Claire closed her eyes. It was the first time she and Shawn had ever had a real romantic moment in front of a crowd, and she found her other hand settling on his shoulder while her other was still on his neck. She stopped swaying, and pulled her head away, looking into her boyfriend's face with her warm, dark brown eyes.

As the couple kissed, Shawn put his hand on the back of Claire's head. After the kiss, he looked at Claire with his bright blue eyes, and smiled.

Claire smiled as well. "Shawn, thank's for coming. It would be boring without you. Everyone else - well, almost everyone - is with their boyfriend or girlfriend, and even Rosemary is pretty occupied," She said, moving her hands onto his shoulders.

"O-Oh, okay then... Have fun." Cecelia looked a bit disappointed when Kevin wandered off to the refreshment table. Did he not want to dance with her? She wanted to dance with him... as a friend. I wonder what could be wrong... Maybe he's still upset about his arm, which he doesn't need his other arm to dance with me.. Ugh, I hate it when I try to make the situation positive. I have no idea how Kevin feels.. It was a sign to tell her to stop trying and let Kevin heal on his own. She was too busy watching Kevin to notice Damian talking to her.
The girl snapped out of it and turned to her best friend with a small smile on her face. "Y-Yeah! You have my full attention now~" She fidgeted with her dress slightly and glanced down at it. Cecelia blushed hard and glanced back and forth from her dress to Damian and then back to her pink dress. She looked up from her dress with wide, green eyes gazing into his blue eyes. "Y-You want to dance? Um... okay. T-This is a slow dance, you know? Are you okay with that? It won't be awkward for us, would it?"

"You're welcome. Yeah, I guess most people are occupied with their lover." said Shawn as he eyed the room, looking at all the couples. He moved his hands from Claire's head to her shoulders.

Claire smiled as the slow song ended and switched to Happy, the lights getting brighter. Giggling, the nineteen year-old dropped her arms, feeling awkward. "I've never really been much of a dancer," She confined.

Claire broke out laughing. "Nice," She said, barely able to look at him without laughing. She then proceeded to kinda bounce around with her hands up, feeling extremely awkward.

"Would it be awkward? Can anything that involves either of us being close to each other not be awkward?" Damian joked. "We always seem to make everything feel awkward. I guess technically we're still both single, though, so if anyone asks you can say it's just a friend kind of dance, if you want."
Truthfully, Damian always felt rather clumsy on his feet. Especially when it came to dancing. He wasn't so bad he would fall on anyone else or anything, but still had rather low confidence in his skills as a dancer. He was a guy who liked to be in the sky more, but he was able to make an exception when it came to Cecelia.

Cecelia hoped she didn't give Damian the wrong idea. Of course, it would be fine if they danced as friends. They promised they would take things slow after Cece had broken up with Kevin. The break up happened at the wrong time, but it had to be done before things got too serious between the two. She felt really bad about doing that to Kevin. She felt pressured to give him an answer right away so she went with the feelings she felt in the moment. Later, she really started to think about it with the help of Damian... Anyway, it was going to be okay. If it was too much, they would be friends. (Aw! Dami melted my heart when he said that Cecelia would be an exception<3) "He he~ Of course! Let's dance together, Dami." Cecelia smiled brightly and extended out her hand to him. "Come on. Take it, Dami~ It'll be a lot of fun especially when the slow dance is over. Then, we can let loose all we want."
