Snowy followed Angelica into the courtyard and quaked as a joke. It seemed really down there. "When are they gonna be here?" she moaned, as she was easily bored.

Rosemary walked around the halls, looking for Angelica. She was a little gloomy, having heard the news that Logan had left. Though he was her worst enemy, she felt a little alone not having anyone to fight with or get injured by. But anyway, she was happy she was seeing Angel.
She was about to turn the corner when she heard a quack and stayed back. Rosemary didn't know anyone that was half duck. She peeked one eye around the corner and saw a pretty young-looking girl. She was blonde and with a pink dress (sorry just basing description off of profile pic). Rosemary morphed into her cat form and casually walked down the hall, pretending to be a stray, hoping to not be noticed. She was eager to talk to Angelica but was a little afraid of the duck half-blood.

Snowy turned around and looked at a cat who was walking around. She started at hate herself. Why were there so many things she had to learn? First, she knew that there were half-bloods here, half animal, half-human, but, were there any full animals? Snowy was confused and confusion made her dizzy. She asked Angelica. "I know there are half-animal people here, but what about full animals?" it sounded stupid. Once again, Snowy didn't care. She got easily bored and got dizzy when she was confused. She was also a duck, a weird jumble of traits, so she was care-free, especially when she asked stupid questions.

She laughed softly. "Just be patient." She patted her head gently before turning to watch the cat pad over and grinned. "Yes Snowy there are full animals here too. Just random ones that pass by. But you can always tell by the vibe the two give off. And the look in their eyes. More intelligent then full animals." She offered scratching Rosemary's ear. "This is Rosemary Jackson. Rose this is Snowy. She's a new student here at the academy." She introduced the two with a small grin as she rose to her feet to watch the exchange.

|OHMEHGOSH SO SORRY IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO REPLY!! I was on an annual vacation in Yakima  | Claire never really roamed the school on all four paws. It wasn't... professional, she liked to think. Perhaps she was a little hard on herself, seeing as the spell didn't work (because SOMEONE decided to leave AA!!), and in general, wouldn't let herself rest, but that was the price to pay for being in charge of an entire academy. An academy full of government-hated half-bloods like herself. All of which she was responsible for. It helped having her boyfriend, Shawn, but she hadn't seen much of him lately. Maybe it was time to drag him out? And on Claire's end, things were a little awkward around Rosemary for her now; it had been Claire's idea to do the spell, and all that she had gotten out of it was lying to a few friends. And who wanted to be friends with someone of such high responsibility anyway? Oh yeah. Those people that wanted those perks. Lucky for Claire, though, as far as she knew, none of her few friends were like that. Ah, Logan had left. And magically, one other, if she recalled correctly. At least there wouldn't be worries of injuries anymore, and less alcohol use. Personally, Claire didn't like all the use of alcohol in the academy. She was considering holding a meeting with several others to discuss the matter of restricting it along side any other things that need be discussed. All of this ran through the Student Council President's head as she walked along the corridors of the school. By some luck, she happened to hear familiar voices further on. Well, at least one familiar voice and Claire's extremely keen sense of smell located one other - a half-blood cat - and someone.. tasty - er, barbecue duck. Ugh, I'm too hungry to meet people that would otherwise be my prey! Claire thought in mental agony. She hadn't eaten in two days, but she pretended she did around her friends so she didn't worry them. Claire just.. didn't want to deal with eating. It was hard. Life was hard. "Angelica! Rosemary!" Claire exclaimed, straight black hair swept behind her shoulders. Her long-sleeved red shirt was accompanied by a long black skirt that fluttered as she walked. A small gold chain held a large jade pendent, and her black ears twitched at the sight of a new student. Angelica must have just spoken, and Claire blushed because she was fairly certain she had just interrupted Rosemary, if she was about to speak. |

Snowy jumped back in surprise, then stepped forward and swept the dust off her dress. "These are your friends?" she asked, putting her hand out. A usual greeting Snowy did. Whenever she met someone new, she wanted them to shake her hand before she decided what kind of friend or enemy they would become. For a weird person, she had quite a formal way of greeting someone.

She nodded slightly and gave a welcoming smile to Claire. "Yes Snowy these are two of my closest gal pals." She smiled. "Girls this is one of the new students that recently joined."

Seeing as Rosemary wasn't going to type didn't reply, Claire turned back to the other two girls and smiled warmly.
"Nice to meet you, Snowy," the founder responded, tail twitching in joy; new people, at last! "I'm Claire. Don't mind my reputation; people think it means I'm mean. Anyway, getting settled in alright." Claire wasn't really sure what to say. Sometimes words spilled out of her mouth and she would just stand there and scold her brain. Idiot. Way to brag. Is it bragging to bring up being the Founder and Student Council president of the school? Yeah. It is. Crap. Claire blushed.
"Sorry, my mouth's a little ahead of my brain at times," She admitted.

