Damian wasn't mad. He wasn't jealous. He wasn't going on a rampage against Kevin because of his own stupid feelings. He kept on trying to convince himself there weren't any feelings he had towards Cecelia that were like that, but everyday he found it harder and harder to do. Falling in love with a human was the last thing he thought he would do.
Except maybe what he was doing now. Going straight to the person who had caused this whole mess in the first place. Kevin was now Cecelia's boyfriend. And Damian was happy for her, but the underlying risk of what Kevin could do to her was more scary. Damian didn't want to think that Kevin would hurt her. He honestly didn't think he ever would hurt Cecelia.
But he had been wrong about things like that before. He hadn't thought that Kevin would hurt him, or anyone, really, either. And if Cecelia was going to be this close to the wolf half-blood, Damian needed to make sure Kevin knew that he was treading on dangerous ground.
Damian broke into a run, shifting into an owl again as he picked up speed. He normally would have rejoiced at the fact that he could fly like this again, but the goal he had in mind was too important. He tracked the wolf down and landed in front of him, shifting back to his human form.
"We need to talk."
