| Ah, it's been a while since I've roleplayed this little one. | Rosemary, in her white dress and white sandals, stepped into the music room and looked around. There were some empty spaces but musical instruments as well. There didn't seem to be any people, but despite, she was still cautious. Who knew when the next assassin could strike? An empty spot against a wall was quickly spotted and she sat there, outstretching her legs along the marble floor. She straightened the skirt of her dress. Doing a double check to see if there was anyone in the room, before singing Safe & Sound by Taylor Swift. Even though she didn't have a guitar to accompany the song, she felt like she was doing good without.

|LOL, actually a Civil Wars song that Taylor sang with them, but okay | Music, fairly well but not perfect to a violinist's ears, drew Opal to the room. She hadn't been without a mask in a while, and it felt good to be free, even if it meant keeping an act that felt uncomfortable under her skin. Music tended to draw Opal in. She was like that. Silently, she twisted the knob of the slightly-soundproof door and pushed her way in to the fairly new room. The young girl poked her head in, and nearly reeled back instantly. Rosemary Opal hadn't thought she would see her any time soon. She swallowed, hard, and slid in, violin case held tightly in her hand. At the end of the song, Opal licked her lips and rubbed the back of her neck, wondering if she should just go. Finally, awkwardly, she clapped, honestly, side-french-braided black hair swept around her shoulders and down her hip. "Eh, I just heard you from outside. I hope y-you don't mind.." Opal half-grinned, stepped back. "I-I can just.. I can go.."

| I know, I just wasn't sure whether or not to say it was with Civil Wars | | Lol sorry | "It's... you..." She stared at Opal, not knowing what to do. Opal had scarred her, but Rosemary forgave her. What was she supposed to do now? "It's alright. Come in. Long time, no ch... ch... chat." Her glance fell downward, to her dress. She didn't get up, offer Opal a seat, or anything. It seemed she was generous enough to forgive her.

Opal pulled on her long-sleeved black shirt collar, feeling awfully warm all of a sudden. The image on the shirt depicted a howling wolf, it's head illuminated in the large full moon over it's head, it's paws planted firmly to the rocks but it's eyes longing for something, for anyone to restore hope and to fill the gap that was loneliness. The human chewed her lip, sat against the wall, her milky brown eyes focused on her night-blue nails, legs in skinny jeans drawn to her chest and her elbows rested aimlessly on her knees, fingers toying with each other as though they didn't know how to sit. "So I hear there's a concert coming up," Opal said, trying to break the intense, awkward silence that was regret and fear and hope and sorrow. "Are you... Are you going?"

(AND I WILL NOW JOIN)
La la la, Lusaki was enjoying life and its pleasures. She had heard there was a music room that Sunny was too lazy to make until now and Lusaki wanted to investigate. Her hair, normally down, was put into pigtails (which wasn't much, because her hair was rather short) and her clothing consisted of a t shirt and baggy pants. Skipping through the halls, Lusaki found a room that said: "Music Room" Lusaki, happy that she found it, decided to look. So she stepped in, and Lo, a treasure she found! Opal, in skinny jeans and a pretty shirt of a howling wolf, and some other girl with white sandals and a nice white dress. And cat ears. And a tail. The two seemed to be conversing. "Can I join your conversation?" Lusaki asked, pretending that she only knew Opal as Opal.

| a) When you put that comment in slashes like this, it seemed a little offensive. Even though the comment wasn't directed at me. Sunny was probably busy replying to threads and forgot to make the music room, not because she was lazy. | b) Rosemary has cat ears, but she doesn't have a tail. |
"I don't know." Rosemary replied to Opal. "I might, to hear other people sing... but, I might not, considering you and some other assassins might be around." Her neutral expression was gone- she was now wearing a frown and inside, she was a little angry. It was hard to go anywhere anymore because, at least to her, it always felt like the assassins were on her back. Maybe it was just her, because she was injured by the assassins, but still it would be a completely reasonable feeling for anyone else at the academy.
She turned to see a little girl approaching. Rosemary wasn't quite sure if she had met the girl, because if she had, she probably wouldn't have remembered. But the air tinged with a scent of familiar when she had entered. "Not to be rude, but have I met you?" Rosemary turned her direction towards the girl. "It seems I have, but I can't remember."

The assassin let a tear loose, careful not to let Rosemary see. When the girl did turn, she whipped it away and met Lusaki's gaze with an Oh, really!? I was trying to have a friendly conversation with someone I nearly killed! look. But she shrugged, looked to Rosemary for her opinion, a blank expression on her apologetic face

(oh oops I didn't know that.)
She looked back at Opal. No fair, you tried to kill me, too! Lusaki then looked at the new girl. "Nope, you don't. Maybe you met someone who's similar to me." Lusaki sat on a chair and smiled. "I am Lusaki Yomo, half all-bats-in-general. So um... were you guys talking about the concert? I think they made a poster about it..." Lusaki smiled again.

