Wet, salty drops glistened as they fell down the pale skin of a female with black hair, dark as night, escaping her deep brown eyes. She thought she was over the memories of her parents, but they were back to haunt her. Claire faintly remembered her first encounter with another half-blood, which just happened to be @damianwright, another male who attended her school and encouraged her to create Animalia Academy. But she couldn't help it. Her heart was wrenched apart, and Claire feared she would never find love. Would she? That was uncertain. Claire toyed with one of the lush flowers - a white rose - that grew tall and strong in the wide Greenhouse box. The student council member had believed she would be alone, but the clacking of shoes on concrete flooring proved otherwise. Yet Claire didn't hear it, even though she wasn't sobbing or crying. Just letting the pain go in desperate tears that stained her cheeks pink.

Trying to be silent was a lost cause. Damian had figured that out pretty quickly. The cast keeping his wing in place was too bulky for his taste, and though it kept the break from getting worse and actually was helping, it still hurt. Quite a bit. Painkillers could only do so much.
As for his left arm, it was just really sore. Really, really, really sore. It was being held up in a cloth slings, to keep it from moving a lot. His other hand was tucked in his right pocket. At least his eye was healing a lot faster. Seriously, Adam seemed to have a knack for hurting people where their eyes were. What was up with that?
Seeing as how Damian couldn't fly anymore, he seemed at a loss at what to do half the time. Drawing was considerably harder. Why not check out the greenhouse? Other than the fact that Claire might yell at him. He just would have to hope she wasn't there.

Damian managed a small smile back. He didn't want anyone to be worrying about how he was holding up. "Exploring. The most I can without getting into trouble, anyway," he explained. "Seems even then I run into the one person who could send me back to bed. If it helps, walking isn't what hurts. Everything else I try to do does, though." Still smiling, he let out a bit of a sigh and looked around a bit.
"Nice garden?"

Claire nodded to agree with his explanation. "yeah, I'd say so. Needs a bit of watering here and there," She said, then looked up, brown eyes slightly dull yet full of life in the dim light of the greenhouse. "And I wouldn't send you back, by the way. You need to stretch. It's as good for you as resting." She smiled, entwining her hands behind her back.

(Late reply is late. I got mah kitteh next to me as my RP-ing buddy. She's purring so much...awww~)
"Oh really?" Damian raised an eyebrow, then his smile faded and he sighed, moving his wings so that when he leaned against the wall they wouldn't be crushed. He winced a bit as the right one moved, but only for a moment. He hoped Claire hadn't seen it.
"What're you doing out here then?"

Claire nodded, a smile playing at the corners of her lips. But it quickly vanished at the mention of her reasons, only to be replaced with a fake smile. "I'm just walking, taking a break from tending to annoying people." She grinned, halfheartedly this time. "You?"
