As you all know, Claire is considered the principal now, and it's been a long time since we elected student council members. I decided it's time to elect some. Student council members are the ones that put on parties, act as role models for the school, help out around the school, etc, though are not equal to or above the power of the principal. There will be three total selected members. Here's how it will work:
1) Sign up a character of yours in this thread and post below. You will not have more than one character in the council. This is as though they came to Claire when she brought up the subject of student council members in a thread that will not be created for that purpose.
2) In a thread in the cafeteria, Claire will make an announcement during 'lunch' informing that students wanting to be in the running will come up and share a speech.
3) After all speeches are shared, I will apply a poll to the thread.
4) You will RP 'writing down' each of your character's votes and turning them in, then vote WITH EACH CHARACTER as though that were the real life poll, BUT WITH THE SAME BALLOT AS THE VOTE YOU'RE CHARACTERS CHOSE. Characters in the running may NOT vote
5) With the results of the poll in, Claire will 'count' votes. The student with the most votes will be chosen as student council president. They will be in direct leadership of the other two council members, which will be the two students that have the next highest poll voting.
RULES:
-All AA rules apply
-No poor OOC sportsmanship
-No changing votes ~ Once you vote, you can't edit posts or polls
-Base votes off your CHARACTER, not your own preferences. Remember that this is an in-character event
-I'm still in charge. Claire's the principal and founder of the school, and I'm admin. You still have to abide by rules and your character's personality
-Being a poor RPer, inactive a lot, or etc will get you booted out of the running and your position if necessary
-I forget things, so be reasonably, responsible, and don't make me have to call you out on anything that I forgot to mention here
-Character age minimum is 16
