 percent of the time and Adam another 25 percent." Damian was being completely sincere. Despite not liking coming back here, especially so soon after the last visit, making sure Cecelia was able to hear him out was more important.

Cece looked down, and she fiddled around with her fingers nervously. The bus came to a stop and she almost slammed herself into the seat in front of her. Ugh, I guess that's what I get for daydreaming instead of paying attention. That was one way to tell her that they were at their destination or they just broke down. Wait what? Damian asked her to go to the human world with him just so he could talk to her in private? She turned to him and said, "Okay then. You spill out what you have to say right here and right now, so we can turn around and go back to the academy." They kind of were in private. It's not like the bus driver would be paying attention so why did it matter? Cece sighed and rose up from her seat, walking out into the aisle and heading to the front of the bus. She looked back at Damian and her eyes softened with guilt. "I'm sorry for being snappy." She walked back to the seat Damian was sitting in and she smiled at him, extending her hand out to him. "Come on. I think a private talk is exactly what we need. You know, so we can understand each other and figure this all out together."

Damian's eyes widened slightly at Cecelia's attitude, giving her a confused look. He could understand why she was mad, but Cecelia hadn't ever been snappy like that to anyone before, and he felt guilty again for being the one she ended up snapping at. He stared at the floor for a minute before picking up his backpack and standing up. When the red-head apologized Damian felt even more guilty.
"Don't bother apologizing," Damian said. "You deserve to be angry. I've messed up, in more ways than one. C'mon, let's go. I can buy dinner, but given the fact that you are dating, having dinner with me might get awkward." Damian waited a moment for Cecelia to follow him before walking out the bus, thanking the bus driver and stepping outside.
The effect was immediate. Damian tensed up all over again, despite his attempts not to. "Can we go somewhere less crowded, though?" Damian murmured quietly. "I don't like being out in the open like this," he admitted, staring at the ground again.

Cece could be quite feisty if you- you know, make her feisty. It was also a playing hard to get technique of hers with the boys, but she wasn't doing that with Damian. Her playing hard to get technique would be feisty and mostly teasing. "Hm... It wouldn't be awkward if we stopped by a fast food place. If it was a fancy restaurant, then that would probably be a different story. I think it would only be awkward if you said it was awkward and we both dressed up like we were on a date. Ha ha..." Cece laughed nervously as she rambled on about... something very awkward. She was rambling on so much about it that she completely forgot about why she was explaining the whole thing, because it wasn't awkward unless they made it awkward. They were just two friends that want to get something to eat.
"I-I'm making this awkward, aren't I?" Cece blushed and tried to shrug it off, following Damian off the bus. She thanked the bus driver and waved at him, reminding him to pick them up in a couple hours. It would be okay as long as they got to the academy before it was time for all the students to go to bed. "Sure! Where do you want to go? Ooh~ Do you want to go to the beach? Please! Please! Pleaseeeeee! I love the seashells I find on the shore. When I was a little girl, I would make seashell necklaces for my father and mother. I can make you one if you want me to~ Come on. It'll be a lot of fun."

"It wasn't awkward," Damian assured Cecelia. "I guess it wouldn't be too bad, but I dunno how Kevin would feel about it. He can get jealous pretty easily." Damian had figured that could have been part of the reason for the whole incident. He had thought it was just he had made Kevin mad at first, but after he found out that Cecelia and Kevin were dating he had different suspicions. Damian shoved the thoughts away though. He looked back up at Cecelia, listening to the next words she said.
Damian gave a small smile, partially managing to shake off his worries enough to be a bit more merry than last time. "We can go to the beach now, if you want, but I can't do much until everyone leaves," Damian answered. "Wanna go at sunset? That's when the beach gets quiet. After it gets dark I can show you something." Damian was using a hoodie to hide his wings instead of a long coat, since when he wanted he could close his wings and they wouldn't take up as much space as usual. All birds could do it, so even in human form Damian could do it to a certain extent.
"So, do you wanna just go now, anyway?" Damian asked. "The sun will go down soon, anyway."

