Brenda looked up from her nails, which she had been picking at to keep her mind off all the conversations that were being shared. She smiled at the boy, who sat next to her with a kind of insecurity that her squirrel senses could pick up. "Hi!" Brenda said, but before she could say any more, another girl had joined them. "I don't think so," Brenda agreed, suddenly shy again. Come one, be brave! her human consciousness willed. "Uh, I'm Brenda, half squirrel, if you can't tell," Brenda continued to both people, motioning to her fluffy tail.

(Apologies for VERY late reply, I've been pretty busy.)
Damian hadn't heard the "boyfriend" comment and was confused when Cecelia got all red. "Did I miss something?" he asked innocently, completely unaware of what had just happened. He shrugged it off and smiled again.
"Well, I guess I do kind of look like a magician..." he commented, waving his staff. "I don't blame you, this costume is kind of nerdy, I didn't expect anyone to get it, anyway." He brushed dust off his shoulders self-consciously, shuffling on his feet nervously. His cheeks became slightly pink and he started averting his gaze away from Cecelia.
"So...ahem..." he started awkwardly. "Would you like to...maybepossiblyperhaps dance? With me?"

Cecelia tipped her hat up so it wouldn't be covering half of her face anymore. She shook her head and patted her friend on the back, smiling a victory smile. "Don't worry about it~" she giggled and bounced happily. Phew! That was close. Oh, well. It's not like he would've caught onto it. It took him forever to tell Cecelia how he felt.
Damian began to explain his costume to her. He could've easily been mistaken for a magician by anybody. Nerdy, huh? "I like it. It's cool in a nerdy kind of way." She was being honest. Damian looked dashing in his Prince of Spades costume. Cecelia let out a sigh but it was a good sigh and she stood there, watching everyone else have fun. It didn't take much to make her happy.
Her green eyes widened and she looked at Damian with a surprised look on her face. "Y-You want to dance.. with me?" Well, duh! It's like I asked him the question he asked me. "Um.. Okay." Cecelia turned to the vampire girl with white hair and green eyes except she had red contacts on that day for the party. "I'll be right back, Nyth." She turned back to Damian and made a gesture to the large, open space out on the floor. "Shall we?"

(I AM SO INCREDIBLY SORRY FOR THE INCREDIBLY LATE REPLY OMG I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AHDIAOHGDIAOHGDFHUSOHFIOSFH wellitmighthavebeentumblr BUT IM STILL REALLY SORRY AHHH)
Damian blushed a little more as Cece repeated the question. It sounded so stupid and gushy when she said it out loud. The teen casually fluffed up his feathers a bit more, raising them up half in an effort to hide behind them. (sometimes I swear to gad I forget he has wings omg) He averted his gaze, his face still red, and he shrugged as though it wasn't a big deal.
"Well, you don't have to," he mentioned. "I don't know why you would...want to...dance with me...haha..." But when he heard the answer he immediately perked up.
"Really?!" he almost jumped off the floor, and his eyes were bright at the thought. He followed Cecelia onto the floor and held out a hand for her to take. He knew how to dance okay, his parents had taught him that much. "It's kind of funny since you are a pirate and I'm a prince...weird combination."

Hey, don't worry about it. It was worth waiting anyway. Cece and Dami are just so cute!)
"U-Um.. Is it weird for friends to dance together?" Or, is it weird for a half-blood to dance with a human? Cecelia wouldn't want the others to think so lowly of Damian if that was the case. But, that thought never came to her mind. She giggled her answer, "Haha~ Yes, of course! Why not?"
Cecelia smiled as Damian followed her out onto the dance floor. She did a curtsy before she reached out and took the handsome prince's hand. The pirate girl pulled in close to Damian and placed her other hand on Damian's shoulder. She blinked her big, bright green eyes at the boy in front of her. "Hm? I guess so..." Weird combination.. It wasn't any different with a half-blood and a human *cough* Cece and Dami *cough* especially if the humans and half-bloods were having trouble getting along.
The royal family thinking of pirates to be nothing but savage thieves and a prince meeting a bubbly pirate girl. "You can go search for your princess but tell me this. What is the pirate and prince's ending? Or, if the prince does not wish to search any higher or lower for his princess, would it only be the beginning for the opposites?
I want to know their story." Her eyes grew soft as she gazed into his blue ones. She entwined her fingers with Damian's and slowly danced with him, letting him take the lead. Cecelia was so happy. It felt so right dancing with Damian. It was like she belonged there with Dami.
I want to know our story..
(I just had to! I thought it was so adorable<3)

