half-bloods go to the human world! Part 2 (Cece friends)

Kevin followed Cece out of the bus. Boy, he hadn't been there in a while. "I think we should hit the beach." He told her. He turned to Adam and Damian. "What do you guys think?"

"Sorry for saying that." He said. "Okay, let's wait until night. In the meantime, wanna go to McDonalds or something like that?" He asked. He was getting hungry, and he also needed to get some new clothes. He's certainly grown since the time he started Animalia Academy. "Maybe we could go to a store and buy some things." He suggested.

"Well, let's go get something to eat then! We can head to the shopping district after if you want." Cecelia walked over to Kevin and smiled at him as she took his hands into hers. "So, we're here. Just like you wanted~" She turned to Damian and Adam and smiled at them, too. "What are you guys in the mood for? Or, we could all just go ahead and do our own thing and meet up afterwards." She preferred that they stayed together or they could stay in groups of two. It would be best just in case someone accidentally let it slip out that they were all half-bloods except for Cece, of course.

Splitting into twos sounding good to Damian. As much as he liked having the whole group together, it would be easier to relax for him with just one other person. He could already guess the way that the groups would be divided. Kevin was rather possessive. He hadn't seen the two apart since they were in a relationship, and in all honesty it was kind of disturbing. All the other boys here had painfully obvious feelings for Cecelia, and perhaps it would be better for Cece to get away with that.

"Call me paranoid, Kevin, but this is getting creepy," he said, pointing to the two of them together. "I'm all for you having a relationship, but it doesn't mean you have to do everything together. Would you give the girl some space for five minutes?" As soon as the words slipped out of his mouth, Damian slapped a hand on his forehead and turned to walk in the other direction. "Nevermind, sorry, sorry," he called back. When he let his owl nature take over that much he tended to be more blunt and less warm about it. "Do what you want. Adam, get over here."

Hey, Cece didn't mind going with Adam or Damian. Mostly she was worried about who Kevin would get stuck with. By the looks of it, both of the males hated Kevin with all they had. The trip to the human world was supposed to be a way for them to make up and become friends again. Putting Kevin into a group with Damian or Adam wasn't a good idea. If it was a problem, then they could all stay in one group. Cece grew worried when Damian told Kevin that it was getting creepy. What was getting creepy? Was Damian not enjoying himself in the human world? Then, she noticed Damian pointing at the both of them. That's when Damian brought up the relationship with Kevin and Cece. It didn't sound like he was all for it.

"D-Dami, you're right that we don't have to do everything together but-" Cece stopped talking and realized that it was hopeless. Damian was already gone and calling for Adam to get his butt over there where he was at. Her grip on Kevin's hand tightened, and a shadow loomed over her eyes. A couple tears rolled down her cheeks but she wiped them away before she turned to Kevin, forcing a bright smile on her face. "Come on, Kevin. Let's go get something eat. You must be hungry since I didn't give you guys much time to eat breakfast. I just thought it would be nice to get a head start on things. There's so much I want to show you~"

"Pancakes it is!" she exclaimed and pulled on Kevin's arm. "I mean, who doesn't love pancakes? They are so fluffy and delicious!" It was amazing. Cece didn't need anything like sugar or caffeine to make her hyper like bouncing off the walls hyper. She woke up that morning, and she was ready to get the day started. Hopefully, Kevin could love her despite all of the energy she had inside her. Maybe it was because she was excited or she had been conserving energy over the past few days doing nothing. It wanted to burst out all at once! "Come on, Kevin. Let's go!"

(Okie dokie! *magically pops in IHOP*)
Cece opened the door and lead Kevin into the restaurant. A young waitress walked up to them and introduced herself politely before she told them to follow her to the table they would be sitting at. Cece followed the waitress and hoped she was still holding Kevin's hand to make sure he was following them. They arrived at the table, and Cece pulled out her chair and sat down. The waitress, Erica, set the menus in front of the couple she was serving. Erika waited for them to get seated and she asked them what they would like to drink. "I'd like a cup of hot chocolate, please~" Erika nodded and scribbled Cece's drink order down on the little notepad she had to carry around to write down orders. She looked to Kevin and smiled at him sweetly. "And, what would you like to drink, sir?"

"I can't decide! I want to try all of it." Cece whimpered and looked through the menu. She wasn't hungry enough to try all of the pancakes but she really wished she could go to IHOP every day for breakfast, so she could try all of the pancakes. "Um... I'll have the strawberry crepe." She closed the menu and took Kevin's so she could hand both of the menus to the waitress at once. The waitress excused herself from their presence so she could get their orders to the chefs in the kitchen. Cece looked at Kevin and blushed with embarrassment. She thought he would be a bit annoyed that she didn't know what she wanted right away. "Ha ha~ It's kind of like we're on a date, isn't it?"

"Oh, well, okay then~" Cece had no problem with it being a date. Her smile was bright and big, and she thought of how it would be their first date. This is perfect! We could be on our first date until we meet up with Dami and Adam again. The human world was the perfect place to go dating... for humans, but they managed to make it work. It was easier for Kevin to hide his wolf ears and tail. Adam and Dami were different. Their wings would get hot and uncomfortable in a jacket. Her bright eyes sparkled at the sight of the food. Cece grabbed her fork and cut her a small piece of her strawberry crepe. She took a bite of the crepe and chewed it happily and swallowed it. "That tasted so good! Hey, Kevin, would you like a bite of my crepe? It's really good~" she teased as she cut up another piece of the strawberry crepe and waved it around in his face playfully. "Come on. Just one little bite."

Kevin took the fork and took a bite of the crepe. Once he swallowed it he said, "So, what do you wanna do next? We could go to Wal-Mart or a market or something." He took another bite of the pancake and after a little bit he was done with his food, he drank his pop. "I'm stuffed." He said.

(No I took your fork)

"Yeah and I need some new clothes and stuff." He said. He gave paid the bill and walked out the door, with Cece hopefully following. He walked into Wal-Mart and turned to Cece. "So, what should we get first?" He asked.

"Eh, It's okay, I really don't need anything." He said. "So, what do you wanna do now?"

(Muse.gone.for like the 100th time.)

Kevin laughed. He got a shopping cart and then looked around. He then walked over to the clothing section and saw some black jeans. "I like these." He said. He set them in the cart and looked around. He got some pants and a couple t-shirts and a new leather jacket. "Do you need anything?" He asked.

(Muse is still gone)

"No, they'll just think we're some weird shady teens," Damian joked. "Denny's is fine. So I guess we should get moving." Damian actually knew where to go. This area was the one around his old house, and though he went all over the place while on the run, he always ended up back here. Turns out that was true even now, which was weird.

Pretty soon he reached the restaurant, waiting for Adam before walking in.
