"Okay, seeya Damian, seeya Cecelia." He called back to them. Then he turned to Adam. "Hey, wanna explore?" He asked. "Hey, me and Adam are gonna explore." He called out to the group.

"Hey, let's shift into our animal forms, and I'll try my best not to eat you, Mr. Hawk." He joked. So he shifted into wolf form and ran through the entrance to the forest.

Adam sighed, and shifted into a hawk. He flew not too far above Kevin, just so he wouldn't eat him. He followed Kevin through the entrance of the forest, gliding gracefully.

Damian could've been pulling an act, but it was hard to believe that because he sounded so serious. It's like everything he said came from his heart. His reason was hard to have a good argument against. Damian would win the argument without a doubt. Cecelia nodded in agreement that she would not turn them in back in the human world. Even if they were out to get her, she wouldn't turn them in. If her kind was really a dangerous threat to them, she would take their side instead of her own. I wonder why I didn't know about these people... Maybe this is the first time a human has experienced something like this. Wait... How would the humans be a threat if they didn't know about them? No... Nobody told me about them? Not even Father!? Cecelia felt like she had been betrayed by her father. People were always keeping things a secret from her, and she was getting sick and tired of it! "Yes... I'm a human."

"Well it seems we can go off on our own, so we should be safe for now," Damian replied, trying to relax himself more but pretty much failing. He was helping another human. Again. One whose parents no-doubt hated his kind since Cecilia had never even heard of half-bloods before. Cecilia didn't seem like the kind who would keep a grudge, but even so Damian's morals were being conflicted by what he had done.
He guessed he would just have to see how this all played out. He knew that if he was caught helping her he could be in the same amount of trouble, but he still went forward with it. He started walking in the forest, not even turning into his owl form since he knew Cecilia couldn't. Even so, his wings started to poke out of his jacket, a sign that he would eventually be able to hang out with the human without freaking out.
Eventually.

Claire momentarily forgot about Opheilia as she overheard the conversation taking place. It was obvious for the half-blood that the new girl was human, but she kept it to herself. "Sure thing, Damian," Claire called back, driving a gaze into him that meant "I trust you. Take care of her" . With a nod, satisfied that everyone had heard, Claire strode over to Damian and the new girl. "I'm not gonna turn you in. You don't smell of fear and aggression, which my snow leopard half can pick up, like most humans do when the mean harm, so I won't let your secret get out. Just.. listen to Damian and I and you won't be harmed."

Cecelia followed after Damian into the forest since he wanted to talk to her about the situation. Damian was so nice to her about it. It made her feel like she could finally relax and be herself. She was glad that her secret was safe with someone she could trust. There was still a lot for her to learn at Animalia Academy. She could tell that the school year wasn't going to be any thing like before. It was going to be one long, interesting year for all of them. Cecelia walked behind Damian and took in the beautiful forest she was in. A small smile appeared on her face as she heard the birds singing a happy tune. It was very sweet and calming. She looked at Damian, and her smile grew a little bit bigger. "You know, I don't think I ever got your name. I'm Cecelia."

It wasn't a surprise to Damian that his usual talkative nature hadn't kicked in. Since Cecilia was a human, he knew that he was accidentally letting his owl nature get more in control. He didn't really try to stop it anymore. He was more alert this way, and sometimes is had honestly saved his life.
There were times that he had wished he let it take over more, but the past couldn't be changed now. He raised an eyebrow as Cecilia spoke, not realizing he hadn't even introduced himself.
"Damian," he replied simply. His hands were stuffed in his pockets, as they usually were when he was more nervous, as he looked around, keeping an eye out for the rest of the group. His alert eyes darted every time he heard a sound, but soon he calmed down enough to just give a sideways glance. "So...how haven't you heard of half-bloods before?"

It was better to be safe than sorry, right? It was okay with Cecelia if Damian didn't fully trust her yet. No hard feelings at all. Cecelia was also very observant of her surroundings. She pulled out her daggers from the white thick belt that was worn over her black stocking on her left thigh. She quickened her pace and lightly tapped the boy on his shoulder. Cecelia wanted to hand over her daggers so the students wouldn't think of her as a threat. "I forgot... I had these so here." There was no way she would use them on a student unless it was completely necessary which she preferred to handle situations without any violence. Of course, it was against the rules to bring weapons to school, but Cecelia always carried them around in her belt when she was out by herself. Never would she take them with her to classes. Maybe she could leave them in her dorm, and it would be alright.
But, there were times she had to use those daggers against thieves and stuff like that. She had been kidnapped when she was little, so her father taught her how to fight after that incident. Her smile grew when Damian trusted her enough to tell her his name. "Well, it's very nice to meet you, Damian~" Damian's question bothered Cecelia a little bit. Her father must have kept the creatures a secret from her the whole time. She could only imagine her father throwing a fit if he found out she was going to school with the half bloods he didn't want her to know about. Cecelia let out a sigh at the thought and looked up at Damian. What am I going to do with that big idiot? And, he wonders why I don't ever come to him when I'm in trouble or if I need to talk something out. But, I'm sure Mama also kept it a secret from me as well since she never spoke of half bloods. With her, it's easier for me to go to her about things... "Who knows. Papa has always kept things a secret from me ever since I was little. But, did you guys do something for Papa to keep half-bloods a secret from me? I never knew they existed until today.."