"Yeah, we could go to the beach now. I'd like to see the sunset at the beach. I'm sure it would be absolutely gorgeous!" Cece grabbed Damian's hand and pulled him in the direction to the beach. If they were going to go looking for seashells, they better do it before the sun went down otherwise it would be kind of hard to look for them. It would be too dark. She really wanted to get the seashells so she could take them back to the academy. Maybe she could test Kevin and make him a seashell necklace. She kind of figured guys weren't into the whole seashell necklace thing. They probably thought it was girly but if Kevin really cared about her, he would wear the seashell necklace she would make for him. Honestly, she thought giving a seashell necklace to her lover was kind of romantic. Seashells were beautiful, and she would only use seashells that would be comfortable to wear around the neck. Hm... I wonder what Damian wants to show me. "Hey, you wanted to talk to me about something. Soooo, what did you want to talk about?"

Damian let out a surprised gasp as Cecelia started pulling him, but then smiled and went with it. She knew where she was going more than he did. She didn't blame her for wanting to hurry up. For her it would be hard to see after sunset, though Damian had excellent night-vision. Besides, it was a full moon tonight, anyway. Even Cecelia would be able to see enough, maybe not to find shells, but still. When she slowed down a bit and asked him what he wanted to talk about, the smile faded a bit from his face.
"Yeah..." he murmured. "I'm sorry about what happened last time I was here. I wasn't trying to be mean...it kind of slipped out...I just...whenever I'm here, I become...different." He sighed. "I don't know if you noticed. I freak out at the slightest thing, I'm paranoid, and hanging with all of you, I tried to hide it but I couldn't. I shouldn't have said that."
"I'm really sorry."

Cece walked with Damian, and she noticed that she was still holding hands with him. She glanced at Damian and glanced back at their hands and glanced back at Damian again. It wasn't awkward for a boy and girl to hold hands, right? I wonder how I should tell him... She didn't want to freak out and pull away from him. That would probably make him think something was wrong. "Oh, well, it looked like you were a bit... paranoid and uneasy. Why didn't you tell me before? I think you should be apologizing to Kevin." She jerked her hand and let it slip out from Damian's hand.
"You know, Kevin is the only one actually making an effort to fix things up with you and Adam. You just push Kevin to get him angry. Is that what you want? Are you trying to make him angry to where he'll hurt me, and then I would break up with him and come running to you for a shoulder to cry on? You're unbelievable, Damian!" Cece wanted to storm off, but she knew that she couldn't leave Damian alone. The owl wouldn't have an idea what to do with himself. She didn't mean to snap at him like that, and she knew she had to let it out sooner or later. She didn't want to be one of those people that would bottle up their emotions and then suddenly burst into a furious rampage. "Come on. Let's just go.." Cece knew that she would eventually cool off. She couldn't stay mad at him forever. Just breath, Cece... Breath... And, she knew that it wasn't in Damian's intentions to make Kevin mad enough to where he would harm her. It was also something that slipped out.

Damian hadn't realized he was still holding Cecelia's hand until she jerked it away, at which point he started blushing and looking completely embarrassed. "Sorry...I didn't see that," he murmured half audibly.
"I didn't tell you because I wanted you to have a good time. I know you don't care about me like that anymore, but you still wouldn't have as much fun if you knew how bad I felt all day," he admitted. "It's normally worse than that. When I used to live here, I barely spoke, and ran away from everyone. It was awful."
Damian kicked a small rock as he walked, letting out a sigh and staring at the ground. When Cecelia spoke again, however, his eyes widened and he gave her a look of utter disbelief. "Is that what you really think I'm doing?" he asked. "I'm not trying to make Kevin angry. Why the hell would I do that? He isn't going to hurt you, I know that. You're happy with him, I respect that you two are in a relationship, I'm fine with it. But you really think that's what I'm trying to do?"
"I want to be able to forgive Kevin," Damian admitted, staring at the ground again. "That's something I envy about you, Cecelia. You can push it away and see the good in somebody. But me...I believe Kevin has changed. Something keeps me from getting any closer to him than I have to. Some part of me sees him as a risk to everyone around him."

