I though it would be interesting if I posted the flaws my characters have that are part of what make them who they are. You are all welcome to post here, or just comment on mine!
Damian Wright's flaws are that he sees more people more than he sees himself. He puts them all above himself, and this isn't a complete flaw, but it puts him in situations that end up being harmful to him and to others. He worries more about others and wants to make sure they are always happy, and usually doesn't realize that things are wrong with him that cause him to be unhappy. Other people end up seeing it first, and he doesn't always know that in order to help them be happy he needs to help himself.
Almost the reverse is true for Cody West. As opposed to caring too much for others, he has tried to shut himself off from everyone else. He is too closed in on himself, and is trying to prevent himself from caring about anyone else because he is worried that they will disappear from his life or leave him alone like many others before. He doesn't reach out enough, while Damian reaches out a little too much.
Zachary doesn't trust easily. While in his family, this was a habit that helped him out, but now, he needs to learn how to let out his true personality, which is much more mellow than he lets on. He puts up an act whenever somebody else is around, making himself seem more ignorant and clueless, and doesn't know how to tell when to drop the act and just be himself.
Arthur's flaw could be his short temper, but that doesn't seem like the biggest flaw in his personality. I haven't explored my version of him enough to tell a lot about his personality, but he is quite determined to protect himself and others, which could get him hurt. He is stubborn, and can be quick to pull a gun at the drop of a hat. This combination of stubborn-ness and determination can cause him to push himself too far before he realizes that he can't do anything more without sacrificing something, his well-being, and possibly his life.
And Feliciano...ho boy. Sometimes he is too caring and trusting for his own good. Of course, there is that intelligence that tells him when he is getting to deep into something that will get him into trouble, but he doesn't always trust his better judgement. He forms bonds a little too easily, and sometimes with the wrong people. He becomes dependent on those people very quickly, and some day he's gonna lean on the shoulder of somebody who will leave him alone to fend for himself.
And because I can, I have tagged @taytay to do the thing, because I am interested in what she thinks of her own character's flaws. :3
