Rayne was born in a big city that was divided by gang wars. The half-blood wolves had a large part of the city and the one rule was that all half-blood wolves had to join in. So when Rayne was young enough to understand she was taken in as one of the pack members and started to train to be one of their ranks. Ray's mother, Lucy, was a human and didn't want Rayne going into such things. In a furious and saddened rage she left Ray and her father(Fang) with Rayne's siblings in her belly. Still, Ray didn't mind not having her mother around, she had her father and they lived together in the gang life. Then, Rayne lost her father in a battle as he protected Rayne and their home. As a result she was forced to move in with her two aunts and cousin. It wasn't a bad life, her aunts were hopeless wolves but they could hold their own in a fight. As for her cousin, Sarah, she was a weak little thing that always seemed to be hiding behind Rayne. Rayne never had the right influences in her life and because of this she didn't do good things. She was falling school because she never paid attention and skipped classes. She would always goof off with her friends, but she did well in the pack. She defended their territory just like her father did. She was on the way to being a beta in the pack until her mother decided to give a surprise visit. She had signed Rayne up for a half-blood school and said she wanted a better life for her daughter. She told the story how Rayne's yougner brother had been born with ears and a tail and how they had taken him away from her. Lucy was unsure where they had taken him and couldn't get him back. Rayne refused her mother and how she wanted to control her life, but in the end Rayne was left with no choice and ended up on the bus to the new school.