"O-Oh..." That was nice of him. He wanted her to have a good time and that's why they went to the human world together with Kevin and Adam. It was to have a good time and become friends again. Cecelia was finally understanding Damian until he said something about her not caring about him like that anymore. "What do you mean I don't care about you like that anymore? I cared about you as a friend, and I still do." Either Damian was clueless or it was just Cece that was misunderstanding it all. Damian must've meant the time Cecelia tried to show Damian that she liked him as more than a friend. The girl nodded in response to Damian's question. She accused him of making Kevin angry to where he would hurt her. "How am I supposed to know what is the truth and what is not? That wouldn't sound like something you would do, but you have been behaving like a child lately. I expected more from you. You haven't been yourself since the day you saw me and Kevin together."
Cecelia let out a sigh and there was more Damian had to say to her. This is what we need. A good little argument should be good for us. We will get out our thoughts and feelings and get over it together. Even though she was mad with Damian, she blushed when Damian told her one of the things he envied about her. It was true. She could get over things, and she would try to find the good in a person. She believed that everyone should be given a chance and that they must have a good reason for doing something. Sometimes it would backfire on her.
"It's okay. You don't have to say any more." Cecelia smiled at him and lead him onto the beach. It had been a while since the last time she was at the beach. She really missed it especially the soothing sounds the waves would make when they crashed onto the shore and the birds singing. Seashells~ Seashells~ She went straight to the shore and started searching for some seashells. "Hm... Ooh~ I found some pink and white seashells. They are so pretty!" The girl crouched down and picked up a few of the seashells, feeling the texture of each one. "They are smooth, too! No sharp edges. They would make the perfect material for jewelry making."

The owl half-blood sighed again. "I guess I have been acting a different," he admitted. "I don't know what's wrong with me. I just don't feel the same anymore. Maybe I'm just not having the best week?"
Damian gave a small smile as Cecelia started looking for seashells. He tapped into his sharp owl vision, scanning the sand for pieces of shells. He collected each one he found, seemingly going faster than Cecelia since he could find them easier. Once he had a handful he went back to Cecelia.
"Are these okay?" he asked. "I wouldn't know. I haven't exactly made jewelry with them before."
(Oh boy that was short >.<)

That was funny. He guessed that he had been acting differently. No, he was acting differently. There was no if's or and's and but's. Damian was different, and Cece really didn't like it. Of course, he did act different in the human world, but he was also acting different back at school. Cecelia waved goodbye to Damian, and she continued searching for good seashells to use for jewelry. She stood up straight and her eyes widened in shock. "Wow! You got a lot. Some of these might be too big or they have a rough texture. I'll have to check them out. I like to use small and smooth seashells. They would be comfortable to wear. Hey, could you.... um... go get me some more seashells, please?" She was going to make something for Damian while he was gone looking for seashells. "There's a specific seashell I'd like. It's... It's... white! Um.. It's white and it has pink swirls on it, blending with the white. Oh, and it's very very very VERY tiny. Good luck!" It was just a seashell she came up with. She wasn't sure if there was actually a seashell that was very small and it was white with pink swirls on it.

Damian gave Cecelia a strange look before shrugging and heading back again. She was acting a bit weird. He almost thought she was making up the shell, but then again, he didn't know much so he just went with. "I'll look...over here...?" it was half a question, since she had pretty much been gesturing in another direction. Damian paused for a moment, running his hand trough he hair and scanning the area before moving on.
Small, white, pink swirls... he ran through the description in his head. He wasn't one to care all that much about appearance, but he decided that if Cecelia wanted it, he would try to find it anyway. Girls were weird. He ended up picking up any shells similar to the appearance Cecelia had asked for, but stayed over there looking more just in case.

