An angry Sapphire stormed into the gym, ready to burn off some energy. She was feeling a variety of emotions that day. Hatred of father for abusing her, hatred of her mother for leaving the family, hatred of the academy and its students. Pity for her father who was probably alone, and hope for her mother to live her life fully. Sapphire wore a white tank top and army pants, making her look like she was in the army yet she wasn't. She wore light brown boots and carried a small duffel bag containing a water bottle and boxing gloves. She was ready to beat up anything; she didn't care if it was a student or a punching bag.
Sapphire dropped her duffel bag on a bench. She then opened her duffel bag and grabbed her boxing gloves. She zipped the bag up again and put on her boxing gloves. Sapphire approached a punching bag close to the bench her stuff was on. "Good morning, punching bag," She greeted the punching bag as if it was her next victim, and in some ways it kind of was. "You're about to wake up if you haven't already." With that, she started punching the bag rapidly.

Jack walked into the gym, with a towel on his shoulder. He saw that another girl was there, and nearly laughed. But seeing the impact of punching bag from her punches amazed him. The only girls he would actually expect to see that kind of strength was from either Jess or Rayne.
He walked up toward the girl, but was a safe distance away, and said, "Well, you certainly have strength." He came to another punching bag and started punching it as well, along with the powerful girl next to him.

| OMGOMG THANKS FOR POSTING MABEL YOU ARE AWESOME | She stopped punching the poor victimized punching bag to see a guy standing there with a towel on his shoulder. "Pfft, yeah, I think I can tell." She muttered with heavy sarcasm. She took off her gloves and set them in her duffel bag. She then sat down on the bench her stuff was on and took out her water bottle from her duffel bag. She took a long drink.

(you're welcome ) Jack rolled his eyes. HIs charisma wasn't doing as well as it had before. This meant that his conversational skills were dropping down at an alarming rate. Jack smiled a bit at the girl's heavy sarcasm. He shrugged and kept on punching the punching bag.

She studied the boy as she drank from her water bottle. He seems to be tough, and that's something I do indeed favor. But I don't think he's the one. She is interested in romance and finding it, but she never discusses her interest in finding it.
"What's your name?" Sapphire asked, still studying him as he punched the punching bag.

Jack stopped punching the punching bag, and looked at the girl with a placid expression. "Jack." Was all he said. He decided to stop punching, and take a small break. He sat against a wall, and sighed. "What's yours?" He asked.

"Marie." She lied. The boy was interesting. He was like a female teenager's diary- locked up so no one read it. If she was going to find out his secrets she would need to do it now, in the moment where they were starting to learn about each other, or at least learn each other's names.
"Where you from? You know, before you came here?" She asked, keeping eye contact with him the entire time. She was going to crack his locked-up diary. She had to. She was determined to.

Jack wiped his forehead, then looked at Marie with an annoyed look. "Why should I tell you my origin when we just met? Seems a little fishy." said Jack, squinting his eyes at Marie. "But, I really don't need to be injured again, so, I guess I could tell you. I was born in San Francisco, but most of my memories reside in Chicago."

| It's fine. Don't worry about it | "Great. I grew up in France. Big deal. It was just a question, where you came from." She said, returning the annoyed look he gave her. She loved this game- trying to get Jack to talk, reveal his past and his information. Sapphire carefully placed her stuff on the floor next to the bench. She then laid down on the bench, closing her eyes, trying to relax. If she was going to get Jack to talk about his information and past she would definitely, in her mind, need to analyze what he said so she can pick out the important pieces. "So, Jack... You got any siblings? A girlfriend? I have neither siblings nor a lover, but I manage." She asked calmly, relaxing on the bench she found to be very comfortable. | Lol every time I think of Jack King I'll think of a big pink teen's diary xD |

"France, huh? That's nice you grew up in such an elegant country." complimented Jack. He breathed in, and exhaled softly. That's the weird thing about resting after you excercise. If you take in a breath, it feels amazing. He looked back at Marie and cocked his head. "Why are you asking all these questions?" asked Jack.