( AHHHHHHH. AHH. AH. AH. /unintelligible noises that express how adorable that is/ MY GOSH THAT IS CUTE )
Damian couldn't keep himself from smiling as he eased them into the basic steps of the dance. Cecelia herself was a fairly good dancer, swaying to the beat softly. He tried leading her into a small twirl as they danced, listening to what she send with a slight "hmm" of acknowledgement.
For a moment Damian wondered whether the girl was truly asking about nothing more than a story, but slowly he realized it wasn't just the pirate and the prince Cece wanted to know about. It was them. How was their story supposed to end? Had it even truly begun? What did she want Damian to say?
"Hmm..." he hummed thoughtfully, half to himself. "If the prince loves the pirate, why should he find a princess? Nobody should be divided just because they are different. I've never seen the point in it."
"So...I guess...it might be hard for them in the beginning, maybe the prince is a bit shy and doesn't know completely how to go about it...but in the end the fact that he loves her anyway means that after they figure everything out it just makes their relationship that much stronger. They'll find a way around the barrier, they just need to believe they can."
( /throws at you/ soooo kawaii )

(Ahhh! No! I'm allergic to kawaiiness xD Just kidding! Even if I was, I will keep the kawaii moments going until it kills me lol. Hehe~ And, I'm glad you liked it.)
There was a small, sweet smile on her face. Her eyes didn't dare to leave his for a second. Cece was impressed by Dami's smooth dance moves, and he looked pretty confident of himself. That could only mean two things. Dami was over her or he was starting to accept his feelings for her. It doesn't matter either way. I'm happy that I made the mistake of coming here. I have great friends and Dami... I got to meet him and fall in love with him. She felt Dami raise his hand up with hers and that told her to twirl. Cece performed a small twirl and reunited back with her partner, her hand in his and the other rested on his shoulder. Dami was a good dancer and that made her feel a bit challenged. Her father had taught her how to dance. Yes, she was a daddy's girl. There was something about dancing that her father told her.
It was something about her finding a certain someone through dancing. He told her that she would know if that special someone was the one for her. The dance would feel perfect with that special someone like they were dancing together in their own little world, blocking everything else out. Just the two of them... Nah, it couldn't have been true but it felt like it. Cece leaned in a little closer as Dami prepared his reply with a "hmm.." Was he really thinking about it!? She kind of hoped he would catch onto it and then again it wouldn't surprise her if he didn't catch onto it.
"O-Oh, well, if the prince l-loves the pirate... then I guess he doesn't need a princess. But, you know, a prince and princess are the perfect combination. Or, that's how the story is supposed to go." Not every prince had to be matched with a princess. Not every princess had to be matched with a prince. Cece decided to wait until Dami was done telling the story of the prince and the pirate girl. It didn't have to be about them. She just wanted to know what he thought about it, and she was in the mood to hear a good story. She nodded every once in a while and continued to listen to him.
Oh! There it is. In the end, the fact that the prince loves the pirate means that after they figure everything out it just makes their relationship that much stronger. That really spoke to her. And, the part where there was a barrier they could overcome as long as they believed they could. "I'm confident that the pirate would take the chance. Will her shy prince take it?"

[[ AHH LATE REPLY! I'M SO SORRY!! ]] Damian gave Cece a small smile again, a tiny blush coming across his cheeks. He had never believed that anyone should be apart just because others usually didn't make the same choices. If the two loved each other, why should they be kept apart by stereotypes? Why wouldn't the prince be willing to give up his class for his love? Why wouldn't the pirate be willing to? Is it even love if you aren't willing enough to sacrifice the little things to be together? "Well if you are talking about the same pirate and prince that I am, then yes," he answered. "He will. Does that mean you're ready to...?" ... "...Cece..." he murmured quietly, stopping his dancing for a bit so he could look into her green eyes- her beautiful green eyes -"...would you like to...be my girlfriend?"

Cecelia sighed with relief that the prince would take the chance. "Good.. Because I don't think that would be a happy ending for the pirate. She enjoys having the prince in her life but sometimes wishing to risk their close friendship and becoming something more.."
It was some deep stuff they were talking about. She was surprised that Damian was actually catching onto it and maybe expressing some of his feelings through the story about the prince and the pirate girl. Suddenly, Damian was leading to something. Her eyes widened when she predicted what Damian was trying to say.
Was he really going to do it? Her hands shook a little out of nervousness and her face was turning dark red across her cheeks. She tried to relax herself, listening carefully to what he were saying. "D-Dami..." she blushed and gave his hand a gentle squeeze, shifting her green gaze up and looking into his eyes.
His bright blue eyes were so mesmerizing. His gaze was so gentle and His smile looked so innocent. Cecelia took notice of everything that was written on his face, trying to figure it all out at once. Cecelia realized it was true just by gazing into his eyes. The answer was right there. Her heart skipped a beat and tears started to well up in her eyes. Ah, the feelz were so adorable!
"Y-Yes." She sniffled and cried softly with tears of happiness. I'm such a sob for stories with happy endings! "I'd really like that. It sounds like a happy beginning for the pirate and the prince. I'm so happy."
Cecelia smiled sweetly and slowly wrapped her arms around him. "I-Is this okay?" Of course it was! They had hugged before as just friends. It would be more than okay since they were officially a couple. Her face turned redder and she tried to hide it by burying her face in his chest.