Cecelia waved at Damian and watched where he was going. She wanted to make sure he was far away before she started working on the seashell bracelet. Damian was a long way away from her so she began to make the bracelet. She was going to use the very small, smooth seashells for the bracelet so it wouldn't be a lot of weight on Damian's wrist. The girl was so excited as she went to work. She couldn't wait to see the look on Damian's face. Hopefully, he wouldn't think of it to be girly. It was also a present from Cecelia! How could he turn that down? Cecelia thought it was sweet that Damian went to go look for her made up seashell. She was almost done with the bracelet, and she looked over to see Damian still looking for the seashell. She noticed him picking up seashells that were similar to the description. She giggled to herself and watched Damian for a moment before she turned back to the bracelet.
The redhead stood up and held her hands behind her back with the bracelet in her right hand. Cecelia walked over to Damian and smiled at him sweetly. "I'm sorry, Dami. I made you search for a random seashell I made up in my mind. I appreciate the effort, though. I think that's kind of sweet you were trying to look for the seashell I made up in my mind. It was the only way I could get you away from me to make this..." she trailed off and took her hands out from behind her back, handing Dami the seashell bracelet she made for him. (Gosh, darn it! I kept on wanting to type necklace instead of bracelet xD) Her cheeks turned into a deep red as she handed the bracelet over. "I-I made it for you. I hope you like it. It's a little seashell charm bracelet. I hope you don't think it's too girly... I used pink and white shells and it doesn't weigh a lot. I also made sure they were all pretty much the same size and shape." Her cheeks grew hotter with embarrassment and she looked down at the sand. "I.. I just hope you like it."

Damian looked up from his bent over position before standing up and rubbing the back of his neck. He had found a lot of similar shells but not one quite matching the description she wanted. "I didn't find the-wait what?" Damian started but stopped when Cecelia started speaking. A grin appeared on his face when she said it was a fake shell. "I knew you were acting weird about it for some reason!" he performed a jumping fist pump. "And I never found the shell so I'm glad it was made up." A small blush formed on his face, since he had been a bit embarrassed by his sudden outburst.
As Cecelia showed him the bracelet Damian's face became even more red, and he stood there in stunned silence. He didn't know what to say. He hadn't Cecelia to make him a bracelet. Since she was with Kevin he had thought she would make one for him, before his, at least. He picked it up, a smile forming once again on his face.
"I-I don't know what to say," he started, rubbing the shells and admiring the craftsmanship. "Cecelia, it's really pretty." He slid it over the wrist of his left hand, lifting it up so that she could see it. "It's gonna stay right there." He meant it. He lowered his hands to his sides again and looked up at the ocean. The sun was starting to set. Vibrant colors reflected off the waves, beautiful golds, reds, pinks and oranges.
"It's beautiful," he murmured, casting a side glance at Cecelia.

Cecelia laughed nervously and blushed, hoping that Damian would be upset with her for making him go on some wild search for a shell she made up in her mind. It would be a pretty shell, though. I should've told him to look for a blue shell or something odd-looking. Then, he would have an impossible chance of finding one of those. A small, white shell with pink swirls on it could be possible. Of course, Damian could barely get anything out of his mouth when Cecelia revealed the bracelet she made for him. It was a habit for her to ramble on about something especially if she was nervous. She noticed Damian's grin and a rush of relief washed over her.
The silence worried her a little bit, but she knew that Damian wouldn't say anything negative about the bracelet whether he liked it or not. He was too nice to do something like that especially to Cecelia. It was obvious that Damian wanted to be the one to make Cecelia smile every day. It wasn't normal to see her without a smile. That's when you would know something was really bothering her. Her eyes sparkled and she nearly jumped a little at the reaction she got from her friend. "You really think so? Ha ha~ Thanks!" She got even more excited when Damian put the bracelet on the wrist of his left hand. "Oh, I doubt it~ You'll probably take it off before you go to bed and then forget about it." Cecelia followed Damian's blue gaze to the sun that was setting over the ocean. "The sunset! Wow, it looks so pretty. I like to look at it as a sunset and a painting in the sky. It's just... breathtaking."

