It wasn't as though Dee was necessarily rude or anything. She just... enjoyed the spotlight. Most did. Most love being the center of attention. Diana was an enhanced in the sense that she enjoyed the stage to the point where it was an addiction, in some ways, for her to perform. She didn't have a band. She was working on it. Dee had a plan, though. And that day, in the cafeteria, was the start of it. One of the reasons she did want to sing for the students was because of the rumors. About assassins in the forest, living with them, eating with them. Dee figured they might want a song. Bored, unable to wait much longer, Diana looked up, her brown eyes focusing on the microphone propped in the center of the stage, just sitting there. Dee dropped her fork, looked around at the students gathered for lunch, and skipped up the steps to the stage. She knew some might think she was annoying, though she didn't care as much. Walking up to the microphone, she brushed a bit of hair behind her ear. Despite her done-up hair, Diana's knee-length white locks did still fall around her waist. At least it's not as long as usual, she thought, looking around at the faces of all her peers. After adjusting her outfit a touch, Diana tapped the mic. Realizing it was off, she flicked the switched and tapped again. A low, theatrical tone buzzed through the speakers. No need for an entry, Dee had decided. Taking a deep breath, hands at her side, she began singing. Her voice was pure, high, sweet, perfect. The song she sung? Without a band, she knew some songs wouldn't sound right, so she sung the clean version of Hot n' Cold.

(wonder if I should have Grant have a crush on Dee...oh wait he's 3 years older than her)
Grant was eating a burger in the cafeteria. He wasn't planning to do anything that day, just mostly worry about the assassins. Or contemplate about life in his dorm. These were regular things that he did. Grant was just about to leave the cafeteria, when he heard someone tap a microphone, he stopped in his tracks. The wolf-half blood turned towards the stage, and saw who it was. A beautiful girl with white hair and an amazing voice. Until the end of the song she had sang, Grant was in some sort of trance...A trance that made him attached to music, it was bizarre. Throughout the song, he had cheered her on, and said things like "You're amazing!"

Ugh, you people and your pop songs. Learn to enjoy classical. Lusaki had to say, the performance was nice, minus the fact that the girl wasn't sure if the weird person actually was allowed to be on stage. Lusaki was finishing a peanut butter jelly sandwich (her lunch consisted of a pbj sandwich, some carrots, and an apple. And maybe a cookie), and looked at Grant, who was a foot away, cheering and complimenting. Lusaki rolled her eyes, but she did smile at Diana, just for politeness and to acknowledge that this girl had some talent! Ugh, you boys and your addiction to cute-looking girls who can sing.

(wonder if I should have Grant have a crush on Dee...oh wait he's 3 years older than her) |Actually just changed it - She's 19| Dee grinned ear to ear. She had hardly finished before people started cheering. She didn't know what to say yet, so she just removed the microphone from the stand and held it to her face. "I've never been much of a dancer," she admitted, trying to make someone laugh, "So I'm sorry it wasn't Taylor Swift or any other star styled." Diana smiled again, brushed white hair from her cheek, leaned on her heals a little. Raising the mic again, she decided to finish off. "My name's Diana. Some people call me Dee, though whatever is fine. Anyway, I think I'll be looking for a band, so look for posters!"

(ooh i have ideas)
As the song ended, his "trance" wore off, but he was still intrigued with the girl onstage. A band? Grant was never the musical type, but he still enjoyed listening to it. Not so much playing it. Maybe he could try something new, and continue his fresh new start at the Academy.
(not sure what else to do...:/)

(so Lusaki has to be the person watching all this. I guess she'll just watch)
Lusaki clapped her hands together. Yes, finally! This girl rocked at the drums and the violin. Actually piano was her prime. Lusaki never actually showed this, but she loved music. She just hated playing in front of people. Rather, she would show off her acrobatics. Lusaki waited for Diana to get off the stage so she could fly up to her and ask what animal half she was. With this talent, it could have been an attribute, but Lusaki wanted to make sure. I still hate you for making a boy swoon.

After a quick grin, Diana waved to the students and bounded down the steps after ensuring the mic was turned off. Brushing her hair away, she let the students eye her, she let some gape, and she let herself be happy.
|Gah, so little to do| |Wait, since when was Lusaki a musician?|

(Is there an order?) (Lusaki does basic drums, is decent at violin, and practically is only talented at piano.) Lusaki skipped over to Diana. "WHat animal half are you?" She asked. "Yea I sound random, but random is good so yea.... what animal half are you?"

|You mentioned that here, but you never said anything about it in your bio, so it's not true...| "Ehhr.." Dee said, surprised. She twirled a poece of hair between her fingers and grinned almost grudgingly. "Snowy owl."

Grant couldn't help himself. He had to know who this confident singer was. It wasn't everyday that someone like her would go up on the stage and sing a song. Grant walked up to her, and said, "You're amazing! It's so cool that you have confidence to go up onstage and do something like that!" Grant paused for a second. He might seem a little overwhelming... "What's your name? I'm Grant."