[[ Did you think I was done with kawaii? Ohhoho no. I'm only getting started. ]]
"Woah, woah, calm down," said Damian, starting to panic a little bit at the sight of Cecelia crying. "H-hey, if it's too much I can still wait- oh."
She had said yes. She had just said yes. After months of waiting, worrying, and hoping he had finally spoken up and she had said yes. Damian had thought of everything coming up to this point, and now that it had come...well from now on Damian was improvising.
He hadn't had time to say much of anything else before Cece started hugging him and he immediately became a deep shade of red. He blinked before hugging her back, smiling faintly.
"Of course that's okay," he mentioned. "Hey Cecelia...can I try something?"
[[ //wiggles eyebrows suggestively YOU KNOW WHAT I'M PLANNING HEHEHEH ]]

(Oh, god xD Just- GAH! So much kawaii but not too much kawaii lol. There can never be too much kawaiiness.) Cecelia was emotional like most girls. She knew that would get Dami worked up, but she couldn't hold back the waterworks She tried to and she did manage to cry softly. It wasn't the fact that it was too much for her. It was just a big surprise to her that Dami actually asked her out. She was so worried about her decisions. What happened with Kevin, and she didn't want to be with Dami. Cecelia was scared that it would ruin their friendship. It also didn't make much sense to her so that confused her, and it made her frustrated that she was confused. She shook her head immediately and she smiled sweetly, gazing into your eyes. "N-No.. I don't want to wait anymore. I know that I can do this as long as you're by my side." Her smile grew bigger as he returned the hug. Cecelia gasped and pulled away from Damian a little, but she was still in his arms. "I-I'm sorry! I probably messed up your costume." She checked to see if she had done that. She was so sorry for getting his costume a little wet with her tears. As she was panicking, Damian asked her if he could try something. What did he mean? Cecelia looked into his eyes and slowly started to relax. "U-Uh... Yes. What is it?" (No way! Is he gonna- Eek! I think I know what it is! A kiss from her prince possibly<3)

[[<.< Maybe.... >.> ]]
Damian smiled a bit and put his hand under her chin, tilting it up a little with a gentle movement. He gazed into her emerald (and he noted, tear-filled) eyes that sparkled (my god this is so much smooshy smoosh fluff I'm really close to gagging xD ) when she smiled.
He paused for a few moments...and then he kissed her.
Right on the lips.
Right there.
In front of everyone.
He was going to regret this as soon as somebody slapped him across the face for it.

(Hehe~ It's about time! xD)
The happy tears finally disappeared. Thank goodness because she was probably scaring Damian. Nah, it was just Cece being her emotional self. It wasn't her fault. She really liked happy endings. The prince and pirate could fight through all odds and remain strong together. They would stand as one now... Her smile disappeared and stayed as a small smile on her face. Her right hand lifted up and touched the hand that tilted her head up a little. She let her hand fall back down to her side, closing her eyes as Damian leaned in closer. The human girl knew what was going to happen, but she was still surprised by it. Those few moments that Damian had paused... Cecelia opened her eyes and she was about to say something, but Damian had already stolen her first kiss. Her green eyes widened in shock at Damian's actions. His lips were soft and it felt kind of wrong but so right.
There they were. Taking a chance to get over that barrier that had separated them apart for each other. She closed her eyes and hesitated as she wrapped her arms around his neck, standing up on her toes so Damian wouldn't have to bend down to reach her short level of height. Cecelia kissed him back softly and savored the sweet kiss... The pirate girl pulled away slowly, breaking the kiss between them and setting herself back on her feet completely. She looked up at her prince and smiled at him, blushing lightly but it was still kind of noticeable. "S-So, it's official..." Dami and Cece.. Cecelia liked the thought of that. Of course, it would be a little weird at first. It's always kind of awkward being a couple at first. Look at Damian, though. It took him forever. Confessing his feelings to her must have been like getting engaged to a girl in his book. Oh, well. Cecelia would've waited for him no matter how long it took. She just knew that he was her one and only. Their bond was special and not to mention super kawaii!