Rosemary didn't smile. She knew the girl seemed kind, but she didn't feel the need to show any emotion. "Nice to meet you Lusaki." She said. "Yeah, we were talking about... about... about the concert."

Lusaki could be trusted. Right? It was the only thing Opal could think about. It pained her to be the only one that knew that Rosemary knew who Shadow really was that was a victim. Raising her gaze to meet Lusaki's steadily, she smiled halfheartedly. "Lusaki, uh... Rosemary knows. She was..." She looked up, too a breath, raised her hand to comfort the pink-haired girl, then decided against it. "She was the first one." Opal dropped her gaze again, focused on her violin, wishing she could play and drowned out the sound of her own guilt and awkwardness.

Lusaki blinked. "First what?" she asked. Then it hit her. "Oh. Oh...." That was awkward. "Um..." Lusaki bit her lip, and looked from Rosemary to Opal. "Uh... So are you guys going to the concert?" She smiled, trying to brighten things up.

Rosemary looked away from the two. Opal sparked the memory again for Rosemary, and it was painful.
"Just let me go! I want to see Adam!"
"Please, he's the center of my life- don't injure or kill him, please."
Tears streamed down her face, tears she couldn't help. Those memories scarred her, everyone knew. Well, everyone knew she was scarred- they didn't know the exact words that did it.
"No. I'm not going." Rosemary said, refusing to look at either of them. At this rate she didn't care if her dress was stained with tears. At this rate she didn't care if Opal and Lusaki found her weird or emotional.
She was scarred, and that wasn't something she could help.

"I'm going," Opal admitted, trying to block out the sounds of crying and the heartache Rosemary must feel. She couldn't help the pain in her own chest, or the tears that she herself felt. Opal remembered Rosemary trying to be her friend, the threats, the truth. The hurt.

Lusaki bit her lip. "I uh... I'm a victim too.... Uh.... do you want a cookie?" Lusaki took out a clear baggie from the bag in the back of her belt. Inside in contained chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, and double fudge rainbow. "I um.. made them myself... They taste yummy...." She took one out and handed it to Rosemary.

You're a victim too? Did you get drug into a base and get tied to a pole? Did you have to confess about all your friends? Did you scream and cry to see your boyfriend? Huh, did you? No! You didn't! Because you're just a half-bat little girl! Everyone takes pity on you! You have no idea what the real world is like! Rosemary wanted to scream at poor Lusaki in rage.
Instead, she wiped her tears from her face and caught her breath, looking back up at Lusaki and Lusaki only. "Thanks, but no thanks. You're very kind though." She smiled half-heartedly. "I just ate at the cafeteria, so I'm not very hungry." She added a lie to make sure she didn't seem rude.

Opal gulped silently to hold back the tension that was boiling inside her, the contorted pain written so clearly on Rosemary's face to her observant eyes, the obvious lies that were boiling to replace those relieved. She shook her head, literally placing herself between the two. "Lusaki's not a victim. I took pity. I'm human. I'm still something that could be felt as compassion, but it's buried, and I don't know how to find it. I can't stop, Rosemary, this is part of me, my father's war that's my own, and I hate it. I do. I want to be your friend, I want to love, I want to feel powerful without the beating remembering of what I have done. I hate myself, Rosemary, and for God's sake, for you're, I'm sorry." There were tears, genuine and honest and painful. Guilt and regret pressing through Opal's eyes and a fire lit to engulf any pity she could muster.

Lusaki, though momentarily disappointed because she kinda took that personally, continued smiling and then turned to listen to Opal. "Well, maybe if you wanted to be a friend, you should smile! You know, if you don't cry then maybe someone will be your friend. Besides, they-" Lusaki stopped trying to comfort Opal, realizing she probably wasn't helping in any way. "D-Do you want a cookie?"

Anger. Boiling fury. They fumed inside of Rosemary. Yes, Opal was apologizing. But she had no idea what life was like for Rosemary, before and after her captivity. She could never apologize and mean it.
But she saw Opal's tears. A contorted sort of regret started to replace the anger. But no. Rosemary may have said she forgave her at the time, but she realized now it was a lie. The scars placed she would bare forever.
"The scars placed I will bare forever." She whispered. Then she stood and spoke a little louder.
"If you were sorry, you would stop terrorizing the half-bloods at this ACADEMY!" She screamed the last word of her sentence. Anger flaming inside of her, her face turning bright red, she started heading towards the door, tear-stained white dress and all.