Damian laughed a bit at Cecelia's comment about him probably going to forget. And he might, but somehow this time he knew he wouldn't. He just had a feeling about it. The teen found himself casting a side glance at Cecelia as she started talking about how beautiful she thought the sunset was. A small smile was on his face as he looked at her. Everyone at the beach had already left (totes legit I do what I want) and as it got darker he found himself admiring not the sun, but the girl beside him. The dying sunlight reflected in her green eyes, the ones that he wanted to make sure always sparkled with that untainted wonder of life. But it wasn't his job anymore. She had moved on. He had let her. The bracelet was a gift from a friend, nothing more.
Since when had he wanted it to be more than that? Hadn't he been the one always in denial about it? He lost his chance, he knew that. But now he was trying to make it up to her. Why couldn't he just tell her? How he felt? Was that so hard? Kevin had done it, the two were a couple. Heck, even Adam had done it once. And Damian? He was too stupid to even realize how much he cared. Whenever he tried, it was the only time words failed him. All the confidence he would normally have disappeared, and he ended up feeling disappointed in himself.
It was becoming night-time. Damian finally made his legs move again and he slipped off his hoodie, laying it the sand and stepping closer to Cecelia.
"Do you trust me?"

Cecelia giggled to herself and waved goodbye to the sun as it disappeared over the ocean. The girl wasn't aware of Damian looking at her instead of the sun. There was no way she could be even more beautiful than the sunset. It was becoming night time, and Cecelia had to admit that she had a fun day with Damian. They entered the human world a little late in the day, but it was still fun to be in Damian's presence. She blinked at the sudden movements the owl made towards her. "Dami! What if somebody sees you?" Duh! Damian wouldn't reveal his wings if he knew that humans would see him with his wings. What was he doing anyway? "I trust you. Why would you ask me something like that?" Cecelia watched Damian for a little bit before she realized what he meant by that. "Oh.. Y-Yes, of course I do. Are you sure? Your wings are still healing.."

"Cecelia, I made sure nobody was here," Damian assured her. "Would I really just reveal myself if I thought anyone was around? You know how nervous I am when other people are watching."
"Still healing?" Damian echoed. "Cecelia, they healed while you were away." Damian lifted his right wing, showing he was perfectly capable of moving it without a problem. "Don't worry about me. You aren't afraid of heights, are you?" he joked. "So how do you wanna do this? Do I carry you...? That might be awkward, but I can just hold onto you by the arms or something the whole time." Damian started going red again.
"Admittedly this is not how I saw this going," he gave a small nervous smile. "But I was thinking, since it's always really pretty at night in the sky, I wanted to try and show you...?"

"Oh... yeah. I can't believe I forgot about that. It felt like forever being away from you guys." Cecelia avoided going back to that place where she felt sad and guilty that she left. But, she was glad that Damian's wings were healed. That was one scary and emotional night yet a month later Cecelia comes back and starts dating Kevin. It was crazy, but she really liked Kevin. "Okay, I get it!" she said when Damian moved his wing to show her that he was capable of doing so. "Um... I don't think I'm afraid of heights." Cecelia laughed as Damian tried to explain to her how it would work. He asked her how he should hold her or he could hold her by her arms. Her laugh wasn't making things easier on the shy boy. She smiled at him sweetly, and she thought he was kind of cute whenever he blushed and got nervous. "Ha ha~ It's okay, Dami. Um... I don't really know how you should hold me either... Wow. This is embarrassing! Y-You could c-carry me or hold me by my arms I guess..." Oh, great! Damian's blushing was contagious. Cecelia's cheeks were starting to burn up with embarrassment.

"Alright," Damian agreed. "Carrying might be a better idea. Just don't tell Kevin, since he might take it the wrong way." Damian stepped up to Cecelia and led her to the edge of the beach, stopping close enough to the water that it was practically lapping right at their shoes. He looked up in the sky for a moment, admiring the stars and mapping out where some were so he could return to this spot easily afterwards.
"Whenever you're ready," Damian breathed, looking at Cecelia again with his shy smile. "If you don't want to it's fine, just tell me." He didn't want to make Cecelia uncomfortable or nervous.

