Private sunshine! (Diablo)

Diablo had his tray filled with meat and noticed that a girl was sitting at his table. It wasn't really his table, but he was the only one to sit over there. It felt so weird to have his table taken. The girl was sitting by herself and maybe that's what she wanted. The other tables were crowded, and Diablo didn't like being surrounded by many people. He looked back at the girl and wondered if she wouldn't mind him sitting with her. He wouldn't talk to her if she wanted to be left alone, but there was no way he was going to sit at the crowded tables. The black-haired boy hesitated as he walked over to the table next to the window with a rather beautiful view of the woods. There was also the pretty girl sitting at the table. "Um... H-Hello. May I sit with you? The other tables seem a bit crowded, and I don't really like being around so many people..."

"Uh.. Thanks." Diablo set his tray down and took a seat at the table. Angelica's exclamation hurt the poor boy's ears a little but, but that's because he needed to get used to the loudness. He nodded in response to Angelica's question about him being new to Animalia Academy. He preferred to stay in hiding in the human world. He was by himself and no one bothered him, but this school was going to make sure he was never found. "Nice to meet you... Angel. You don't mind if I call you that, do you? I'm Diablo, by the way." It was like their meeting was meant to be. Angelica's nickname could be Angel and Diablo's name meant the devil. The devil meets the angel.

A small smile appeared on the boy's face when Angel said that he could call her Angel. He always liked that name. It was so pretty. Diablo grew a little scared after Angel babbled on about wanting to help him settle in. He was sure he could do that on his own but why not? Angel looked like she knew more about the school than he did. "No, you are the first... And, yes. I would really like that."

"Okay... Are you free after school? Maybe you can show me around then." Diablo didn't mind skipping class, but he wasn't sure about how Angel would react to that. He was going to skip class whether she showed him around or not. He didn't like going to school and going to his classes. It was boring, and he would be better off somewhere else like in the forest. That's where he felt more at home. Diablo began to eat the meat that was on his tray. Eating quickly turned into devouring all the meat on his tray.

What the heck? Diablo didn't know they could have a free hour to do whatever they wanted after lunch before class. Oh, well. He was still going to skip class and take a walk in the forest. I wonder who I'm going to be roommates with... Most people like Diablo didn't want a roommate, but he knew that wasn't optional. He was going to get stuck with a roommate whether he liked it or not. "I don't like school..."

Diablo shrugged as if he was saying that he didn't know why he came to the school. "I guess... the protection it provides. I don't like humans so..." He didn't feel like going too in detail about it. Of course, nobody liked to go in detail about it especially if they had a bad history with humans killing their family or anything like that for that matter. Diablo just wanted to get away from the humans and get out of hiding. He wanted to live in the forest at the school. It was so beautiful and relaxing. It was home to Diablo.

His dark eyes lit up when Angel mentioned the forest being one of the places he could find her if he needed someone to talk to. The boy was lonely but he wasn't very good at putting himself out there and making friends with people. It's not that he didn't know how to act right around people, but he had never been around so many people. It was like someone telling him that they loved him, and he wouldn't know how to react because he never had anyone tell him that they loved him. It wasn't an example. Diablo had never heard the three words... I love you. "Thank you... Angel."

Diablo blushed a little and avoided making any eye contact with the girl. He waited patiently for Angel to get done eating. He wanted to get the little tour over with and escape Angel in time after the tour to skip class. The girl would probably convince him into going to class, and he didn't want to stick around long enough to find that out. They would just take a tour on Angel's break from class after lunch and then Diablo would hopefully be able to slip away from Angel to wander off into the forest.

Diablo rose up from his seat and followed Angel to throw the trash away and put his tray into the dish washing box. "O-Okay." Angel was in charge of the tour she was giving him. He didn't mind what order Angel went in as long as it wasn't too out of order like going to the forest and then going to the library only to come back through the forest to get to the lake. Why not stop by the places nearby so you don't have to come back? It would be easier that way. If she wanted to save something special for last, then so be it. Diablo just wanted to get the tour started already.
