Claire Blakely
"Dorm 6, Dorm 7, okay, there's Dorm 8," Rosemary finds her dorm, unlocks the door, and steps inside. The cool air strikes her immediately. Memories of her running through the snowy forest, away from the HBES, flood her mind. She pushes them aside as she pulls in her suitcase and shuts the door.
"Hello?" Rosemary calls. Her voice echoes off the walls of the dorm. Rosemary picks the first bedroom in the dorm and steps inside.
Rosemary drops her suitcase and her duffel bag on the floor and falls onto her cozy new bed. She curls up under the blankets and breathes in the new smell. It's been so long since she's slept in a bed. Memories of her sleeping against trees and on rocks flood her mind as she falls asleep.

Finally, something to do! Thought a tall eighteen year-old with dark brown eyes, black hair, black perked ears, and a long grey-based black-spotted tail flicking behind her as she walked with pride in her chest along the halls. Arriving at the large door to dorm 8, Claire rapped her fist against it, assuming the female that had been assigned there would be within her new home.

Rosemary wakes up from a long slumber. She yawns, rubs her eyes, and stretches her arms. Who could be knocking? Rosemary thought. She opens the door to her room in the dorm and walks to the main door of Dorm 8. Rosemary opens the large door. "Claire!" Rosemary squeals excitedly.

(Er.. Remember, this is the first time out characters have met since we haven't RPed before.. I'l just go with this)
Claire smiled. Rosemary must have found out about me from one of the other students or the Animalia Academy Information Guide, She decided, lending a hand to shake. "Well, Hi!" She replied, receiving an intake of the girl before her; Glasses, red-orange hair, slightly shy, by what she could tell, etc. Snow leopards, being the hunters they were, and including Claire's intelligence, made Claire a great detector of details. "Is it alright if I come in?"

(Oh yeah, whoops. I must've thought our meet at the hospital was before this. LOL)
Rosemary grabbed Claire's hand and shook it. "Sorry about that," Rosemary said, "You're the first person I've met today. I just got a little excited. Sure, you can come in." Rosemary was truly excited to meet someone. No one had said hi to her, or probably even looked at her.

Rosemary was confused. Claire was pretty, funny, social, and a great person to be around. How could she once be the person Rosemary was today?

"Hmm," Rosemary thought. The forest... Oh, yeah, the Half-Blood forest, Rosemary remembered. She had read about it in the Anamalia Academy Information Guide. Rosemary pictured herself in her mind, shifting from a human to a cat. All of a sudden, Rosemary had a tail, cat ears, and Claire looked rather big to her. "Uh oh..." Rosemary thought, "I must have shifted into a cat without meaning to!"

Rosemary then assumed the way to change back to her human form is to picture herself changing to a human from a cat form. She did this, and soon, she was taller, and her tail and cat ears were gone. "I'm SO sorry about that! I didn't mean to! It was an accident!" Rosemary quickly apologized. She was afraid she would lose her first friend.