Cecelia was okay with however Damian wanted to hold her, but she would feel awkward about the carrying thing. Did Damian even have the muscles for that? N-Now, I'm worried about how much I weigh. Hm... Have I gained weight? She whimpered as she looked down at her body, feeling a little insecure about it. She looked back at Damian and shrugged her shoulders. It was like she didn't care if Kevin found out or not. If he took it the wrong way, then that must mean he doesn't trust Cecelia being alone with Damian. Cecelia followed Damian to the edge of the beach and smiled back at him. "Yeah! I'm ready my knight in shining armor~" she joked and winked at him playfully. "Just kidding. You tell me when you get tired of carrying me, okay?" After being a little insecure about her weight, she was completely happy and ready to go.

Damian smiled again and spread out his long wings, backing up to get a running start. Normally it wasn't needed, but it made more air catch in his wings and made lifting off a lot easier. He ran forward, sweeping Cecelia off her feet (shuddupaboutdapowerplayingcuziaintgottimeforthat) and soaring upwards. Once he was high enough he started gliding, making the ride more slow and smooth.
From here it was easier to see how the moon reflected on the waves. Since it was dark, you could see every star. It would be too dark for a human to navigate, but Damian was confident in his direction, using his enhanced senses and the stars to pinpoint their location.
"You okay, Cecelia?" he asked, looking down at the girl in his arms and making sure she wasn't freaking out. "I'm pretty sure anyone would be freaking out now."

Cecelia reminded herself to keep calm as Damian ran towards her and swept her off her feet. It was a little surprising, although, she saw it coming. She was being lifted up off the ground and she struggled a little bit until Damian got his arms completely around her. It felt like he had a nice grip on her. The grip was a little too nice for her liking. Cecelia looked down at the ocean below and gasped, hanging onto Damian. "D-Dami-kun!" she whined and looked up to meet Damian's gaze that was focused on her. Tears began to roll down her cheeks, and she blinked at Damian. She touched her wet cheeks and looked at her hands that had tears on them that eventually dissolved. Why am I crying?
Her eyes widened when she looked back at Damian, realizing that her feelings for him had never faded away. There was no doubt that the human girl had fallen hard for the owl half-blood. "Y-Yes..." she said in response and smiled at Damian. "I feel great. Thank you for everything, Damian." Damian was a really nice guy that she knew she could never have. That's just how it was going to work. They had to be friends and nothing more. If they broke up, it would break Cecelia's heart because then it would be awkward for them. It would be like the time Damian felt all weird around Cecelia because Kevin would be there breathing on his neck. Cecelia didn't want it to be that way. "You were right. This is very beautiful but it doesn't compare to the beauty of our friendship that had blossomed from the first day we met."

Damian felt himself panic a bit as Cecelia cried, but it went away quickly and her attitude went back to how it usually was. He smiled again, finding himself more at ease since he was away from any other eyes that might see him. "A bit of a poet, are you?" Damian joked, still smiling. When he actually thought about the comment he blushed a bit.
"You and I remember the first day we met very differently," Damian replied. "I wasn't the nicest guy. I was...a bit scared of you, to be honest," he admitted, avoiding her gaze for a minute. "You could have exposed all of us. And I knew that, but helped you anyway. Weird, huh?" Damian didn't feel like that at all anymore, though. He trusted Cecelia completely. He knew he could count on her. When he was unable to help himself, Cecelia had been the one who saved him. Six months ago, he never would have thought a human would be the person he trusted the most.
"I love being up here," Damian said, changing the conversation a bit. "I could go on forever, just flying in the night sky." His eyes brightened a bit just talking about, and his smile became bigger. "I feel so free, like I could go anywhere."

