Claire smiled, as usual, as she stepped into her office and slapped a file onto her desk to review later. Her thoughts raced as she remembered her acceptance to letting Angelica become a doctor. Patiently, she waited for her assistant in training to join her for their first training session.

Angelica smiled as she made her way down the corridor towards Claire's office. She had felt useless the last few weeks and she figured combining her boredom with the passion of helping people that becoming a doctor would be good for her. She finally made it and knocked lightly on the door before peeking in. "Hi Claire! Thanks again for this chance! I really appreciate it!" She beamed a smile she hasn't worn since the first few days when she first arrived to the academy.

Claire smiled and looked up from her desk. "It's an honor," She replied. "because soon we're gonna have a lot more players students using attending Animalia Academy. That means more injuries!" Claire motioned to a chair across from her desk and sat down in her own.
(Oh Gawd. I have dis short cuz I have to go. Again)

Oh dear." She chuckled. "Lets see. The basic drugs for headaches Advil, tynenal...." She went on to listening the different medicine for different symptoms.

"Good!" Claire said once she was finished. "You know most. I'm just testing your knowledge right now. It wont make me think any less of teaching you, so be honest. If someone came in with a broken arm, what should you do?"

Well I'd do an x ray to see what bones are broken. Set them in place and put a plaster cast on it." She replied

Claire nodded. "Yes, but you should also set bone filling if it's a large break. Hmm.." Claire rubbed her chin in thought. "Here's a scenario: A male gets in a fight with someone, and they end up with a broken leg, a crooked jaw, and cuts along his neck. Also, his girlfriend is freaking out and demands to see him while under procedure. What should you deal with first and how?"

"Okay," Claire replied, grabbing a large gel leg from a drawer of other gel body parts. She then selected a scaple from a drawer and made a large deep cut on the front of the leg, then passed it to Angelica along with a needle and thread. "Stitch this as though you would a real person." (remember that Angelica has to have SOME things she doesn't know  ) |

She nodded and took the leg. She carefully threaded the needle and begin to stitch the gash on the leg. Frowning once in awhile as she title her head. "I stink at sowing." She muttered

"That's alright," Claire assured. "Stitching a wound is only a little different from stitching clothing." She then picked up a second needle and thread and another leg, cut it, and tied a knot onto the needle. "You need to make sure the thread will stay on, but will come off when you need it to without injuring the patient." Slowly, carefully, Claire began closing the "wound", finishing only a few minutes later with bits of explanation.

Claire sat back, a thought playing at her mind, then pushed her rolling black chair over to a file cabinet and pulled out three different colored notebooks. Rolling back, she spread them on the desk in front of Angelica, the blue, black, and purple colors bright against the dark wood surface. "For taking notes," CLaire explained, gesturing for Angelica to pick one. "Whichever one you like. I've got more in my dorm."

Claire almost laughed, but settled for a grin. "well, how about you label as many body parts as you can on this sheet," She suggested, pulling out a large sheet of paper that had been laminated and a black expo marker. "In the mean time, I'm going to get a coffee. Want anything?"

Ten minutes later, Claire returned, two coffees and six creamers in hand. "I didn't know if you prefer it black or creamed, but here," She explained, setting the items on the table away from the laminated paper. Gingerly, she opened the lid off one cup and poured two cream servings in, stirred it, then popped the lip back on. "Mmm.." She murmured as she took a scolding sip.

Thanks." She smiled gratefully as she grabbed her own coffee and poured in three creams before stirring it and taking a tentative sip. "So when can I start taking care of actual patience? Like the minor stuff? Or am I going to be stuck with paperwork?" She teased

Sitting back up, Claire leaned over the laminated paper and began checking and circling answers, then explaining the details of it. "Mostly, you did well," She finished, handing Angelica a smaller version of it on letter paper. "If you want, you can copy the correct answers onto this and keep it in your notebook or a folder, or whatever."
