|Good idea, huh? If you see this and you want to JOIN, what's stopping you?| Grit was clogged in her cheek when she woke. Brown hair clouded her vision and shielded her senses. Her head ached where she hit it half-falling half-sliding down the cave tunnel, now blocked by boulders. That was for the best, though. At least a mile above where she stood on rock ground to dust was a silent city, scattered with bodies like a minefield. The plague had swept within hours, whipping out all that didn't have the time to escape. Once you breathe in the disease, you will be dead in five minutes. Jasmine's head throbbed with pain as she pushed herself upright. There was a large swelling bruise on her shin, and a medium cut on her arm, but otherwise she was alright. Fixing her hair behind her ear, she swept her brown gaze over the other people that had scrambled down the steep tunnel to the large wide cave that they escaped to. There were so few of them, but Jasmine could only think about one problem. There is so few of us, and only one way to survive..
She pushed the unsettling thought of romance away and focused on getting to her feet. With minimal effort, Jasmine made it to her feet and steadied herself against a wall, watching for someone to wake. Suddenly a thought flickered past her mind. These people need someone with background in healing and a willingness to lead to help the find survival. And Jasmine was perfect for that job, and as much as she believed people might refuse, she knew that she would have to lead. So, on shaky legs, Jasmine made her way to the center of the clearing and waited for the next person to awake

Chase was lying on cold hard rock when he awoke. He put his hand on his belt, searching for his twin daggers. He saw a female standing in the center of the cave. He quickly got up and took his daggers out, one in each hand. "Who are you!" He demanded. "What am I doing here!"

Concussion, lost memory, Jasmine noted mentally. "Jasmine. Don't you remember the plaque? You're here because this was the only place to flee." As Jasmine spoke, she noticed the daggers Chase held and looked around for her own weapon that she had grabbed right before fleeing; A sturdy black compound bow with a collection of at least thirty lean arrows, build for hunting and tough impact. She soon spotted it where she had woke, picked it up, then walked back before setting it on the ground in front of her in a meaning of peace.

"I'm not dropping my daggers." He said coldly. "There is no one I can trust. And my memories are coming back to me. How many others are here?" He said, looking at the others sleeping on the floor.

Kara could feel the heavy darkness around her. Her limbs felt like lead and she couldn't move. Her head felt like it was split in two. She fought to wake up and push back against the unconsciousness but it seemed to only weaken her further. Resting awhile long she was finally able to open her eyes enough to peer around her. It looked like a disaster! She slowly tested out her limbs one by one and staggered up to her feet. Favoring her head where blood ran down from her temple. She found that her sword was painfully strapped to her back which took her impact instead of the ground. Her twin guns ebony and ivory were scattered a few feet from her.
Limping over to them she grabbed her guns and tucked them away into their holsters at her thighs before taking a look at her surroundings. She heard voices over the dull throbbing and roar of her blood in her head and slowly made her way towards them. One hand joking into the handle of one of her guns for caution.

Matt~ Matt suddenly woke up in a cave, not too well lit. He looked around to see other people there with him. Matt looked to see Nathaniel lying on the edge of the cave not too far away from him. Matt slowly got up, but fell again. He was weak, and he didn't know why. So, Matt crawled over to his little brother and shook him. "Nate, wake up! We survived!" said Matt.
Nathaniel~ Nathaniel took a deep breath and woke up. "Matt! Are you ok?" said Nathaniel is his young voice. Both him and Matt's faces were covered in dirt and grime. Before they were asleep, they were hiding in the backstreets of the city. They had gas maks on, but they didn't work too well. They both fell asleep and woke up there.

Jasmine opened her mouth to say "Well, the ones awake are five" but she didn't. Instead, she glared at the boy in front of her, taking her bow and arrows up once again. "I thought you didn't trust me, so I won't bother with the question," she retorted.
Footsteps echoed and Jasmine look over her shoulder to see a young woman stumbling towards her, her head obviously in pain with the way she waddled as though she couldn't see three feet in front of her. Jasmine lay a hand on her shoulder to steady the girl. "Hey, sit down," She coaxed, trying to get the girl to sit so she could make sure she was alright. "I'm not gonna hurt you."
More voices to her left called Jasmine's attention, and she looked up momentarily to see two boys waking. Best leave them be while they find their bearings, Jas decided, then turned to the boy from earlier again. "You just gonna stand there? Or can you not hurt an injured human?" Jasmine demanded, a cold glare flickering along her brown eyes.

Kara flinched at the contact but allowed her to be helped. Still holding into Ebony loosely in her grasp for good measures. Her blue eyes looked around cautiously. Noticing the glare between the young woman helping her and a boy.

Pepper woke up with a terrible headache and a scratch on her leg. "Wuh"She grumbled looking around the rocky cave. She saw other people asleep and awake lying around. "Hello?"She asked to no one in particular.

Jasmine turned once again, and at the opposite end of the cave was another female. "Hi," She called back, staying by the assumed-dizzy girl. Jasmine then turned to the entire waking group and told everyone, "If you need help, I have background in medicine and will help you with any healing necessary that I can conjure."

"We're in a cave. There was a horrible plaque. We may be the only survivors, in the world." He told her. He walked over to the girl, and handed her one of his daggers. "Here." He said. "You're gonna need something to protect yourself."

She rubbed her forehead tiredly. "Dang do ye mind not shouting I got a headache." She muttered quietly even if they weren't shouting it felt like it in her head

Matt~ Matt smiled as he saw his brother wake up. "Yeah, I'm alright." said Matt. He finally had the strength to get himself up. So, Matt got up and looked around. He saw the others introducing themselves, so he decided to do that too. "Um, hi. I'm Matt. This is my little brother, Nathaniel. You can call him Nate or Nathan." introduced Matt.

Kara raised a brow at the others but remained silent. Turning her head away she focused on her gun in her hands. Drifting off in thought as she examined her weapon.

Jasmine smiled at the boy that walked up, leaning around the other two, Chase an Pepper. "Hi," She replied to Matt. "I'm Jasmine." He's cute, she thought, the thought that had scared her earlier resurfacing. She swallowed it again. "I think we might have to live together. This is just one large cave, and at least five of us." Why are you telling him this, moron?

"Cool!" Jasmine replied, grinning. Her stomach rumbled and she returned to where she woke up, picking up the small bag she had, and pulling out a can of cold beans. Sitting down on a rock, she began scooping it out with two fingers. She frowned as the girl walked away. "You have to stay, if you want. This is the only cave. there's no way out."
Licking her fingers, she watched Matt again. "Hey, Matt. You hungry?"
(Lets just say they all fell into a large cave, about fifty feet in every direction, and there is no way out. The cave walls are mate of pure stone, so their's no way to dig out because they would cut themselves. If you guys get it, maybe I'll say we find a tunnel. But not yet)

Jasmine shrugged and held out the can for Matt and her to share, figuring that if anyone else wanted something to eat they would ask. She then dipped her fingers back into the beans, drew them out, and stuffed them in her mouth.
