Sapphire O'Connor Shuffling down the beach was a boy with coffee-colored skin, lion ears and a lion tail. His smile was wide regardless of recent events, and in one arm he carried a large basket, and in the other, a thick blanket. Ben stopped most of the ways down the beach and set down the basket to one side. Then, he spread the blanket out over the hot sand and kicked his sandals off before sitting on it, to keep the sand off. From his basket, Ben withdrew a Tupperware container filled with a pinkish meat, another smaller container with ham, and a plate with cheese and bread on it. Setting two plates out, Ben left the food to one side to be accessed easily, and then pulled out two champagne glasses and a bottle of sparkling cider. The boy had left a note at Sapphire's door asking her to come to the beach at noon and to bring a suit just in case. He hoped his outfit would be appropriate for the beach and easy to change out of. Now all he could do is wait for his lover to come.

| Link fail | Sapphire walked down the beach towards Ben, whom she could easily spot because of his shaggy hair. She had gotten his note and was overexcited for this day. Sapphire made sure her baby blue lace dress was perfect and her hair wasn't messed up before calling out, "Hi Ben!"But wait- not everything was perfect for her. She had one big thought on her mind. She knew she needed to tell Ben she was an assassin if she was to ever date him. She knew Ben would really be perfect if he understood and still loved her for who she just happened to be.

Ben stood up as Sapphire called out his name. He nearly jumped out of his skin, and laughed at his own foolishness. There she was, more beautiful than ever, if that could even be possible, calling his name. Ben smiled and waved to her. When we get out of this, when the assassins are finished off, I might even marry her, he thought. It was a strange thought, maybe thinking too far ahead, but he had never loved a girl so much. And considering that lions mate for life, he wanted to choose the right girl. Ben waited for Sapphire to continue down the beach, smiling and overjoyed.