Rosemary reluctantly morphed into her human form. She didn't know Snowy, though she knew she was a duck. "Hi... I'm Rosemary. Nice to meet you. And hey, Angelica. Oh, and hi Claire." She said, and mentioned the other two girls present. She quickly checked her outfit to make sure it was clean and presentable, then she stuck out her hand politely for Snowy to shake. |

Snowy tilted her head and steppped back. "What?" she whispered to Angelica, "I already introduced myself!" But Angelica was eager to have Snowy meet her friends. "So, apparently you're a cat," she pointed at Rosemary. "You're probably going to eat me because I'm a duck," Normally a duck was a good thing, they could fly and swim really fast. But not now. Not in the presence of a cat, arctic fox and a snow leopard? All of which could eat her. "Yay," she muttered to herself. "I'm dinner,"

Claire smiled and nodded, worried Snowy thought she was serious. "Well, anything interesting going on?" she asked, embarrassed. Starting conversations was not one of her strong points.

"Yes, I'm a cat. And no, I'm not going to eat you. In fact, I'm kind of afraid of ducks. They quack loud and snap fast, and it scares me a little." Rosemary snapped. What was it with all this "prey and predator" stuff? It bugged her, how Snowy was mentioning it again and again. "No one's going to eat you here. We're all friends, I guess." Rosemary muttered.

"She's just joking, Rose," Claire said, attempting to give her friend a light bump with her elbow and trying to make eye contact for the telepathic don't be a jerk she's knew and is shy message. Smiling at the joke, Claire turned back and just stood there awkwardly.

Angel frowned at the tension in the air as she glanced between Rose and Minty. She also looked at Claire and shuffled over. Nudging her lightly with an elbow and gave her a small smile. "Not exactly how I expected this meeting to go down huh?" She mumbled. "You ok Claire?...you seem. Bit....distant." She mused

Claire blinked. There was no way Angelica could read her mind, but was it that obvious that Kevin's resurrection bothered her? And that she was nervous to announce it? Perhaps. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Just haven't seen Shawn in a while and it's getting to me," she said; and it was true, too. "And yeah, not great." Claire wanted to say more, but she couldn't be sure how good Rosemary's hearing was, and didn't want to say allowed what she was thinking: Something seemed to be up with Rosemary.

She heard Angelica and Claire mumble and felt guilty for snapping. She had also seen Claire's death glare message. Rosemary understood that Snowy was new and probably shy. Rosemary was like that too when she first came, and sometimes she still could get shy. But she wasn't exactly fond of Snowy's humor at the moment, despite the fact that she liked a sense of humor. Snowy's jokes just weren't appealing to her at the time. Rosemary heard Snowy snort and instantly frowned angrily. "It's not wrong to be scared of a duck, if that's what you're saying. Everyone has their fears. And the quack was for laughs? What the heck? What if people don't laugh? Huh? Then it's not that funny!" She almost yelled. This wasn't the best position for her to be at right now. If Rosemary stayed here, she would get out of control again and actually yell at Snowy, or Claire, or Angelica, and she could possibly hurt them. "I gotta go. See you. Angelica, Claire... Snowy." She directed her eyes in another direction and morphed into her cat form and started to slowly trot away from the group, her tail in between her back legs. | Wow... Snowy jumped back in surprise. She had to set things right. Snowy raised her hand and stepped forward, it didn't help that she had a crazy grin on her face. "Ok, I'd have to admit, being scared of ducks is not as weird as me," Snowy still had that strange grin on her face. "Angelica here," she waved her hand towards her friend, "brought me here to meet you guys so you'd want to know why I'm just as insane as anyone here," Snowy still had that grin on her face. She'd had a crazy smile on for so long, it might make her seem more weird. "Ok, for starters, I'm easily bored and impatient, like, If I stand in one spot with nothing to to for like, 30 seconds, I'll be bored. I also get dizzy when I'm confused, so don't confuse me!" Snowy laughed good-naturely.

She looked concerned at Claire and patted her shoulder sensing there was more but understood now was not to time to talk about it. The wolf's blood boiled though when Rose started yelling. Geez what happened to everyone around here? She hated the tension. "Guys that is enough!" She said in a commanding authoritative tone as she flicked her serious gaze between the stalking away Rose and the insanely smiling Snowy. "Snowy don't take it personally the things she said alright? No ones been themselves as of late." She sighed patting her head. "Rose I don't know what the heck is your problem but I won't have you go snapping at other people like that. Get your act together." She called sternly before turning to Snowy and Claire. "Why don't you go back to your dorm Snow? I'll come pick you up soon and then we can go have a snack in the cafeteria ok? And in the meantime," she turned to Claite. "Claire we will need to talk." She stated softly.

What. The actual. Heck. Is up with that woman!? Claire wondered, awestruck that her friend would say such things. Thoughts and other words were thrown together in a blur too fast for Claire to respond to, but finally, after Rosemary left, things settled a little. Tension still hung in the air, but at least things were better; hopefully.
Claire nodded in agreement to Angelica's first thought, and accepted that they may have wanted some time alone, but frowned a little at the next comment. "O-okay?" Claire stuttered, nervous for what Angelica had to say. Please don't smell my fear-scent, please don't smell my fear-scent! Claire willed, hoping that book she read on animals' sense of smell was a phony so her nervous unease wasn't too... noticeable.
"I'll meet you by the lake. Nice to meet you, Snowy." With a wave and a smile, she walked away, half sulking inside. Maybe it's just a party invitation? she thought, though her hoping didn't help.