The brunette smiled so tiny you could barely tell it was a smile at a first glance. "Oh, it's just something I tend to do." She lied. She felt like she was doing such a good job at lying this time around; better than when she met Zalman. "I like to get to know people on the spot to reassure myself... It's, uh, pretty creepy, I know." Another lie. Sapphire felt like she was acing the lying job.

Jack hesitated for a moment. "Really? Well, you're...different. Do you still want me to answer the question?" asked Jack. Thinking that her answer would be yes, he continued. "Well, I had a bunch of siblings, but all but one of them died off. My sister is here at the academy, so at least my whole family isn't dead. I do have a girlfriend though..."

(Hope you don't mind if I join in)
Logan stood near the corner of the gym, his metal claws on, watching the two. He hadn't seen Opal in a while, nor anyone. He usually kept himself hidden. He slowly walked up to the two from behind, making no sound due to the muffled clothes he had made. He klinked the claws together, making himself known. He attempted to shove past Jack and looked at the girl. "Meet me in the forest at midnight. Don't bring anybody." He dodged Jack and walked out of the gym, and headed into the forest.

(don't mind at all)
Jack was overwhelmed from shove, and fell over. Rude...was his only thought. He stood up again, and attempted to shove Logan away, so he could continue his conversation with Marie.
(well logan's kinda dumb. If Sapphire wasn't, well, Sapphire, and she was some innocent girl, she would've totally got some new info from Logan. Also, she would've figured out that Logan was a part of the assassin group, which would actually add to the plot, but not in a good way.)

| Hold up. Even though Sapphire is an assassin she is new nonetheless, and there are some things she doesn't know yet. This thread is the first time Sapphire is meeting Logan. Also, if Logan was in the corner of the gym Sapphire probably would've noticed when she entered. Plus, I don't know if it's possible for someone to make no sound whatsoever. I bet he's wearing shoes, and shoes make sound, right? It seems you're not being realistic, please try to be. |
Sapphire sat up and studied the man before he left. She assumed it was Logan, the guy Opal had been talking about. Sapphire hadn't met Logan before. Despite that she felt the assumption that it was Logan was correct, because he had metal claws, and from Sapphire's experiences at the academy, so far she hadn't seen anyone else with a weapon besides Opal.
"Well he seemed to be quite rude. Who was he, anyways?" She asked Jack, hoping he knew who the guy was.

Jack kept on glaring at Logan as he left the gym. Nostalgia waved over Jack, memories of Chicago. "Mm..." mumbled Jack as Marie asked him a question. "His name's Logan. We used to be in a two man gang, back in Chicago, but ever since I got together with my current girlfriend, and when his old girlfriend left...he just stopped being himself, and turned against me. Maybe because I changed over the months, and he stayed the same, but he kept on being angry with me.
"He is a master blacksmith though, and he's still pretty strong, so I would think he could teach you a few things." explained Jack.

Sapphire was right. It was Logan. But Jack's last sentence agitated her a little. Well, maybe more than a little. "What, are you saying I don't know enough? 'Oh, he could teach you a few things'. Does that mean I'm not skilled?!" Her face turned bright red in rage. No, not rage. Just anger. She wasn't that mad. But she was still angry.

Jack chuckled at Marie's anger. "I meant he could teach you more things, so you would be even more skilled! I didn't mean it that way...he he." he chuckled. It honestly was kinda fun seeing Marie squirm around like that. It was like she was Jack's puppet.

What a stupid half-blood. She hated his remarks and because he chuckled, she could tell he was enjoying her anger. She stood up and walked over to him. She stood in front of him now. Sapphire attempted to smack him in the face, hoping to knock some sense into him about messing with girls. | Lol it would be so funny if the slap hit him |

(lol no chance)
Jack kept on chuckling. Because she stepped in front of him, he could tell Marie would try and slap him or something like that. Jack grabbed her wrist, which was inches away from his face. "Hehe, sorry, but no." said Jack.
(lol)