Wow I missed a lot)
Angelica sighed and sat by the forest watching in her wolf form. Looking bored she laid down and rested her head on her paws watching unamused.

Damian's eyes widened as Cecilia pulled out two daggers. What the heck was she doing with those. "What were these for?!" Damian asked in an alarmed matter. "What, you thought your new schoolmates were gonna be criminals or something?!" None the less, the teen took the daggers, making sure to remind himself to get rid of them later. He didn't want to be even more freaked out by a human having daggers while on the premises.
At Cecilia's next question, Damian sighed. "I never did anything to harm any humans. Neither did my parents. But humans are afraid of whoever is more powerful then they are. For some, the temptation that comes with being better than a normal human can get to their head, and everyone knows it," he explained. "Not all of us are all that innocent, either. I haven't ever hurt anyone. I swear. Even so, you all want me dead."

It wasn't like she was going to kill him with those. Cecelia rarely drew blood with those daggers in her lifetime. She mostly used them as throwing knives. For example, a thief tries to run away and she throws the daggers in front of the thief to scare him because her aim is quite accurate. She makes sure it goes past his/her ear to show that she would not hold back. It was mostly meant to be a warning to that person. "Oh, come on! I wasn't going to use them. My father gave them to me to protect myself in case of danger. He has always been worried about me since I got kidnapped when I was little. He taught me how to fight." Yeah, but she shouldn't have brought them to the school! Cecelia was going to have someone like a teacher hold onto them until the end of the year, so she could take them back to her father. She let out a sigh, and she wished she didn't even bring the daggers up into the conversation. Her father forced her to take them with her, and she didn't know what to do with them. They were her favorite, and she got them from her father. She couldn't just throw them away. Oh, well. It was best that she showed Damian instead of some teacher going through her dorm and finding the daggers. Then, she would be in big trouble. Cecelia continued to walk with Damian, listening closely to his story. "Well, that can't be true for all humans. I don't want you dead." she said, hoping to lighten up the mood.

"Well thanks. Nowadays it doesn't matter to me that much that anyone wants me dead, though. There's not much more they could do to me, anyway," Damian replied, giving a small smile. He sighed again and kicked a small rock absentmindedly, looking back down at the ground. He never blamed anyone else for what happened. He still was cautious around humans, though, even if they didn't want to hurt any half-bloods. He never wanted to hurt any of them, let alone kill one, so he never stood against anyone, but just ran away. He had been happy when he found that he didn't have to run at Animalia Academy, but even then there were humans.
"I guess we need to figure out an animal for you to pretend to be," he started. "Or perhaps a reason why you can't change, for good measure. Maybe you could say you still have animal DNA, but don't shift because it's not enough."

Good. Damian wasn't stuck in the past like some of the half blood students. But, that didn't mean he didn't care. Maybe that was the type of guy Damian was. The past was the past, and he wanted to focus on the present time. That's how Cecelia liked it. She didn't want to live in the past instead she wanted to live every present day to its fullest. Cecelia gasped with delight and jumped in front of Damian to keep from walking any further. "Ha ha~ Did I just see you smile?" She nodded and let Damian walk on by to where she could go back to walking next to him. "Well, I think you should smile more often. It looks good on you." She watched him carefully, waiting to get a positive reaction from him or something. The girl sighed when Damian went back to talking about a plan for her to keep her secret. Why did they have to go through so much trouble? They could just say it was a misunderstanding, and she could be sent back to the human world. But, she had to admit that she was already starting to settle in with Animalia Academy. Maybe it wouldn't hurt for her to stay until the school year passes then she could get transferred to a different school. "Won't you get in trouble for keeping my secret? I appreciate everything you have done for me, but maybe I should just turn myself in. It would be easier on all of us. I could just tell them that it was a misunderstanding. I.. I don't want you to get in trouble if they find out you have been keeping my secret. And, I'm not really one to keep secrets from people."

Damian nodded. "I guess I would, if I got caught. But some other half-bloods would want you dead. And it's a rule to kill any human found on campus. Ophelia hasn't been exposed to the teachers, but even so, we can't have them being suspicious. Though maybe it would be good so it would make them pay attention to the species that they let in the Academy," the explanation ended up turning into a joke at the end.
"I'm a snow owl. I'm stealthy and quiet. You think I can't keep a secret? You don't have anything to worry about," Damian insisted. "Just don't act clueless about half-bloods. Have any questions about them so far?"