Opal stood and took a step back, eyes flashing around the room just in case. She ignored Lusaki's offer, took shaky shallow breaths, pleaded with Rosemary. "I can't win with you, Rosemary! If your stubborn enough to think I'm not sorry, then there's no way I should be bothered to try and stop."

Lusaki stayed silent. "I think you two should just calm down." she said quietly. "Then maybe things would be easier."

"No, Lusaki! That's not how it works! You can't be scarred by someone and still be calm about it!" She couldn't hold in anger anymore. It wasn't Lusaki's fault; she was just too young to understand. But Rosemary still snapped- sadly she felt no regret.

Lusaki just stared at Rosemary. As of being from a village with no sociability, Lusaki had no idea what Rosemary was talking about, and gave the most dumbfounded stare. "What's even the point of conversing if you guys hate each other?" she said quietly.

Opal blinked a tear. The drop slid down her cheek and onto the floor. "Lusaki... Go. I'll get you later," Opal said over her shoulder, blocking the door so she could talk to Rosemary. Then, turning back to the pink-haired girl, she drew a breath and let it out, closer her eyes, opened them. "What do you want? A safe haven for you and Adam? Money? Medical upgrades? I can't live in regret. I need to do something to know that what I will do will later on will not be completely harm."

Rosemary sighed. Was Opal going to pin her in the music room forever? She had just come in to sing, let her heart free without anyone seeing, yet she got this. "Honestly, I want to forget you ever hurt me. I want to forget myself screaming for my boyfriend. I want to forget the way you treated me. I want to see my friends more. I want to see Adam more. I want to marry him because I love him so much. But no, I can't forget what you've done, because it's taken its toll, and it will possess me for the rest of my life."She felt like she wanted to shove Opal into a guitar and trap her in it forever. She felt like she wanted to get rid of all the assassins and have life the way it was before. Maybe then the academy would be cheerful again. But wait- had she said... Safe haven? For her and Adam? That wouldn't be so bad. Opal, Rosemary and Adam could all work together to build an underground hangout, but only open to the couple. An HD television to watch TV shows, and a kitchen and dining room so they could have romantic dinners. It would be like a mini-dorm for two people, with two bedrooms so they could stay in the hangout overnight if needed. It was a brilliant idea, and Rosemary blurted it out before she could stop herself. "But an underground safe haven hangout would be nice, for me and Adam only."Rosemary's smile grew just thinking about the idea. She loved it! Wait until I tell Adam! She thought. She was smiling mentally, too. If Adam wanted to be safe, Rosemary was certain he would agree to the idea. But would he trust Opal? She would have to check with him and bring up the idea. I need to build that safe haven!| MUST. DO. SAFE. HAVEN. |

Surprised, Opal nodded vigorously without really knowing what Rosemary meant. Then, thinking, she narrowed her eyes. "Like... Kinda like my base? But... safe?" She confirmed, drawing a piece of paper from a shelf and a pen nearby. I'll have to plan this out I suppose, she thought, readying to take notes.

| Lol I don't know about the stalker thingy... BUT I'M SO FRICKEN EXCITED | "Yeah, like your base! It would be classy, with dark brown hardwood floors and white walls. There would be an HD television and a comfy couch in one corner. Then there would be a kitchen, with an oven and refrigerator and everything, and then a dining table about five feet long with only two chairs at opposite ends of the table (like in the Blank Space music video). There'd be two bedrooms, one for me and one for Adam, with closets too!" She explained excitedly, a stupid grin plastered to her face. Her cheeks hurt, she was smiling so much. She was also doing awkward hand motions as she spoke. But she didn't care. This would be the best idea Rosemary had- ever! Then a last idea popped into her head that she hadn't thought of before. "And a space for ballroom dancing!"

Opal winced, a kind of worried, guilty look that hopefully wouldn't catch Rosemary's attention. That could take years to build, she thought, biting her lip but scribbling down the notes carefully. Sitting back, she rubbed her thumb against her wrist, where a little infinity symbol was tattooed perfectly. But I keep my promises. "I'll do my best," Opal admitted, rubbing the tattoo harder with her discomfort. "But you realize I may have trouble building it, right? It can't be too elaborate."

| Okie. I shall choose wisely | She frowned, but then mentally looked over her plan. It did seem like a lot, now that she revisited it. Maybe she should just pick what was most important. "You're right." Rosemary wiped away her old base idea mentally, and started fresh. She built a new base in her mind, and spoke as she did. "How about we have carpet floors with white painted walls, a cooler, a small table, a couch, and two small bedrooms with no closets? And each bedroom would only be able to hold a single-sized bed. Is that cutting it down a little?" She smiled a little bit, hoping they could get started as soon as possible.
