| I had an excessive load of homework and wasn't able to get on. | "GET OFF OF ME!" Sapphire yelled at Opal, attempting to push her off with all the strength she could muster. Opal was so stupid. It was just a little girl. What importance did she make in Opal's life? Why was she oh-so-special? It was something Sapphire just could not comprehend. "Fine. Favor that girl. But you can't protect her for long." She growled at Opal, glaring at her. She paused to pick up her katana and slip it back into its sheath. "When you decide you want to be yourself again, come and talk to me." She growled as she stormed away from Opal and Lusaki in frustration she had never felt before. Even the time when Lusaki had escaped her she wasn't that angry. Opal just wasn't what she was when Sapphire had met her, and she needed to find out why Opal favored Lusaki. But not then, not now. She was too angry, and if she talked any longer, who knows what she or Opal would do?

(THERE YOU ARE. At first I thought you said flavor the girl, I was like, "I'M NOT YOUR FOOD.")
Lusaki quivered, very confused. She looked Marie, who seemed to storm off like an upset toddler. Then there was Opal, suddenly becoming like a protective mother. Lusaki didn't know how to react. Should she attempt to fight off? No, Opal had to be still nice. Could she run? Yea, she could, but both assassins could catch up to her. I could just stay here and die. Lusaki was stuck to the ground, paralyzed, afraid.

| If Sapphire stormed off I don't think there's much to say from her prespective so do you and Sunny want to continue the thread? |

(I do want to point out that, Kat, you did power play indirectly by assuming that Sapphire was able to push Opal away and storm off. Please keep that in mind for future RP) (Lets wrap this up)
Opal didn't budge. Not until she had heard Marie's acceptance of Opal's protection over Lusaki, did she step back and, breathing deeply to conceal her anger, watch the woman stomp off. After a moment or two, she turned to Lusaki, cast a guilty glance, and tossed her knife to the side to show she meant no harm, and drew in a deep breath. "I'm sorry."

Lusaki stared at Opal. "S-Sorry.... You did so many things to prove your inability of compassion, and your sorry?" Lusaki was about to let herself roll into a rage that probably would send everyone running and screaming. But she calmed herself. "I... You..." Tears streamed down her face. "I know your so nice... and I promise I won't tell anyone... but... It's just... you're evil now... And I..." She swallowed. "Then promise me you'll teach me to fight like you."
(what am I doing)

Opal took a breath, looked over Lusaki like she had just awoken to a nightmare. "I'm not.. I'm not evil, I just-" She stopped, thought, closed her eyes. "Okay. Where we first met. Every Sunday. Starting tomorrow."

Lusaki smiled a bit... then got up. "I promise I won't tell anyone..." She murmured.... then took a few steps back to see what Opal would do.
(well that changed easily)

Opal smiled more broadly. "I'll see you then." Then, picking up her mask delicately and stuffing it into her belt pouch, she took off to rest and recover emotionally in her base room. |-END THREAD -