Cecelia laughed nervously at the thing Damian said about the upside of turning a human student in. "Y-You're joking, right?" Oh, god! He could be the one to turn her in just so the teachers and staff could be more observant of the students they let into the school. It was kind of funny but it wasn't something to joke about since Cecelia was the one being threatened by a certain student finding out about her secret and wants to turn her in. The next thing Damian said was the animal he could turn into. It was a snow owl and that he would be sure to keep her secret a secret. That's if Cecelia didn't break down and tell her classmates that she was a human. "You're a snow owl? I have never seen one in person before. I hope someday you will feel comfortable enough to show me your animal form. I would love to see it! Snow owls are beautiful, and I think they can be pretty magical with their quiet and graceful movement."

Angelica just watched everyone interact. Feeling slightly awkward. She scratched her white fluffy ear at a loss as she stood in the shade seemingly out of place.

"Of course I'm joking," he insisted before Cecilia continued. As she went on about how beautiful snow owls were Damian felt a deep red blush warm his cheeks, and he raised his hand to rub the back of his neck awkwardly. "Ah...um...eh..." he fumbled around for words, not quite knowing how to respond to that. With a bit of an awkward cough, Damian tried to return the conversation to words, at the least. He shrugged, face still red with embarrassment.
"It's not all that," he insisted, shoving his hands in his pockets and silently hoping to hide in his jacket.

"Of course, what do I know about snow owls? I've never seen one before." she said and stretched her arms out as she walked next to Damian. It felt great to be in the forest and relax by having a nice chat with a friend... at least that's what she thought he was to her. She wasn't sure if he looked at her as a friend or not. Cecelia gasped a little when she noticed Damian blushing from the deep red blush on his cheeks. Someone was acting cute~ She giggled one of those cute, girly giggles to herself and smiled at Damian. It made her happy to see him blush or smile especially if she made him do that. "This is a lot of fun, Damian! Thanks for looking out for me when I first arrived. I didn't know what was going on. I'm sorry if I was so clueless, but in my defense, no one told me about you guys..."

Damian's blush finally faded, though a nervous smile still lingered on his face. He shrugged. "Option one, let you be possibly killed because you were accidentally sent to the wrong school, or option two, save your life. It's a bit of a no brainer. You were too clueless about half-bloods to have any ill-well towards them, anyway. I'm not going to blame you for something that other humans did," he explained, acting as if it was no big stretch at all he was helping a human, and risking himself as well.
"I'm surprised you haven't heard about us. The government tried to hide our existence from view for a while, but word got out anyway. Internet, hackers, you name it. I guess by now the whole thing has faded into normal everyday occurrences, so nobody notices it anymore?"

"I can't believe this will be my first and last year at Animalia Academy. I want to make it my best school year ever since it is a special school, but I don't want to get attached to the people here. It would just be harder for me to leave them after the year is over." Cecelia believed she would miss Damian the most. Nah, she just liked to make him smile and get all embarrassed. She thought about what Damian said and wondered what she would be like if she did find out about half bloods a long time ago. I don't think I would've cared. I would probably walk up to one and try to make friends with it. They haven't done anything wrong. I guess humans aren't ready for things like humans turning into animals. They are scared... Cecelia hoped her father wasn't on the government's side. But, she couldn't tell him about the school. It would completely expose her classmates.. and Damian. All of his work would've been wasted, and Cecelia would be a traitor to all of the half bloods. It's not like she wanted to tell her father about the school to be mean to them. She just wanted to learn more about why they were a secret that was kept from her. No, I can't talk to him about it. If he's really with the government, he would lead them right to Damian and the others... "I don't know. But, my parents have been keeping secrets from me my whole life so maybe that's why. Seriously, I'm growing up. It's about time they stop keeping secrets from me and talk face to face with me about things like this."

Damian kicked yet another stone, the smile fading from his lips again. "I guess we're too much of monsters to even be mentioned," he shrugged. "Sometimes I do wonder who the monsters really are. Some of the humans...just hate us so much...like I said before, not all of us are that innocent. I guess I would be afraid, too."
"So, what do you like to do in your spare time? Read a book? Sports? Throw daggers, maybe?" Damian asked, hoping to avoid the topic of humans for a while and try to act like it was totally normal for a human and half-blood to have an everyday conversation with one another.

Cecelia fell silent and listened to Damian's opinion about the whole half bloods versus humans. Then, the subject was changed and hopefully things were becoming more positive. She laughed when Damian asked her if she liked to throw daggers during her spare time. "Ha ha~ Yeah, I'm really sorry about that. I do train with my father as a self defense thing, and I read books as well. I like to go on a walk on a beautiful day, and I also practice cooking if I have the time for all those things. But, that's nearly impossible with my father around. He always wants me to study hard and practice self defense just in case I would need to put that to use." She noticed that she was rambling on and on about her answer to Damian's simple question. Her cheeks turned slightly pink, and she glanced at Damian. "So, what do you like to do in your spare time?"