Bad Cece! Damian worries about you whenever you get upset. Cecelia rolled her eyes playfully and shrugged her shoulders. "I do enjoy poetry. I think it's romantic and it has so many meanings. But, you probably don't want to hear me ramble on about something boring like that." Her cheeks grew hot and she let out a distressed sigh. Damian really knew how to make her blush out of control. He was a genius at finding her weak points. That could be dangerous. Heck, Damian's smile was dangerous alone. It always caught her off-guard, and it would make her heart beat fast. It would beat so fast that she could barely catch up with it. Cecelia tilted her head and blinked those big, bright green eyes of hers at Damian.
And I knew that, but helped you anyway. Weird, huh? "I know~ I can have that effect on people." she joked and giggled to herself. Then, Damian started to talk about being up above the ocean in the middle of the night. Cecelia liked the sparkle in Damian's eyes as he talked about flying in the night sky forever. It was nice to see him so passionate about something. "That must be nice to fly around so freely. That makes me wonder... Do you like being an owl more than a human? I mean, a human with wings... Erm, I don't know what I was trying to say.. Ha ha~ Nevermind. Forget that I even mentioned it."

Damian raised an eyebrow at Cecelia's question before deciphering what exactly she meant. "No no, it's okay," he insisted. "I think I know what you mean. Like, if I had to choose, which would I rather be?" Damian thought about it for a while. "I don't know. I don't think I'd be the same if I could only be one or the other. I love being in my owl form a lot, but it still wouldn't be the same."
"I can't see myself being anything other than a half-blood," Damian admitted. "You know, I always thought that part of our personalities were determined by our animal halves, or maybe the other way around. It's just something I think about sometimes. Sometimes you notice it more than usual. So sometimes I do wonder what I would be like if I was just human. How different would I be?" Damian looked at Cecelia and blushed again. "Ah, sorry, I'm rambling a bit aren't I?"
"Well, if you could choose whether to be a human or a halfblood, what would you choose?"

Yeah. Damian hit it spot on that she wanted to know which one made him a better man or something like that. Cecelia listened to Damian talk about what he thought about that. It was kind of hard to answer unless you really put some thought into it and you were sure about your answer. She tried her best to understand what Damian meant since she wasn't a half-blood. Damian probably thought she wouldn't understand and it would be useless to talk to her about it if she didn't understand. Aw~ He was so cute whenever he apologized for rambling and he would blush. It was cute because Damian looked like he was embarrassed by it. He shouldn't be since Cecelia rambles on about things all the time. She rambles on and on and on, which made her wonder how the heck was Kevin able to put up with that. Maybe he thought it was cute, too...? "Nah, it's okay. I ramble on about things all the time.
I ramble on about things that are totally off the subject as well. You have nothing to worry about, Dami. And, I don't think I would choose. I would let birth choose for me. I don't care if I'm born as a half-blood, human, werewolf, or anything like that. It still wouldn't change who I am, right? I could be a creature that is known for its snappy behavior and vicious attacks, but I could be different from what I am. It's kind of like me being a human and other humans that are like me. Half-bloods have the image of humans being horrible creatures that use violence to replace fear. Just because I'm a human doesn't mean I hate half-bloods and I want to wipe their population off the map. I really like half-bloods... erm... especially the bird half-bloods." Cecelia muttered the last part about bird half-bloods and blushed, looking away so Damian wouldn't notice her blushing. She looked back at Damian and she just laughed nervously. "See? I was just rambling on a bit too long than what is necessary to ramble about."

"I know that not all humans are bad," Damian replied. "I knew that before I met you, even. But I was afraid to give anyone a chance and just hid myself away. I...uh..I lived on the streets alone for five years. If you thought my attitude was weird around Kevin a couple days ago...it was a lot worse then." He sighed a bit before shrugging off the feeling and bringing the smile back onto his face.
Damian blushed a bit more when he heard Cecelia's last comment. She had tried to say it quietly, but having enhanced senses Damian was able to pick it out. "I...uh...I heard that last part, Cece," he admitted, adjusting his course back to the beach. If he stayed up here to long, Cecelia might become lightheaded because of the thinner air. "What about Kevin? What's wrong with wolves?" he asked.
Damian waited for her response as he lowered the two back onto the beach, making sure Cecelia's footing was steady before letting her stand on her own. "I would have stayed up there longer, but humans can't handle the thinner air for that long."