(Oh I didn't? Ugh well can Lusaki take lessons on piano? ) Lusaki was about to narrow her eyes and say, I'm sorry, until Grant came up and commented on Diana's amazingness and confidence and blah blah blah. I hate you Grant."Diana, didn't you hear her?" Lusaki said in a teasing tone. Yes, Lusaki finally mastered trying to contain her annoyance. Lusaki looked at Diana and Grant. You guys look so cute together!!!

|Lusaki is ten. Not exactly a band aged girl. Maybe for some performances. But the school doesn't even have a music room..... *adds to list of "boards to make"*|
The young talented singer turned to the new-comer and instantly her smile broadened. She loved being mused over, and the boy before her was even pretty cute. "Thank you soooo much, Grant!" She exclaimed, beaming widely, almost ignoring Lusaki. But when the first girl spoke, Diana did return her attention. "This hotty was probably too focused on trying to catch his adorable courage!" Dee exclaimed, throwing a flirty smile towards Grant, her heel raised slightly, almost suggestively.

(lol pwease? YES YOU'RE ONLINE I DEMAND YOU TO REPLY ON THE DEAD WEBSITE) Lusaki smiled, instantly hating Diana and wanting to smush her pretty face with one good punch. Or maybe make her bleed to death. No, Lusaki wasn't jealous, she just met Grant. She just hated Diana's attitude. Perhaps one day Lusaki would like Diana, but definelty not now. "Yea, he's um... cute. So, how do I join your band?" Please don't say I'm too young come on I wanna make a friend!!!

Woah. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, has ever called Grant "hot" before. Not even his mom.(well duh, that'd be weird) He felt his face grow red, and smiled nervously. He rubbed the back of his neck, and said, "Uh...um...th-thanks..."

|... It's band or dead website first thing forever|
Diana blinked, confused at the girl's question, then shook her head and shrugged. "I dunno. I might have tryouts." Then, to Grant, she grinned widely again and resisted pecking him on the cheek. She desperately wished she didn't have to dump her totally sexy boyfriend right before her parents were murdered. But that's how life works. Mostly Grant was cute though.

I absolutely hate it when you act like I'm some little kid who has no idea that you are IGNORING ME. Lusaki forced a smiled and said, "So when are the tryouts? I'd really like to join." She jutted Grant in the ribs, just to remind him to stop acting like a crazy hot girl follower and an actual mature person.

(Lol he can't be any more mature than that)
Grant gave a slight, "Oof." at Lusaki's small shove. He got the message from it, and tried to be a bit more mature. Grant could tell from the annoyance of her voice that she did not enjoy being ignored, or rather, interrupted. He hesitated for a moment, and asked, "Yeah, when are the tryouts? I really want to be in your band." Ah, he could just imagine it: They're onstage, the light hazy, and the rest of the room dark. Dee would be singing, and him playing keyboard...or maybe another instrument.

Dee twirled some hair between her fingers again, smiling kindly. "Oh, I don't know really. I have to figure it out a good time and ask eh... what's her name? Oh, yeah, Claire - if I can use the new music room which I totally am not making>.</s]." Diana cast her warm blue eyes from Lusaki to Grant to Lusaki and back.

"You know, we could always practice in my cave... er, not mine but the one I use. Really nice. I'll ask the bats to keep anything uh... inconvenient from interrupting us. It would be easier then having to make a new board having to ask Ms. Claire." Lusaki offered, finally happy that Grant manned up. All girls would like a mature gentlemen.

(because it's totally rational to practice in a bat-poo cave)
Grant realized the situation, and shivered. I know, I know, it's weird, but little Grant has a fear of anything with wings. Wait. Scratch that. He's not really afraid of anything with wings, rather, he's highly uncomfortable with anything with wings. Unless, they're a friend/crush of him. So, from the tiny voice in Grant's noggin speaking, the only person who's making him uncomfortable...is Lusaki. That said, there is no way he is going to practice in a bat-poo filled cave. "Well, uh, wouldn't having a music room be...cleaner? And maybe more organized? I'm just saying, for a band, it's easier to know where everything is." said Grant.

Lusaki frowned. But then she smiled wide. "I mean, yea I guess a music would be cleaner if Sunny even made one." Yes, she was aware that Grant shivered. Lusaki glued her smile on. Was she making Grant uncomfortable? It made Lusaki feel stupid. No, of course she couldn't invite anyone to a cave, because everyone was afraid of bats.

Diana watched the conversation, casting her pretty gaze one way and another. When there finally seemed a chance to talk, she raised a finger to make her point. "It's generous of you, eh... Lupocky. Though u think the music room is better. After all, you can't necessarily get Claire to let us bring school instruments in, right? Besides, tryouts haven't even started." Dee smiled warmly. She tried to lean against Grant a bit

When the subject switched back to singing, Dee beamed eider. She wasn't self-centered or anything - she just loved praise. And she was falling all over Grant because she was still exhausted from the ceaseless torrent of nightmares and the long trip to the academy.
"Well, thank you!"Diana exclaimed. "I mostly tought myself, but I had numerous lessons as well here and there."

"Cool!" said Grant in his usual escatic tone. Well this is awkward...Sure I'm taller than her, but now I feel like a wall. I'M HUMAN. NOT SOMEWHERE TO REST. he thought. Well...Diana's kinda cute when she's tired. Grant attempted to softly rub her back. He didn't do it to be creepy, but for the fact that Dee looked tired, and somewhat overwhelmed, he thought he should comfort her in some way.
(SO SORRY for the late post!)

Imediately at the question, Diana's eyes glazed over slightly, and she looked over Lusaki's shoulder vacantly. "I.." Keep your cool, keep your cool! "I had a... A sister..." She muttered, grief-stricken. Grant's comfort was helping, but she was still feeling the insecurity that she thought she had shaken off. Her wings twitched slightly, out of nervous habit.
