Alone|Cecelia

Cecelia walked into the cafeteria and looked around to see if there were any familiar faces. This place hasn't changed one bit. It still felt like home, even when people asked her what her animal half was and she had to figure out if she should trust them with her secret or not. The thing was that she should never tell anyone, but she was getting tired of lying. One lie could ruin everything between two people. It was too much of a risk. Cecelia spotted one of her friends, Adam, and she walked over to him with a bright smile on her face. Her smile faded when she got close enough to see a single tear roll down his cheek. She walked up to him and placed her hand on his shoulder gently. "A-Adam..? Why are you crying?" Her smile came back a little, and she hoped Adam hadn't forgotten about her while she was gone. "I'm Cece~ I'm so happy to see you again. I can't wait to see Kevin, too! How is he? I just ran into Dami not long ago."

"Yep! It's really me." Cece smiled at Adam, and she was surprised when he stood up and hugged her. It was a nice, friendly hug between friends. She had to agree that it had been too long since she last saw any of her friends. They were all sweet and caring young men. Cece hoped they would all have a bright and happy future. They deserved it. Adam mentioned something about not seeing Kevin for a while. "What! Y-You haven't seen him?" Oh my gosh! What if he's dead in the forest!? That idiot! Why does he keep on getting in fights with those wolves? "Have you checked the forest for him?"

"Oh.. You guys weren't really friends, were you?" That would explain a lot. Cecelia actually thought things were getting better between the two. She didn't like seeing them fight, which brought back memories of them joining forces one time and they nearly killed Damian. But, she didn't bother to dig further into the subject. That was in the past. "Uh... It could've been worse. My dad raged on about my bruised cheek, but don't worry about it. It wasn't your fault, and I didn't tell him about the academy or anything like that. Anyway, I think things have calmed down. I got a plan so just leave it to me. I want you guys to come to the human world with me without getting harmed. I'll figure this all out and hopefully, humans and half-bloods could live together in peace." Cecelia took a seat at the table and gestured for Adam to sit down next to her.

"I didn't mean right now, silly!" Cecelia realized that Adam may not be as excited about going to the human world as she was. She really wanted to show her friends the world she lived in before she got mixed up with the half-blood academy. Honestly, she was very grateful that they made a mistake with her otherwise she would have never met Dami, Kevin, and Adam. They were the best friends a girl could have. "I'm sure we could work something out with them. I really want you guys to see the human world. It's beautiful... without the humans running you guys off, of course~" she joked, hoping Adam wouldn't take it seriously but it was kind of hard sine most of the half-bloods didn't have the fondest memories of humans.

Cecelia sighed and decided to give up. Adam was talking so negative about it that she was starting to think they wouldn't get away with it. "I just thought...- Never mind." It was hopeless. She really wanted them to go to the human world with her someday. It would be a lot of fun. They could go to the beach and visit a lot of beautiful places. Hopefully, the humans and half-bloods would come to an understanding soon. "So, are you just going to stay here for the rest of your life?" It didn't make sense. The half-bloods should be able to live with the humans in peace. They should be able to be free in the world and do what they want. "I wonder what the next few years would be like here..."

"It's okay. I don't understand but I can try to imagine. Yeah... I'm not really a good friend, am I?" Cecelia could've easily put her friends in danger if they decided to go with her into the human world. She was just so caught up in the moment of showing them her world that she forgot that it wouldn't be so easy. It would be a while until the half-bloods could roam freely in the human world. The humans have to come to an understanding eventually. They just had to. Cecelia sighed and smiled at Adam once more to lighten up on the problem. "It's nice to see you again, Adam."

"Ha ha~ Stop it, Adam!" Cecelia felt like her friends were giving her too much credit. They were the amazing ones. She was just surprised that she could forgive Adam and Kevin for beating up Damian. She wished she hadn't, but she couldn't stay mad at them forever. "Oh, and I'm sorry for telling Damian about Mada... I didn't mean to. It sort of just slipped out. S-See! That's why you don't trust me with secrets even if I say that I'll keep them. I keep them until I just blurt it out." She sighed and face-palmed herself. "A great friend, huh? I seriously doubt it."

"Yeah... But, I don't think I'll keep anymore secrets. I can't even keep my own secret about being a..." she looked around before she whispered in Adam's ear. "A human." Cecelia nearly blurted out that she was a human. It was a good thing she stopped herself in time. She always did that. Once she was into a conversation, she would block out everything else. She forgot that they were in the cafeteria. "Oh, I'm sure Damian wouldn't do that. He might just play around but I don't think he would do it on purpose."
